Extremely dirty place. Not fit to host anyone!

The place has no working kitchen, bedroom or closet! The dishwasher is old and broken! The fridge has rotting stuff in it and it did not have a single closet that a guest could use. They are all full of hosts stuff. VRBO should ban this place and it’s host! Has to move out with family in the middle of our stay

Great Graduation Weekend

Jay was a great host from the start with restaurant recommendations and flexibility around checkin/checkout. The location was convenient to Belmont. Perfect for our needs!

Cozy and Convenient!

Jay is super communicative and absolutely the host. We were in town for a friends wedding and it was conveniently located to where we never had to go far for any destination. Perfect amount of space for our group. And I have to mention how beautiful the backyard is! I would definition this place again.

Great stay, flexible host

Place was clean and location was good. Jay let us check-in early and check-out a little late which was super nice. Only improvement would have been if the bathrooms has basic toiletries (shampoo, body wash).

This property was not very clean. In one bedroom the sheets were not clean. We had to wash them before anyone could sleep in the bed. The screened in porch was so dirty we had to clean it before we could sit outside. We were unable to use the grill because it was full of bugs & cobwebs. The kitchen cabinets were dirty and the refrigerator was full of the food belonging to the owner. We would have left but became of an event in Nashville we really had no choice but to stay. I would definitely not recommend this property!!!

The home is well located in a cozy community. It was evident that the home is the owner's primary residence., with can give an odd feeling of sleeping in a strangers home. The biggest feedback for improvement is cleanliness. Could use a hard scrub down. Could tell the window screen where never opened. Plus was the back porch, deck. And the proprietor was very friendly and accommodating witch goes a long was in my book.

Convenient and good location for family visit

Our host Jay was very helpful and communicated several times before we came. We chose this home as it was near our family. Being with them for the first time since Christmas 2019 was the reason we were visiting Nashville. We were able to use the home to have some family over for meals bought from local restaurants and spend time together in a nice dining room designed for comfortable conversation as well as eating. The kitchen is well suited for reheating meals in the microwave and simple meal preparation. The host has many personal items throughout the home, so we did want to be respectful not to disrupt them. Jay was careful to leave notes that walked us through things such as a shower head that only needs the slightest adjustment for best temperature and flow. Check out was the easiest we have ever experienced.

Nice Home in Very safe neighborhood.

Jay’s home is nice and even though we were in Downtown Nashville most of the time for our stay, it was nice to have a place to come home to that was in a really nice neighborhood. Our dogs really enjoyed Jay’s fenced in backyard. All in all we had a great time in Nashville and staying at Jay’s home. Jay communicated with me after I booked his place and I spoke with him on Thursday evening before our arrival on Friday afternoon. Jay was nice enough to give my daughter and son-in law a quick tour of his home when they arrived to check in. Thanks again Jay for hospitality!

It was a nice house in a great neighborhood. We had our dogs so the backyard was awesome. The only thing that was unusual to us, was all of the personal belongings around the house. We were not use to renting a house that was lived in. Jay was great and stayed in touch.

Thanksgiving week in Nashville

Jay's house checked all the boxes for our week during Thanksgiving in Nashville. It was pet friendly with a nice yard, had a dining room for Thanksgiving dinner, and most of all a nice neighborhood with Location, Location, Location convenient to everything.

News Years in Nashville

Spend the week in Nashville at this cute house. Jay was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed, and giving recommendations around the area for dining and entertainment close to the house. Nice house with everything we needed for a great week. Can’t beat the convenient location. $10 Uber ride to Lower Broadway and close to everything! We’ll stay here again!!!

Bachelor Weekend

Jason was accommodating by allowing us to check in a bit early. He provided us with places to go outside of the strip and places to eat. Spoke with me or my party at least four times about a week prior to the check in just for logistics. Great guy... Nothing really bad to say... Except get a new coffee pot cause it didn't work that great. Could have been user error too.

Not as advertised! The property is not what was expected for the price! Filthy bathroom, bed linens!

We only stated one night of the three planned for! We were so shocked after owner asked us to be there right at 4 pm check in because the maid would be finishing up! After owner left is when we started to notice things weren’t what he advertised! Mr.Jay was nice, but nice doesn’t explain blood spilt on the window sill and dripping down on to the floor dried! Shower stall was disgusting with old soap, old rusty razor left on the ledge and filthy stained shower curtain. Brown slime under the drawer in the refrigerator as well as it was filthy too! We had to stay because my husband had a urgent life threatening appointment at Vanderbilt Medical Center the next morning! We got out of there as quick as our appointment was over. Sorry to say this, however business is business. We have never thought we would have to give a bad review, but this is only fair to future paying customers! We have requested our money back through a credit card for the two days, because it was not safe for my husbands compromised health condition.

We loved the house. Lots of space, nice decor, and everything we needed for a weekend stay.!

Nice home in a good neighborhood, a short Uber ride to downtown and all the fun stuff in Nashville. Great place for a few couples or family to stay. Lots of room!

Clean and inviting! Exactly as described!

We had a wonderful stay! Jay was very helpful and the home was perfect!! It was an easy short drive to downtown and the neighborhood was quiet and safe! We’d love to book this home next time we come to Nashville!!

Nashville Basketball Weekend

First time staying in a house. Six men in town for the 1st weekend of the NCAA. We usually stay downtown close to the arena during the SEC tournament. No more. This house and Jay's hospitality was perfect. Less than 4 miles from Bridgestone and Broadway. The space vs one of the hotels is great. We will definitely use again and recommend to others headed to Nashville.

Great location and space!

Well-kept house in convenient location.

The owner does live here so all is well maintained. And the owner's personality is clearly present in his home. Jay is delightful to work with and goes out of his way to make the experience comfortable. We noticed some signs that a dog may live here too, so if you have allergies you should check that possibility out.

Nashville vacation

We spent a week at Jays house during the CMA fest and the Stanley cup final. Being from Canada, this was the best of both worlds for us... country music and hockey 😊 Our family included 6 adults and a 6 month old baby. The house was perfect for us. It had ample space for all of us. The basement was like a little apartment for my daughter, son in law and baby. The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe enough to go for walks with the baby. We uber'ed downtown due to the crowds but it was very inexpensive ($7-10). We used the back deck every day... hope we didn't keep the neighbours awake 🤔 Absolutely had a great time and the house was perfect for us.

PERFECT HOUSE FOR A VISIT TO NASHVILLE

If you are looking for a spacious home in a nice, quiet neighborhood, then this is the place for you! The house was perfect for our group of 6 and just a CHEAP Uber ride to downtown or midtown! You are close enough to all the action without having to pay the high price. The only thing we regret is not having the time to take advantage of the amazing deck/backyard area. Jay is a great host and even provided us with a list of local places to eat and things to do in the area. You won't regret staying here!
