Relaxing, cozy cottage in a pretty and quaint coastal village. You could see the ocean from the window and take a short walk it. We explored the Redwood state parks from this town. All amenities made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The cottage is decorated nicely and feels like a home. The host was available to answer any questions- though we didn’t have many.

Very comfortable and cozy. Cottage as advertised. Kitchen is well equipped and we really appreciated the coffee setup with grinder and locally roasted coffee. Also, for those of you driving an EV. Steve has provided a charger which should give you comfort driving to Trinidad, which is a very small (which is very nice) village. In sum you will not be disappointed in booking this property. Good value.

Steve is the best host! He’s friendly, helpful, and available, if needed.His place is perfect in every way. The view is incredible! The location is close to everything in Trinidad.

Located in the heart of Trinidad with the town, the bay and hiking trails within walking distance. The ocean bay view is nice but limited, has everything you would need! The wood stove is nice

This was the fourth time my family stayed at Pilot Rock Cottage and I cannot say enough good things about the cottage and our hosts Steve & Jen. We appreciate them a lot and feel so comfortable staying here! It's easily accessible to everything we want to do in town. The view is spectacular!! Every kitchen gadget and spice you could possibly need to cook "at home" is provided. Definitely try the shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided in the shower because it smells fabulous! Parking is great. The bed is super comfortable! I could seriously go on and on. We definitely plan on returning next year!

The Pilot Rock Cottage met everything we were hoping for: the cottage was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. The view of the bay from the front porch was relaxing and everything we were looking forward to. The local walks of the beach and trails were exceptional. Trinidad offered all we needed for amenities with cafes and restaurants. The simple question is, "would we stay here again?" The answer is, "a definite yes!"

The Pilot Rock Cottage is a very cozy and comfortable home. You can see the ocean from the living room. It’s a solid location. Perfect for a couple. Steve is responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend this vacation spot

The cottage was perfect for us. There are restaurants nearby and a grocery store. We checked out all the beaches and explored the tide pools. We watched the sunset every evening from a different beach. We traveled north and south from Trinidad to visit the enchanted trees in the area. Our hosts were very helpful and always responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great, quiet weekend away. Lights and heat were left on for us as we arrived late. Communication was amazing. Would definitely stay again, so don't book it so its available for us)Only thing we will change when we stay next time is to park on the street to unload

We really enjjoyed our stay. The cottage was extremely comfortable and convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, beach, hiking trails, and anything else one might want. Clean, too!

Great location and wonderful place to stay

This place was great for two people looking to spend time in a centrally located location on the coast. Walking distance to tasty food and the beach as well as hikes. We loved staying here and would definitely return.
