Close to Silver Dollar City

The condo was comfortable, but there is No dishwasher, they need to upgrade the microwave, there was a musty, mildew smell when we came in. The King size bed room, had a TV but it was not hooked up to anything for viewing, and would not work! Hall bathroom shower had mildew in it, towel racks fell apart multiple times, but were easy to put back together. Water pressure in the showers was very low. Front outside entry needs to be cleaned. Close to shopping and Silver Dollar City!

Good location

The whole process was very simple and the check in was super easy. The condo was as described and clean,. The only minor complaint that we had was that unit didnt have its own washer and dryer you have to use the condos luadry mat.

Our stay

When we went to make coffee, the coffee pot was dirty. The pull chain for the light in the first bedroom is broken. It kept coming off. The sliding glass door lock is broke so a piece of wood is keeping it closed. We had a good time.

Everything we needed

the condo was nice and clean. Everything we needed for our stay! Getting to and from the pond on the property was a hike! The deck is a nice ace to relax. Close to all the attractions but far enough for quiet relaxation. The pools are nice and clean. Great place!

We enjoyed our stay very clean and comfortable and quite. The only thing that was wrong was the TV in the bedroom didn’t work and no dishwasher but above all it was great

Good

We loved this area. Very quiet away from the business of the strip. The Notch is a nice area, great pool and the little lake was beautiful, but quite the walk to get there. Table rock lake is about 10 minutes away, the strip was about 15 and silver dollar city was 5. Our family of 6 fit ok in this condo. It was nice and decorated very cute. Had all that we needed except maybe a broom. Having a 2 yr old and staying 4 days you definitely need a broom. When we arrived we noticed that the floors had not been swept and that the counters were still dirty, toothpaste in the bathroom sink and hair on the shower walls. I called Greg and he had the cleaning people come back and clean up while we went and swam. Within about 30 minutes. He was very helpful and on top of things. With that being said, I think the pullout bed could use some updating, VERY uncomfortable. And maybe freshen up the deck. The blinds are broke and hanging. All in all this place was good, especially for the price.

Great location had everything we needed.

Very nice retreat with plenty of wonderful views and real solitude. Enjoyed every day and plenty of room and comfort. Owners were very helpful when called and we hope to go back again.

Quiet and quaint!

Great little out of the way place. Close enough to downtown Branson without being bogged down with the heavy traffic. Really like the scenery from the patio and the ease of check in! Definitely look forward to another trip to Branson.

Nice and clean. Very quiet for being so close to Silver Dollar City.

Great for our family of 6. Would have been nice to have a strainer and a TV in the master bedroom. We had great communication and check in was very easy. We would come back again.

Very impressed and happy with our stay.

We all were very impressed with the condo and it's accommodations. We all thought the condo was very clean and well stocked with what we needed. The check in went very well and we will definitely look at this condo again next year when we return to Branson.

Very cozy and clean

We really enjoyed our stay and it's proximity to Silver Dollar City. It was very quiet and relaxing and we had everything we needed. We really appreciated the quality supplies (soft toilet paper!), plenty of towels and extra blankets. I highly recommend it if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Branson but still be close enough to have some fun!

A great place to get away

Adequate and affordable but smelly

Our family of five (three young children) stayed at "Family Retreat" for a four day stay. Our first impression was negative, since the condo had a strong odor of cigarette smoke covered by excessive air freshener (or cleaner?). I made a call to the primary contact number, because I was worried about my daughter who has asthma. I never received a return phone call. While waiting for the return phone call that never came, we opened all of the windows and the screen door and unplugged the air fresheners. We got to the point where we could tolerate being in the condo. The following day, I noticed that someone else in the building was smoking on their deck- not sure if a previous guest or other people in the building were the reason for the cigarette odor. We noticed the odor every time we came into the condo. If you have migraines or asthma triggered by odors, this might be a concern. The positive aspects were that it was exceptionally clean (except for under the couch where my husband found an entire dried piece of cheese). The furniture was in great shape and the condo was so nicely decorated. It was adequately stocked for our needs of easy, quick cooking. I was left only wishing for a strainer for noodles. The teflon on the nonstick pan was coming off. The appliances all worked. The location was good for us, because we were heading to Silver Dollar City. At night, we enjoyed the pool, which though small, was fine for cooling off and never crowded. The kids loved the pool, and it was just a short walk down the main road. The deck was nice, and though the building is just off the main road into the complex, there was a nice view of trees when looking off the deck. The condo did end up feeling too small for our group - it would probably work better for groups of 4 or fewer. There simply wasn't enough room for all of us in the living room without someone sitting on the floor. The two bar stools were awkward to get in and out of, with the layout of the room. We had a twin inflatable mattress that just fit between the bed and the wall in the front bedroom. So, we did have enough sleeping room. The water pressure in the showers left a lot to be desired, but there was enough hot water for all of us. All in all, it was adequate for our needs but we won't be staying here again.

A great stay in Branson!

I really enjoyed our stay at The Notch! The condo had everything we needed! It was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of extra blankets and pillows for the pullout couch. The owners had games and movies along with a smart tv! My kids enjoyed the bag of popcorn that was there! It was also really nice that the pool was open 24 hours. This is a great place to stay! I enjoyed the book that was there for guests to sign!

Great Family Mini Vacation

My family and I were able to all get together under one roof for a great weekend together. We had the grandparents, 4 couples and five grandchildren. The five bedrooms were perfect for our needs. My husband and I used the master bedroom with our two year old and our new born. There was a pack n play provided, so we only needed to bring a cot for our toddler. The room was big enough for all four of us and the things we carry along for two kids under three.

Christmas timein Branson

We had a great time in Branson! The condo at Notch was first rate! The accommodations were just as written on the web site. We will definitely stay at this location again. It is just across the street from the Silver Dollar City overflow parking lot, very convenient!
