Enjoyed a week at this property. Check in painless and owner responded immediately to several questions I had prior to our arrival. Location was perfect for us, five minutes or less to Deadwood yet in a small town environment with a true old fashioned main street. Walked out door of condo every evening to dine at places on main street. The coffee shop (Java Jive) across stoplight and below Ace Hardware is a "must visit"; they also have an expansive menu of american fare and this would be a good place to grab something quick for dinner if you get into town in the evening, as we did. The Condo building is in good repair, hallway carpet in building has the ski lodge carpet smell, as would be expected. The condo unit itself has obviously been recently remodeled, appears freshly painted, new carpet, everything clean, nicely decorated, and in working order. Best set of kitchen and dining ware of any condo I have stayed at. The city this condo is located in reminds me of a cross between Butte Montana and a small Colorado town. A day can be spent just walking down main to visit museum, visitors center, small arts/antiques shops, ice cream shop, and of course the open pit mine; a site to see if you have never seen one. We enjoyed our stay at this condo, great location, and offered stunning sunrises from the balcony. Would stay here again if coming to the Black Hills.
