Very quaint and charming. Loved the back porch and the clear blue starry sky. Would recommend some night lights upstairs. Very dark walking up.

We had a lovely stay at this VRBO. We were able to visit several excellent restaurants, a distillery and a winery. The proximity to Lake Louisa (friends live there) was a plus. If we need a place to stay in the area we will definitely look this one up again.

Countryside calming charm

We had a lovely weekend stay at this peaceful countryside retreat with our baby. The home has a charming country farmhouse feel that made it a cozy and relaxing getaway. The host was great with communication and made everything easy from start to finish. The pillows were just a bit too thin for our preference, but that was a minor detail in an otherwise wonderful stay. We’d definitely come back again!

Great space- perfect for a girlfriends weekend

The house was great for a group of girlfriends wanting to unwind. Loved the views. The porch was absolutely PERFECT. Spent the majority of our time out there.

Wine Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Wish we would have had one more day just to relax there. Everything was as mentioned or showed on the website. Loved the skylights in the loft bedroom upstairs. Place was easy to find even though in the country. The whole area was nice. Did not get a chance to get to the lake or pond that is on the property. Be sure to book an extra day of your stay if you have plans on all days of your stay so you can enjoy this cute wine cottage.

Sisters' Wine Weekend

Delightful and well-appointed cottage with lots of personal touches. Porch is fantastic. Loved the rural setting. Close to several wineries, and easy access to the whole Charlottesville wine scene.

Quiet and Relaxing

Wanted to find a cozy cottage to stay in Virginia with my wife and my parents, and this was perfect. Located on a quiet back road, noise was minimal. The screened in back porch was perfect for watching rabbits, woodchucks and deer. The owner was very responsive with any questions I had. If you are looking for a quiet cottage to stay in while enjoying wine country, I would recommend.

Relaxing house in the country

This was our third time visiting, and the house was as charming as ever! We love sitting on the screened in porch and just hanging out. Time slows down and we always leave relaxed. No TV has always been a plus for me, but the Internet is great so it's easy to stream movies on your own device.

Very Bucolic Setting

We loved this place; very spacious & comfortable. It was very peaceful to enjoy coffee on the screen porch in the morning & watch the animals at the rescue farm across the street throughout the day & enjoy the sunsets in the evening. It was very welcoming to get a text from our host to check to see if we arrived safely and needed anything.

Peaceful retreat

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was clean, tastefully decorated and nestled out in a calm and restful area of Louisa. We recommend this little gem to all wanting a private place to rest and recharge!

Weekend away

The house was perfect for our group: 2 couples celebrating a birthday. Water pressure in the shower was great. Location was perfect for us: quiet area, we were able to see stars at night, and we enjoyed the view of alpacas across the street!

Set in a rural surrounding with beautiful trees turning brilliant colors while I was there, this cabin was the perfect retreat for me and my friends. More than enough room for 2 couples, clean and cozy. Close to downtown Charlottesville and numerous wineries and great restaurants in Gordonsville. I would definitely reserve this property again.
