Mountain Thunder Lodge är ett av de mest lyxiga lägenheter i Breckenridge och på stor plats. Inbäddat i tallar bara ett par kvarter från Main Street där alla restauranger och shopping ligger. För skidåkare, är lodge ski in och ski out via gondol som är bara ut bakvägen ca 200 varv. Gondolen ger snabb och enkel åtkomst från lägenheten till hjärtat av skidområdet vid baserna av Peak 7 och Peak 8 där du hittar på berget restauranger, skidskolor, uthyrning, etc, och flera andra hissar inklusive Independence Superchair , Rocky Mountain Superchair och Colorado Superchair.

Sviten ligger på andra våningen i syster bygga till den huvudsakliga lodge. Det är mot väster som är motsatsen till vägen för att ge dig lugn och ro. Poolen är bara några steg bort med utsikt över det från din balkong. Din privata utrustning skåp är på fisrt våningen bara några steg bort.

Breckenridge Condo

From the minute, we walked in we knew we liked our condo! The management company was exceptionally helpful! The hot tub and pool were well-maintained. Very convenient to Town and a few options for getting on the slopes. A short walk to the gondola or just go out front and catch the bus that comes every 15 minutes! The kind of itself was very well appointed and it was really nice to have a porch overlooking the pool.

Lovely unit

This is a very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated 1-bedroom condo. Everything worked and there were a few touches that were above expectations (sharp knives for cooking!). I take issue with the description of ski-in/ski-out: ski-in is pretty close, maybe a 50-yard walk from the trail end. There is no ski out. It's a walk to the Gondola, going down 2 full flights of stairs to the tunnel under the street, and 2 flights back up on the other side of the street. Then it's the equivalent of a 2 block walk to the gondola. I used the ski check at the base of Peak 8 so I wouldn't have to make the slog each morning. The washer/dryer is not in the unit proper, it's across the hall.

Great place, but prepare for a few inconveniences

Accurate listing, the place is furnished nicely and comfortably (we liked the bear theme throughout). The location is quiet as is the room itself, we barely heard anybody else.The gondola and Breckenridge Station are a few minutes walk through an underpass, convenient to get on the mountain and to the shuttles to other mountains. Main Street is about the same distance, everything is very walkable, no car needed. The only downside is the friction between the third-party management company for the apartment and Mountain Thunder Lodge staff. Keys have to be picked up off-site, and front-desk refuses to do anything since they don’t manage the apartment. That means no luggage storage, and to get access to the ski locker we had to call the management company who in turn called maintenance for us. They also ask you to clean up and take out the trash before departure. Otherwise we had a great stay and can highly recommended this place.

We had a great stay. Great ski in location, short walk to gondola and also to downtown Breckenridge. Also enjoyed the ski themed decor of the condo. Underground parking was nice too. Thanks again.

Excellent Location

This unit was very clean and comfortable. It is located within walking distance of downtown, the gondola, and the bus stop. Check in/check out could not have been any easier.

Great family stay

Great experience all around. We had our family and we met 3 other families. We stayed in 2 different buildings. All easily accessible to all amenities. The kids were sledding out back of the main building in the evenings. No cars to worry about. This was into the ski in trail. Weather was beautiful. Will do it again next year. Also the gondola access was close. We could walk under the highway to the parking lot.

Great location and Wonderful Unit

This property is about a five minute walk to the gondola and within walking distance of most of the bars and restaurants in downtown Breckenridge. The unit is well maintained and has a cabin vibe. We also enjoyed using the hot tub. It was also nice to have an elevator after a long day of skiing. Although it is not truly ski and ski out, I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Steps away from the mountain!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Mountain Thunder Lodge. We were a short walk to the main street and steps away from the Gondola. The unit was spacious and stocked with all kitchen amenities. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nice property

Very nice place in a great location. The only improvement I would recommend is the TV. There was no ability to stream and the DISH service wasn’t working.

Breckenridge Fun!

This was a beautiful condo, clean, well stocked, and centrally located to town. We never even moved our car as you can walk to everything. Lovely downtown shopping area, good restaurants, and free gondola up to the base of Peak 8. We would definitely stay here again. Can't beat the location.

Great location, a block from Main St

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, enjoyed the pool & hot tub! The unit does warm up during the day even with windows open so glad 2 fans were available! Also nice having the washer & dryer a few steps away!
