Leeward Cove Cottage är en två våningar första våningen vid vattnet som är en fantastisk plats för helgen eller i några månader! Detta lilla men vänliga komplex har allt. Du är bara en kort promenad från stranden men du har också en bra brygga att fiska från och båtlipor tillgängliga efter första tillbehör. Det finns också en pool som är precis rätt storlek för detta komplex som är sant dold pärla på vår ö.

INTERIÖR
Enheten har ett välutrustat kök och handdukar och sängkläder tillhandahålls. Moderna bekvämligheter som en Blu-ray DVD-spelare och gratis WiFi finns också tillgängliga. Nedervåningen är kök vardagsrum och matplatser samt ett komplett badrum och tvättmaskin och torktumlare. De två sovrummen ligger båda på övervåningen och de delar ett halvt badrum. Ett sovrum har en ny bekväm king size-säng och andra är inredda med queen size-säng. Det finns också queen size-bäddsoffa för ytterligare två gäster att sova på.
Det kommer också med moderna uppdateringar som USB-laddningskontakter i sovrum och kök bar område och Smart TV med Roku och tillgång till HULU, Netflix, Amazon etc.
Missa inte den här mysiga två sovrumsenheten till ett bra pris!

Vacation rental

A wonderful "winter Texan" retreat:)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've rented at this condo for several winters and enjoyed the management. They replaced a blender that died promptly and had HVAC service over immediately to remedy the air conditioner that had issues. The sofa is pretty soft and the cabinetry could be updated but we had a new washer and drier this year. The unit is only a short walk to the beach which we enjoyed almost daily. The opening of the Don Patricio channel should offer more fish moving into the unit's "back yard". The sunsets are awesome from the deck!!! The permanent residents in the neighboring units are very friendly. We were invited to their Fat Tuesday party again this winter. And Peter has been become my buddy...probably because I always have a doggy treat for him. We've already booked one of the units in the condo again for next winter:)

Issues with neighbors

The condo itself was clean and as expected for the price point. However, the listing didn’t include the HOA rules about no children under 14 ever allowed in the hot tub. We found out upon arrival after the HOA president immediately scolded us before our kids even had so much as their feet in the water. We were alone in the pool area, not interrupting anyone. She came from across the courtyard to confront us. She was not pleasant, and later made comments to other permanent residents about how she disliked renters in front of us while smoking cigarettes with her dog off leash in the common area (two violations of her own rules). We did not feel welcome. Padre escapes listened to our complaint and promised to update the listing, although, we were told the HOA rules have been in place for several years. Being that we stayed in the condo over a holiday, we weren’t able to resolve the issue during our stay. I don’t blame Padre Escapes for that, but staying on those conditions ruined the trip.

Recommend this cottage. Great location.

Enjoyed our stay in this cottage. We got enjoy fishing on the pier at night and the beach during the day. This cottage is just a few minutes drive to the beach. Great location and will definitely go back!

Great little place on a canal near the beach

This is a double row of condos with a pool in between and a dock on the canal at the end. The bedrooms are upstairs with kitchen/living room area downstairs. Shower/bath is downstairs as well. It is pretty close to the Michael J. Ellis beach--close enough for me to walk the dogs there in the mornings. It had everything we needed and the management is incredibly responsive and helpful. It is billed as pet friendly, but just be aware that any HOA rules that apply to pets are strictly enforced. You can also contact the management for other pet friendly properties.

Reviewer Comments: Check-in/check-out was easy breezy, property was clean and just as described, dog area was tiny, mattresses were very firm, a convenient short drive to beaches and restaurants, view of sunsets off the docks was beautiful, catch and release fishing was plentiful enough for the kids with proper bait (we used dead shrimp with much success but *again*we weren’t fishing for whoppers or anything, just fun for the kids), other comments about the “local” residents had us cautious but we kept to ourselves and were respectful and cleaned up after our dogs without letting them bark and we had no trouble with the residents. Overall, this was an excellent experience and would recommend!

So So Rental, not worth the price

It also was not as clean as you would think, with the cleaning fees that are charged. the picture of the water is kind of deceiving, there are only two pier/decks for the complex.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd year staying at this complex and we all ways love it. This year was a little different. The people that live in the other units at this location seemed to be bothered. They made it very clear they didn't want the vacation stays there. There is 4 units that had permanents residents, and they made it very clear that we were not welcomed. Other than that we love the locations and amenities of this stay but unfortunately we will not return.

Unfortunately we won’t be staying here again due to the rude full time residents. We were confronted by 2 different residents complaining about our dog barking even tho our neighbors were home all day and never heard her. Another time was at 7am when we were all asleep (including the dog). These people sit outside and smoke constantly making the pool area unenjoyable. I was constantly on edge about what they would say to us next. It is clear they do not want vacationers in their “territory”.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying at the Leeward Cove property. The location was great. We loved the ability to fish off the back decks. The condo was clean and nice. The pool was nice and not as crowded as other properties. It was convenient to the beach and other attractions. We love bringing our dogs, so pet friendly is alwasy a plus. We did have a problem with check in this time. We have stayed with Padre Escapes many times and never had issues. We were waiting outside the property a few minutes before 4 which was guaranteed check in time. We reached out and the management said we would be in by 4 but it still needed to be inspected. We waited and saw a staff member show up and leave. We waited several more minutes to get our check in instructions and finally had access to the unit around 4:45 pm. I feel like they forgot about our reservation and had to hurry to get the property ready.

Perfect location!!! 😃 💯 🐚🦐🏖🌊🦀🐠🦈🐟🎣

This location was absolutely perfect...!!! It felt like home & we didn't want to leave! The unit was right across from the pool/ hottub & faced South, so it received good light. It was only a few steps from the Canal & dock, great for fishing! And only 2 blocks from White Cap beach (8-10 minute walk or 1 minute by vehicle)! There were 2 strong storms while there & pool maintainance came the next morning to clean the pool & hottub, both days. The neighborhood is quiet & safe; and the live-in tenets were friendly, talkative & respectful! We found many fishing buddies while there. They were pet friendly & other vacationers/tenets had dogs as well. The internet was very fast & TV had built in apps. The couch/bed was comfey. The other mattresses could have been better because they were springs. They could be replaced with a mattress like purple, Temperpedic, or Avocado. I did have to do some cleaning, especially of dust on surfaces & behind TV and the stove top/knobs, when arriving. The fabric seats were very dingey & need a professional cleaning. The furniture/decorations were very beachy & cute. The spring chair was a little dangerous, as it tipped over when we leaned back in it! The kitchen accommodations were good. They provided lots of cooking items, but could have been of better quality. *The dishwasher didn't work & was not fixed during our visit, so we had to hand wash everything. The property company was made aware. Linens were nice & fresh & we were given ample towels. The washer & dryer worked, but it was very loud (think it needs a tune up), but happy to have one! We will definitely come back to this location! Thank you to the owners & VRBO.
