Helt privat vackert hus i trädbevuxen 10 tunnland med utsikt över damm med utsikt över bergen. 7 minuter från RT I-91 och nära till allt. Unikt hem med öppen planlösning, katedraltak och massor av fönster. Byggt 2008 detta hus är lugnt och fredligt. Inredning Inkluderar Frank Lloyd Wright designade stolar från Copeland möbler i Bradford. Den har 1 sovrum med en queen size-säng och ett stort öppet loft med en drottning och full storlek sängar och en soffa. Det finns en öppen planlösning vardagsrum med 2 soffor och olja värme. Internet och kabel-TV med Netflix ingår. Det har också 2 däck på öst- och västsidan av huset och 1 däck vid dammet för stargazing och djurliv. Eller bara för att sitta och läsa. Det finns en eldstad vid dammen och kanot och kajakpaddling på dammen med paddlar och PFD i dammhuset. Det finns några korta vandringsleder runt fastigheten också.

Perfect getaway

We loved everything about the Storybook House on Wright Mountain. Everything was as described and just beautiful. Exceptional place to stay, close to tourist attractions in every direction.

Everything I hoped for - and more.

It was a beautiful "cabin" - large, yet cozy at the same time. The grounds were magical and I spent a lot of time with a book by the pond. The bench by the small brook was a unique, appreciated touch. We plan on a return stay for sure!

Peaceful getaway

We spent six nights at the Treehouse with our three-month-old daughter and had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the house is very comfortable. Hiring Morgan (the property manager and a personal chef) for one night's dinner was a highlight!

We came to the area for the fall foliage- the “treehouse” was perfect accommodations The owner sent an email as soon as we booked to welcome us and the property manager sent a text on the checkin date to give us contact info if needed - I so appreciated their attention to kind gestures ! I would definitely recommend this property - it has such character and the grounds are beautiful

Great stay

Everything we had hoped for while visiting the area. Responsive managers, good communications, nice place for our family! We wish we had more time to have enjoyed it though as we were out most of the time visiting relatives. No hesitancy renting this place again in the future.

Relaxing property

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house had plenty of space for us to spread out and relax during the rainy days. When the weather was nicer we enjoyed the property - sipping coffee on the deck, walking the trails, and kayaking in the pond. We would definitely stay here again.

A Wonderful Cabin In Bradford

The house was well kept and a great location for the town of Bradford. It’s seriously a hidden gem with plenty of space for a family. The kitchen was well stocked and there is plenty of things to do with kids/adults. The grill was a great addition for cooking. I am seriously looking forward to coming back to stay when visiting family in Vermont.

Great Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Treehouse. My kids spent hours on the trails, at the outdoor firepit, in and around the pond, and in the woods. A great place to relax and recharge while spending time in nature. Great communication from the owners and property manager. Plus, quick drive to town and close to lots of hikes. We had a terrific visit.

Peace and relaxation in the woods

We had a great week at the Treehouse, which is set on a beautiful piece of property in the woods. The house was clean and comfortable; set up with everything we needed for our stay. Even when the weather kept us indoors, it was peaceful to just sit in the living room and watch the rain from the windows surrounding us. You always felt enclosed by nature. There is lots to do in the area, and we especially enjoyed the nearby hikes to Devil's Den and Wright's Mountain, and visits to the farmer's market and King Arthur Baking Company store and cafe in Norwich. Hope to return again some time!

End of summer getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in the woods. We relaxed in the porch and the pond. We took long walks on the dirt road. We enjoyed watching the birds and the wildlife. The weather was perfect for enjoying this beautiful woodlands setting

Beautiful location

The house is nice and the location is very pretty. As stated in the description, the house is located on several acres. I mentioned one improvement to the owner as a suggestion for the future and that would be blinds that could be closed at night in the den/kitchen area.

My name is Steve and my brother Glenn and I built this house as a vacation home around 2008 with loving care to details. We enjoy being outdoors and have created great outdoor spaces including a good size pond. We have also been able to to bring the outdoors inside via the many windows and two decks.
We have enjoyed many nights sitting around a fire by the pond and singing and playing guitar, and being with family and friends. It is our favorite getaway and when we are not able to get there then we are thinking about the next time we can!

Varför värden valde detta boende

The cathedral ceiling and all the many windows create an open and bright feel. It feels like you are up in the trees. And you look right over the pond which attracts all kinds of wildlife.
We traveled to Vermont as kids and fell in love with this central location to the White and the Green Mountains! And don't forget the incredible Vermont cheddar cheese right from the wheel in the country stores.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The pond, the views from the living room, and the feeling of being in the trees are all unique features of this home. It is peaceful and private. A chance to get back to a simpler time and renew the spirit.
We always feel that when standing in the loft looking out we are on a ship. The smoke stack, ceiling fans, portal window and view of the pond all support that notion. So last year we added a Ships Wheel to the loft. The kids love it!

We also have a personal chef Morgan, who will come to the house for a unique dining experience. We have enjoyed his delectable offerings many times.
