Wonderful Place in Southport

We were in town for our daughter 's wedding and this was the perfect place to stay! Very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked and lots of extras were left in pantry for guests to use. Great bedrooms/baths!

Perfect house for family

My family and I were very impressed with how well the house was stocked. It was as if we were home! The kitchen had everything you needed, even children cups and utensils. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was perfect to walk to town. We got through a terrible tropical storm with no issues. Would definitely come back again

In for a wedding

We had come in for a good friends wedding and it was wonderful to be able to stay and spend time with our adult kids all together. The house had everything we needed and was so relaxing just like being at home. If was a short walk downtown and down to the pier area was quite and peaceful. House was very well decorated and very clean.

Wedding Delight

My family and I stayed in the house during Labor Day weekend 2023. I was married on 9/2/23 at the Fort Johnson house. The location of this rental house was perfect for walking to the marina and various restaurants. The house was very clean and a nice front porch for relaxing.

We loved the house, but the twin beds were shown as bunk beds online. Pictures need to be updated. Additionally, there was a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig. We were told there was only a Keurig so we brought our own coffee maker.

Family vacation

The location was great, easy walking distance to the water, marina, and plenty of excellent restaurants. Easy check in and out, had no issues or complaints with anything. Pool is just a short walk away. Parking was adequate but kind of tight. Share a narrow driveway with a neighbor and can be tight to get in and out if you have a bigger car. Living room and master bedroom have tvs. Plenty of beach toys provided in the house can in very useful, but need to bring your own beach towels. All in all, enjoyed our stay. Nice, relaxing vacation and the rocking chairs on the porch were a great way to wind down the day.

Amazing Location

We stayed here so we could take out our new boat that is at SPT Marina. This location is super fun and out of the way of the busy SPT. You can walk to Fishy Fishy and find fun and then come back to the front porch of peace and quiet and have your favorite beverage. This house seems huge, the way it is set up. Loved it!!

Quaint little place

Wife and mother in-law enjoyed the trip and house. Great location for a walk for coffee, lunch or dinner. All the neighbors were gone most of the week, which made for a good trip with the dogs.

Nice from far Far from nice

First time in Southport. Loved the the town. The house was awful. The photos are not accurate. The home is not comfortable at all. The couches are old, lumpy and smell. In fact the home itself smelled of old cooking oil. The beds were old and the synthetic sheets disgusting. The pillows were a hodge podge of old and lumpy. the knives in the kitchen were rusty! The wood floors were filthy my socks told the story. The blinds are plastic and full of dust. Parking is challenging. In the end, pick another rental.

Southport Wedding for my son!

We stayed in Southport from Tuesday thru Sunday in October for my son's wedding. The house was perfect for 8 of us to stay. The only thing not clear in the listing was the parking. There's only two parking spots available for the house, but there were some guests spots in the circle. So, we took advantage of that. The house was perfect for our needs and it was walkable to the restaurants down on the water. Thank you!

Wedding in Southport

This property is exactly how it is represented on VRBO..The location was PERFECT!!! Visited Southport for my nieces wedding and it was absolutely perfect for our family. My elderly parents stayed on the first floor which was perfect for people who cannot navigate steps. The home was nicely appointed, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great Place to Stay!

We were in Southport for our son's wedding, and this was a great place to stay! We had 7 adults in the home and all of has plenty of space to get ready for the wedding, relax and hangout together. The primary bedroom upstairs was awesome - comfortable bed, and private bath. The place was clean, and all around comfortable, and within walking distance to the restaurants & bars. We rented a golf cart to get around town and I would recommend that to anyone looking to stay. We had a fabulous time, would definitly stay here again!

Awesome Location

Loved the quiet neighborhood. It was a short walk to shopping and events going on for July 4th weekend. We really enjoyed the beautiful house. It was spacious and we had plenty of room. Couches need updating but everything else was awesome.

Simple and Sweet

We started a new Easter Tradition gathering all of our children together for the holiday weekend. Beautiful and clean. Plenty of space and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only thing that could be improved in our opinion would be having TV's in every room. We had a several babies and only a TV in the master bedroom and livingroom.

Beautiful location and clean!

What an easy transaction with Southport Realty! Not many places do we go we feel is clean enough, but this place, wow, we didn't feel the need to wash the dishes before we used them! It was immaculate upone arrival. Great location to everything, and will most likely return! Awesome experience.
