Halpern House

Halpern House är en härlig 3BD / 2. 5BA, husdjursvänlig (endast 1 husdjur), havsutsikt hem i en privat grannskap i Seal Rock med fantastisk utsikt över Stilla havet från vardagsrum och matplatser, och från bakdäck som löper bredden av huset. Den är byggd i "omvänd livsstil", för att maximera den fantastiska utsikten! Alla sovrum är på huvudnivån och de viktigaste vardagsrummen är på övervåningen. Välvda tak och många fönster ger massor av ljus! Detta hem är underbart för en större familj eller flera par, eller reträtt. Köket är bra för underhållande och är öppet för vardagsrum och matplats. Downstairs master har en dusch i master bad. De två gästrummen har ett badrum att dela. Hemmet har en stig som leder till en fantastisk strand! Du kommer att njuta av den vackra privata stranden och strandfåglar och kan till och med gå till Seal Rock när tidvattnet är ute!

Charming house with great ocean views.

We loved our short stay at this property. The home was charming and very comfortable. The ocean views from the deck were amazing. Only regret is that we did not stay longer. We will definitely plan to stay there on our next trip.

Excellent Vacation House

Large house for our family of 5. Easy access to beach. Partially obstructed beach view but you can still watch the sun set from the porch. We liked all the books and games to look through.

A home away from home

Wonderful Setting

The home was very nice. Very spacious. The location was great. Close to Seal Rock, Newport and Waldport. The crown jewel was the beach. Just a short walk to the tide pools south of Seal Rock. We enjoyed staying there very much.

Beautiful home, easy walk down to a lovely beach

We just stayed one night but would gladly go back on another trip. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the board games and cooking a meal. Nice to have laundry and two showers. Thanks for sharing your lovely beach home!

Fun Stay at the Coast

Lovely place and we enjoyed our stay. Spacious house and well stocked kitchen. However, the listing and pictures include a hot tub on the deck which is NOT there. Misleading, took swimsuits for nothing.

Would recommend to family and friends

Nice house. Great location. Easy access to beach. Only gave 4 stars for cleanliness due to cobwebs on very high valted ceilings. Only other issue was wall of windows on top floor made it pretty warm, but breeze from open windows cooled it down to tollerable temps. Would stay at this house again and would recommend to friends and family. Property management agency is local to the area and easy to get ahold when needed(reponded timely for the two questions we had).

Idyllic Beach, Lots of Stairs

Recently vacationed at Halpern House with my sister, her beach dog, and my 12-year-old kid. We loved every minute of our trip, especially the quiet, practically deserted beach. We would definitely come back, unless we travel with my parents - too many stairs for them, I’m afraid.

Beach retreat

We’ve stayed at this location several times. We were informed on the way to the rental that the dishwasher had broken, and then charged for not washing the by hand and they gave no credit for the defective property. We had to spot clean the carpet n arrival due to stains on the carpet. The carpet is white and in poor shape. It’s a good location but the aging home is not well maintained and we will not be using it again due to the poor service.

The house is in a great location. The kitchen was adequately stocked. Just a heads up: there are basically three flights of stairs to this home .the furnishings are dated but comfortable. The house was nice a clean.

Wonderful home close to the beach

We had a great short stay in this home. The two rooms with twin beds were perfect for staying with our young kids. The house was clean and had basic supplies. The best was the beach! A small private path down to the beach was easy to access (though as the listing mentions, the stairs are a bit steep). The beach was almost empty the entire time we were there. Close to Newport for groceries and outings!

Winter Coast Weekend with Friends

I love visiting the Oregon coast in the winter/off season and like to stay a few nights so I can get out of the elements if needed. It was nice to be so close to the beach and also have views of the ocean from the house. The beach was never crowded and sometimes empty - such a treat! I also enjoyed staying in a house for the convenience (e.g., the kitchen) so we could park our cars and not get back in them until it was time to leave.

The staff at Meredith Lodging were great to communicate with.

We were worried about the stairs. But it actually was good exercise for 87 yr old mom. It was great being able to take our dog, no fenced yard, but beach access was close. Was nice having games and puzzles available to play also. And access to washer and drier. And parking inside the garage

Beautiful vacation home

Home was very clean, well stocked, pretty good location, although close to 101 not much noise from road, good ocean noise, the only thing we found negative (because of our age) it is 3 stories with kitchen & living where most things had to be carried on top floor, a bit much for people in 80's, otherwise great! Wonderful entry system too, no fumbling! Thanks!!

Family Gathering.

Beautiful open large space for family gathering was perfect. Kitchen well equipped. Be warned for any elderly/ infirm there is a lot of stairs! Bedrooms comfortable and spacious. Not a easy beach access, again a lot of stairs. If stairs are not a problem it was a great house!

A lovely home

I’m used to very minimal decorations in rentals (if any at all), so it was very unexpected to see that this rental was decorated like a real family home. It was so comfortable and warm, very inviting, and I loved looking at all the cute decorations and what looked like homemade crafts. The kitchen was very well equipped, lots of games were available to play (we played scrabble!), and there were a lot of movies and music for entertainment. The deck was such a lovely place to sit, star gazing and listening to the ocean.
