This is an amazing and very unique house. The grounds and views are amazing. Very secluded for peace and relaxation. Convenient to Hwy 91. Great place to stay for leaf peeping. Can’t recommend enough.

This is such a special place.....the most beautiful setting!! I was hoping for a quiet place to energize.....the serene location, and the incredible architecture, along with all the soul soothing amenities within the home....Brenda has done such a good job putting it all together! Only a small trip to the local historic town of Bradford for some sites and dinner. Half Moon was a wonderful retreat to recharge!

This place is a literal hidden gem and I selfishly hope no one finds out about it but us! Breathtaking views, built with such artistic beauty and design. The attention to detail, books about the history of the area, pottery mugs with moons on them, gorgeous fireplace ambience - was incredible. Clean and pet friendly; we were so grateful there was a retractable leash for our Golden Lucy, since we forgot ours!! My only regret is not staying longer. Thank you!

This home is truly perfect for getting away from it all! Beautiful views and no neighbors. The fireplace and huge windows in the living room were perfect for a winter getaway. The kitchen is the most well-stocked of any VRBO I have stayed in recently. I hope to be back next year.

This was our fifth time staying here (we've come in April, May, June, Sept and Nov). We love it. So serene, quiet and beautiful. Great hiking nearby. In town (10 min or so) there is a large grocery store and some local restaurants. We prefer to cook at home but have tried a couple of the restaurants which have been very good. The house has all you need. It's located on top of a hill that you get to by going up a 0.25 mile dirt driveway. SUVs should have no trouble. I would highly recommend!

This was our fourth time at Half Moon House and, despite the gloomy weather, we had another enjoyable stay. Perfect for getting away from it all. The house has everything we need to feel at home. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Getaway

This is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet. No noise from traffic or neighbors, only nature at its finest. House is unique with a beautiful fireplace and there's plenty of land to explore. On our list of places to hopefully visit again and again.
