Endless Ocean View

We go to the Oregon Coast every September. We were going to return to the same house that we stayed in last year but it wasn't available by the time we had a final head count. Turned out to be a blessing because this was place was absolutely fabulous...a short walk to the beach, a magnificent deck almost on top of the ocean, well-equipped kitchen, buckets for our toddler grandson and a fenced in courtyard for play, and falling asleep to the sounds of the sea. We will be back.

Fabulous beach house.

We had the best time . The house is darling and fantastic furnishings, very beachy and super clean. We ate crab every day and enjoyed the incoming storm. The 180 degree view is breathtaking. Beds are very comfortable and having a fireplace is a plus for cold mornings Definitely coming back

My new favorite Beach House

We absolutely loved this Ocean Front home in Roads End. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we were awed by the view and the home itself. It looked like it was straight out of a magazine and it was well appointed and fully stocked for our every need. We also found it to be very affordable and plan to book our summer vacation there soon.

Could not have been better!

Gorgeous views of the ocean from every window of this well-appointed house, with comfortable and stylish furniture throughout, well-equipped kitchen, gated front patio with grill, and easy beach access. Plenty of space for our party of eight adults and easy to navigate for two elderly parents. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and only wish we could have had stayed longer!

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful, but in my opinion, significantly overpriced. Although we really enjoyed the view, we have had great views from other really nice properties for about half the price. The customer service was great and check in was easy. One note for upcoming visitors, although I asked about a coffee pot I was told there was only a Kurig, but there is a regular coffee pot as well. The kitchen is well stocked.

Lovely Beach Home

The house was perfect for our group of 6 and beautifully decorated. Our stay was wonderful with the exception of being notified several hours before our check-in that the dishwasher was broken and it would be replaced during our week’s stay. We were disappointed that we received no calls back from property mgr after multiple inquiries asking about the new dishwasher. No credit was offered either as we were told that a dishwasher was an amenity and excluded from any credit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. With a family members cancer diagnosis in October of 2016 we were able to return to the beach once again and celebrate their birthday this visit. This house will forever be in our memories. This house is beautiful. Anyone who stays here please respect this property so when I come back it will still be beautiful. A few things that future guests might want to know: There is only a Keurig coffee maker ~ this kitchen has it all ~ beds were all comfortable ~ there is an occasional rattling pipe noise close to the fridge. We concluded it must have something to do with water pressure. This is a gem and Meredith Lodging LLC make sure you keep this house a gem!! Thanks to the owners, you have great taste !!

Good but too pricy

This property was OK and too pricey in our opinion and had severe faults including some SAFETY HAZARDS. The view is amazing, no doubt as the property is right on the water, but several things in the property were not working well for us as described here. Also, there is no direct beach access from the property, you have to take a short walk down a few houses and a rocky pathway ramp before you get to the beach. 1) For starters, there was a musty smell throughout the house 2) Dishwasher was stinking and we had to run an empty cycle just to get the smell out before we could put any dishes in 3) Dishes also had a "water retained" smell and had to be pre-washed before use 4) The jack and Jill bathroom upstairs was pretty useless as the barn door kept failing off the rails and would not close completely, so our entire family of 9 members had only 1 functional bathroom to use through our stay. 5) The bunk bed room was towards the outside door and we did not feel safe housing kids on those beds 6) Stairways were slippery because the carpet had worn off. Two of my family members slipped walking down those stairs.

Family Reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this week. The house perfectly accommodated a family of 8. We loved how close it was to the beach, and a short drive to town. Highly recommend Kylo's for lunch or dinner if you are seeking a meal out. We will miss the magical sunsets from the deck. We will definitely return!

Great property, great location, great memories

Check in was easy. Communication was great. It is a beautiful spot inside and out. The kitchen is very well stocked, making cooking a breeze. We enjoyed sunset and s’mores on the beach and watching the waves from bed. My kid’s already want to return.

Amazing view, clean, modern, bright

The view can't be beat, 180 degrees of direct ocean view from about 15 feet above the sand so you have some height/distance. Getting to the beach is super easy just a couple of houses south there's a public path. The entire house seemed very clean, which is definitely something we notice and appreciate. Very light and bright, modern/newish furniture and decor, really nice place to be all day when the weather is bad. Nice modern kitchen, amazing laundry room, plenty of parking, and you don't even notice the road once you are inside the house. There were only 3 of us so we didn't all the bedrooms, but there is lots of space if you had a larger group. Nice TV with access to streaming services. We used wi-fi the whole time and it was good.
