I gave the property manager and VRBO time to remedy this situation, but they have refused. I want to make it perfectly clear that I cordially tried to handle this for many days. I had to write a letter to the customer service team at Meredith lodging because of how unsatisfactory the BASIC amenities were at this property. To start, There were not enough towels for my guests and I. I took a picture of all the towels that were in the house, which were six bath towels. I had 14 guests in the house, the property said that it would support 14 guests. After 13 different attempts throughout the weekend to try and get more towels, I was treated terribly and put off by everyone I spoke to (Except for Wendy, she is exceptional). I was told verbally and in the VEBO chat multiple times that the towels would be arriving. The towels never arrived and the property management company started to ignore me. Had they been responsive in an appropriate manner I would have let go of everything else that transpired the rest of the weekend. But instead I documented every negative detail with pictures and videos. The review section does not give me enough characters to be fully transparent. But this was only the beginning. I want to warn anybody that plans to come to this property with a big group that it is beautiful, but your experience may not be as described. I hope if anything, this review is a warning to those considering renting a house from a property managed by Meredith Lodging.

Ladies Beach Trip

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The house was comfortable and views are amazing! I would like to suggest the kitchen supplies be revamped. I think overtime things have been lost or broken. Chalk for the pool cues would've been nice too.

View spectacular!

As stated in the title - the view was great and we had the pleasure watching whales every day! However there were many repairs that need to be done on this house. A drawer in the refrigerator was broken. The nozzle on the sink would only spray. The light in the oven was out. The microwave above the stove was broken. There was no directions onhow to make tvs work. The dishwasher did not wash or dry dishes well. I just feel when you spend this kind of money - things should be in proper working order. I did call property management on Sunday and they responded the next morning. He was able to help us out with the tvsand fixed the blown circuit. Enjoyed the great location!

Amazing Views-great for family

Great place to stay with family. Good layout for get togethers. The ocean views are breathtaking. Hot tub was a plus. Walk to beach is a little hike with gear. Clean, tidy, and well appointed.

Pleasant Stay

This unusual property was an interesting place to stay. The view is fantastic, and getting to the beach isn't terribly difficult. It was well-equipped with linens and cooking supplies. My only suggestion would be to replace the dishwasher. It is very slow and doesn't do an adequate job of cleaning and drying the dishes.

Nice ocean view

We had to rewash some dishes, microwave kept blowing circuit brakers, Downstairs bedroom bed was full of debris in a made bed, had problems with television. Someone from property management did replace microwave and helped with television. The coffee cups with the birds on them are not microwave safe. someone in our party put their coffee cup in microwave for about 20 seconds and got an instant blister on her fingers. It says its microwave safe, but it clearly wasn't.

Family trip to the beach.

The house is in a great location with easy access to the beach and shops! The perfect ocean view and place to relax with the family. The house does have lots of slippery wood stairs so hard with kids under two. The master bed was comfortable but the rest of the beds were not. Beautifully decorated but the TV/entertainment center is difficult to use if interested. Also make sure to bring your own wine glasses. Lots of coffee cups but no wine glasses.

Wonderful family stay

We appreciated all the many details that make the home unique but most especially the view! Unfortunately, some of the blinds were closed and we couldn’t figure out how to get them open so we didn’t get the full effect of the fabulous wall of windows, but we still enjoyed the view. As a raven -lover I especially appreciated the raven room! We tried to identify all the many different types of birds represented around the house. If there’s anything I’d suggest it would be to have more wine glasses on hand and maybe some coffee. But we managed just fine. The kids especially loved the pool table upstairs. Lots of good cousin time. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful home with great ocean view

We had a wonderful time staying at the property. It is a beautiful home with incredible artistic decor that we instantly loved. The view of the ocean was fantastic. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need and then some. And the game space was perfect for our kids! One disappointment was that the hot tub was not working and was not usable. Even though it states that they try their best to keep it running but no guarantees, it was very disappointing as this was one of the main reasons we chose this house and the first photo you see on the site is of the view from the hot tub. I even asked the contact person if it was up and running before pur stay if it was working and was told it was. We did message the company about the non working hot tub and the non working electonoc drapes and they did respond that they would let maintanance know and get them out to look at it. However that dod not happen during our stay. The upstairs beds were super comfortable and the master shower was roomy and had great water pressure. Our friends did mention that the downstairs beds were ok but could be better. Over all, we loved this place and had a fantastic time even while the weather was nasty! Anyone staying here will feel special and enjoy an amazing view from the livingeroom and deck. We hope to return again with our loved ones!

Beautiful place! Great stay!

Beautiful place, in a great neighborhood. Parking is very limited, which the listing isn't up front about. Other than that small complaint, I requested an early check-in that didn't get processed. But it was quickly fixed with a phone call upon arrival. Overall, the house and stay were great! Would definitely stay again.

Okay stay for family

Although facing the ocean and with a beautiful view, the house sits at least couple hundred feet above the ocean, and therefore no direct beach access. The layout was okay, but the three bedroom downstairs shared one bathroom making it challenging for a large family. The internet wasn't working when we arrived, but the management promptly addressed that the following day. The TV did not have a Netflix/AppleTV, etc hookups as do many similar priced rentals at other locations we have stayed at. The pool table cues sticks were all missing their tips making it virtually impossible to play a good game. The dishwasher wasn't working properly and we had to wash all the dishes by hand. There was no air-conditioning and the main floor was uncomfortable during the daytime unless you kept the blinds shut (still remained hot) which defeated the purpose of the view. Location was okay with beach access 0.5 miles away (steep road). Overall layout was okay, amenities were okay.
