Detta rymliga familjhem har ett fantastiskt lÀge i Newport, precis intill den vackra Yaquina Bay Park! Promenera till shopping och restauranger i Nye Beach eller den historiska vikfronten, eller helt enkelt koppla av pÄ ditt privata dÀck och njuta av fri utsikt över havet och parken.

Yaquina House ligger ovanför sanden, med en strandvÀg bara en enkel, kort, plan och stenlagd promenad bort genom parken. Detta avslappnade familjhem Àr rymligt, med 2 100 kvadratmeter som erbjuder gott om utrymme pÄ tre vÄningar för upp till tio gÀster!

Det stora vardagsrummet har ett vÀlvt tak med synliga trÀbjÀlkar och fantastisk utsikt ut mot havet. Ett unikt nedsÀnkt konversationsomrÄde erbjuder mysiga bÀnkplatser runt en fristÄende gasspis.

Köket Àr fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för att laga mat, och det finns en plats för alla i den rymliga matsalen.

Hemmet har fyra sovrum (med tre drottningssÀngar, ett fullt, och en uppsÀttning av tvÄ vÄningssÀngar) och tre fulla bad.

Det finns utomhusdÀck pÄ varje nivÄ i hemmet, och en ramp till huvudnivÄn för dem som inte kan hantera trappor. Hemmet Àr utrustat med höghastighets trÄdlöst internet (plus sex portar för din Ethernet-kabel) och har TV-apparater pÄ alla nivÄer, inklusive tvÄ med videobandspelare och DVD-spelare sÄ att du aldrig behöver hÄlla med om vilken film du ska titta pÄ!

Walls and some spots are collecting dust. Beds, bath kitchen were fine. Some of the pots and pans need to be replaced. Bottom floor has a musty odor. 70’s vibe is cool with the location. View is fantastic. It could use a deep cleaning.

We recently stayed at this home in Newport and wanted to share a few things for future guests to be aware of. First and foremost, there is no direct beach access, despite what the listing states. It's actually a bit of a walk to get to the nearest trail that leads down to the beach. Also, the home directly in front of this one is much more prominent than the photos suggest, which impacts the view and overall sense of privacy.We did appreciate having parking for three vehicles, which was convenient for our group.That said, the house could use some updating and a deep clean. When we arrived, all the towels were still in the dryer, and one of the upstairs bedrooms is completely open to the main living area, which may not be ideal for groups needing privacy. The front door lock was sticky and required some effort to open and close.There were several maintenance issues throughout the home:The middle-level shower leaks and sprays water onto the bathroom ceilingThe downstairs toilet seat is brokenThe fridge and sauna in the downstairs area are quite loudOutlets were hard to find and not very accessibleWe also noticed a musty odor throughout the house, dead bugs, cobwebs, and dust on the walls, particularly in the kitchen, which felt a bit neglected.Overall, the house served its purpose, but with the current condition, we’re not sure we’d choose this property again without some updates and more accurate listing details.

House is very dated and worn. It does have a great view but ocean front it is not There is a large property in front of the house and tho it does not obstruct the view it does negate the ocean front designation Beach access then is a couple of hundred yards away and down a rather steeply stepped access in the state park and then another 100 yard trek over an amazing but challenging dune beach. So we do feel misled by that beachfront statement and are unable to recommend the property

Great location!

We came to Newport to fish out of Yaquina bay and this house was the perfect location, minutes from the port! Access to the ocean is a little bit of a hike, but it was nice being so close to the park and beach.

Sister Trip

Yearly, my sisters, myself and my daughters get together and play tourist. This year we wanted to visit Newport because we love it. This is a house with an amazing view and location. We were right next to a state park with trails down to the ocean. In the other direction, we went to Nye Beach and shopped and ate. We were close to the lighthouse and the aquarium. Loved it!

Thank you for an amazing vacation! Our family enjoyed the coziness of a home setting with a wonderful view of the Oregon beach. It was so nice to awaken in the mornings and have coffee from this peaceful location.

Gorgeous oceanside hideaway

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. It's a unique property with a commanding view of the ocean and an open, airy feeling throughout.

Generally, the home is very comfortable. View from the main room is outstanding. Home was very cold when we first arrived and because of its 3 levels it took a long time to warm up. Plenty of blankets were good. Finding home was a little confusing and could likely be described better since it sets below the line of homes on the street. Overall home could use a remodel - everything was fairly worn. Need soap for showers in all bathrooms as well as hand towels. Towels themselves were "thin"
