There was ants. The neighbour smokes weed. We thought it was supposed to be fully fenced but it wasn’t. The location was nice.

Scott’s retreat. Not up to standard.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Scott’s retreat for 3 nights. We were so excited to take our family away to such a lovely quiet beachside village. From the front looked absolutely perfect. Large front veranda. Lots of seating. Walked inside it was dark. Great it accomodated us all with bedrooms. First disappointment that was very obvious blinds didn’t work and needed a dust.Lounge furniture was absolutely disgusting filthy. Wouldn’t even sit on it. Floor mat has never been cleaned. The kitchen oven and hot plates had a collection of grime from many visitors before us. I physically cleaned the kitchen floor before our weekend could even begin. We were left to start our weekend with quarter roll of toilet tissue, one bin liner, tablespoon of dish liquid. The cleanest room was the laundry outside. This property needs a full professional scrub.

Holiday with family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We all loved the location and quietness of our stay. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the place also the uncomfortable furniture in the lounge room. Didn’t feel comfortable hanging clothes in wardrobes or unpacking everything in the suitcase. Feel they need to be tidied up heaps.

Absolutely beautiful, tranquil and clean

The photos do not do this place justice as it’s so beautiful when you walk in, you will be surprised. This is truly a joyous place, beautifully decorated and homely. Family friendly or just your partner this cottage is simply ideal. We will be back without a doubt!

Great house and plenty of space!

My friends and I have now used Scott's Retreat for the past 2 years and love the place! Only a short walk to the beach and shops. The house has all you need, plenty of rooms, a great veranda to relax and have a beer on. Front/Back yards are massive to keep all our windsurfing gear rigged (3x sails). Easily hold a boat or two! BBQ provided is brilliant, works first time every time! Thanks and I hope to be able to book it again for next year :)
