We are very sorry and extremely disappointed to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your time at our “Live Aloha” condo. The VRBO listing does state that air conditioning is not provided in the unit or any units on the property. Hale Mahina property is a truly Hawaiian experience with tropical breezes to serve as natural air conditioning with relaxing ocean waves and healing sea air to rejuvenate wellness. It is a corner unit so there are windows on the side as well as front for a very pleasant air flow with the ceiling fans and additional room fans which are provided. We do understand that this is not a choice for everyone and would encourage guests to choose a different resort property that does provide air conditioning if this is of high priority to them. The listing also shows a queen size bed and pictures support the listing including the decor. We chose an ocean beach vibe with traditional Hawaiian style furniture for a truly local island experience in contrast to commercial resort type accommodations. A professional photographer was hired to provide the photos on our site so guests can very clearly see the Hawaiian style Aloha of this location. Vintage traditional could be “outdated” to some or simply “shabby chic or up-cycled” contemporary to others. We purchased a high end sofa sleeper from a local very reputable and highly respected furniture and decor company in Lahaina. Unfortunately the unit below us recently did some repairs and that possibly created dust, however we contract a professional cleaning company to thoroughly clean before every guests arrival. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings. It is always our desire that all of our guests truly love our tropical vacation home as much as we do and we make every effort to exceed your expectations!

We are so sorry that you were not entirely satisfied with our condo. We have had many guests who have enjoyed having the tables to eat or work at and the additional drawers and storage in the furniture. It is an end unit with the advantage being lots of windows which allows a very nice tropical breeze for comfort. We have only had the unit for a year and have made many improvements; the drapes have not yet been replaced. They do offer insulation from sun and noise when they are closed and are still in good repair. Every one has individual preferences and we have worked very hard to have an “Aloha” décor with all the needed essentials for our guests to enjoy. The pictures shown are very accurate of the décor and furnishings. Our room rates also reflect the same pricing as many of the other beachfront units in the complex. It is only a 1-bedroom unit and we do suggest that it is better suited for 2 people. Please accept our sincere apology if you were disappointed, it is our desire for our guests to enjoy our condo as much as we do.
