Wonderful weekend stay!

We had the best time celebrating the weekend with a group of 12! We rented both unit is and it was spacious, clean and conveniently located to the beach. We were greeted by Rollo when we arrived who showed us around the house and gave us some tips for things in the area. I would highly reccomend this location or any of their properties

This house was perfectly cozy for our family vacation! We loved how close it was to the beach and yummy food. Our favorite feature was the beautiful tree in the front yard that provided shade all day so we could enjoy the patio and California weather no matter the temperature! We made lots of memories playing games under the tree! We would absolutely stay here again, the hosts were fabulous and wonderful to work with!! Thanks Rich and Sheryl!

Perfect property for a large group. Property has everything you could possibly need for a beach vacay.so nice to be able to bring a smaller car because beach chairs and umbrellas snd bikes were included. Host was helpful and friendly. Beach was just a hop skip and a jump-shopping a bike ride away. Highly recommend.

Recommend house!

Our family rented both floors of this house and found it comfortable, well supplied, conveniently located, and clean. Manager Rich was very helpful in getting us checked in and oriented. Garage is typical for this area—tight to get into even with a small car. But we found some nearby street parking.

Perfect location and cute property

As a family of 8 adults and 4 kids (all between the ages of 1-6), this location and property was perfect. We rented the upper and lower unit. The upper units had air conditioning, while the lower did not, although many fans are there just incase. We’ve never gone to the beach so much! Because of the location, we were able to immediately wake up and go to the beach, come back for breakfast, go back to the beach, the. Come back for lunch and naps, then go back before dinner. Kids and adults enjoyed it. We loved being able to sit outside together in the cool weather. Property itself had everything needed and easy to find. Couldn’t thank the property manager enough for all the support and communication. The most challenging was parking, but easy enough if you have patience and willing to walk. All expected for the location. Amazing! And thank you.

Great location! Perfect for families

Property managers were great, quickly addressed any issues. Units were perfect for our families and had plenty of bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and sand toys for everyone!

Great place by the beach and clean

We rented both the top and bottom and loved our stay. It was just down the street from the beach and very clean. Bikes and beach toys were a nice extra and lots of fun. Thanks Sheryl and Richard for a great stay.

Christmas

House was clean and beds were comfortable! House is close to beach, bike path, grocery store, and restaurants. Communication with the hosts was a nice touch. Rollo met us upon arrival to walk the place and offer insight during our stay, and we rcvd a text from Sheryl a couple days in just to make sure we were comfortable and if there was anything that needed attention. Neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location ~ super clean~ great patio

This is the best beach house we’ve stayed at! We usually are one house from the beach but this house is such a short walk it did t matter at all! Rollo was great getting us checked in. The bikes were so much fun And there were plenty of towels and linens. We are a big family and we’re all comfortable. Thanks Sheryl and Richard and happitravels!!!!! We highly recommend this place!!!!

Fun location and good but not great for Lei-Out

The property has a great location, few minute walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to the Lei-out fields, and very bikeable if people prefer that. Slept plenty of people, but we didnt use the pullout beds and sleeping on the couches were easier. Couple food sports are very close as well. The property managers where very quick to respond to any messages. The houses are very close together and some of the neighbors are not friendly at all. Had a neighbor bash on the door late in the evening because we were playing board games to loud, and she was swearing so fast no one could even say sorry to her for being to loud. She then called the managers who needed me to be woken up because the people already awake after the tirade did not book the place, even though they did check in to it. This is the first time anything like this happen to us despite playing many tournament around the country. Overall I would recommend this to small to medium size families but not to wedding parties or anyone that might be social past 1:30-02:00 am.

Louis and his group were here for 2 days. They came to our house to party. It specifically states in our rental agreement that there is no parties or loud gatherings allowed at all. You broke the house rules and were very disrespectful. The fact that the neighbor had to be woken up at 4 am because of your yelling and screaming. That is unbelievable! There were drinks spilled everywhere. When the property manager was called and had to go over at 4am yes the person who rents the house is responsible for the other guests and their actions. I would never recommend this guest to any other host nor would I welcome him back.

Lovely California Beach House

Spent our family reunion on Balboa Island in November. It was a charming location to feed and house 11 adults and 3 kids. One block from the beach and a short drive from many attractions which gave us endless recreational opportunities. There were a couple of minor circumstances that required contact with Sheryl (the property manager) as well as the owner; they had prompt replies and rapid solutions. They ensured that our time was not spoiled by any issue. Thank you everyone at HappiTravels for making our vacation special!

The vacation rental that has everything

We have stayed with HappiTravels before but in different properties. On that basis, our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. The apartment was comfort itself in every respect. The outside patio featured in the photography is a lovely amenity: always cool. What the photo doesn't show is an interior courtyard : just what is needed when one prefers privacy. One of the unusual features of HappiTravels rentals is that they have all the beach equipment + bicycles. You are never bored when you stay. Rollo helps you settle in and answers any questions that might arise: quite terrific. There is a variety of good quality restaurants within a five minute walk, a supermarket at about 10 minutes walk, and the beach, of course, is just at the end of the street; and then a short nine blocks down you can get on the boardwalk to take you to the pier. We plan on future visits and recommend not just this particular rentals but other HappiTravels rentals unreservedly. We have had wonderful times in the past and look forward to more in the future.

Fantastic Location and House In Newport

My family of nine spent a week in the upper and lower unit of this house. What a great time we had. Only a few seconds to an amazing beach and walking distance to stores and restaurants. Michelle and Rollo were so easy to work with. Rollo walked us through the entire house showing us how everything worked. The house has everything you need. I will rent from Michelle again. I strongly recommend the house!

Great for big families!

We loved your property in Newport Beach. The property accommodated our very large extended family. Everything in the home worked and it was thoughtfully stocked with essentials. Very close to beach and amusement parks!

The best beach family reunion ever!

We stayed for the sixth time at HappiTravels and had a family reunion. We want to come back to rent all six properties and have more family enjoy Newport Beach! These properties are in such a great location. The beach is steps from our front door and we see dolphins almost every morning. It is so clean and Michelle, Rollo and the HappiTravels family take such good care of us! Also we were so happy to see the addition of a dishwasher and beautiful new shower in the lower unit! This will be a yearly vacation for us!

Great Vacation Spot

We rented both the upper and lower units of this property for a family vacation. The location was perfect and house very comfortable. Michelle was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Rollo was a great source of information and made sure we had every question answered about the house and all the things to do in Newport Beach! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
