Perfect location

My wife and I and her dog Hazel are looking to relocate here and this was the perfect place to call home for two days. We were able to cook our meals here and spend time contemplating our next step.

Beautiful serene farmhouse

We loved staying overnight on the farm. The property and house was clean and well kept. Our kids loved being able to visit the animals. The house had everything we needed and the owners had great communication. We only stayed one night but would definitely consider staying longer if we are ever passing through again. The only thing to just note, not a problem, is that you can only access the third bedroom through the second, as well as the second bathroom is off of the second room. This worked fine for us because the kids were staying in those rooms. There was only access to the bathrooms through the bedrooms. Fine for families. This could’ve been listed in the description but I missed it. We also traveled into town which had a good variety of restaurants and a nice little downtown feel.I would definitely recommend this property and haven’t been able to stop thinking of the beautiful views since we left!

Another perfect stay

This was our second Easter weekend in a row staying here. The house had everything we needed, the property is beautiful and our kids loved spending time around the farm. The owners are super responsive. If you need a place to stay in the area I’d highly recommend this place!

Peaceful and Serene

Secluded Area with a gorgeous view

This property is beautiful. It is very secluded, and the view is breath taking! This is a must stay. The master bedroom is very nice, and we loved the back deck! The horses are just gorgeous to look at. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Sunset & Swing

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much it was very quiet & comfortable . We enjoyed sitting out on the swing watching the sun go down… Eating breakfast and a few suppers in the kitchen. Loved & touched by reading the book there “Restored”. Only thing not real clean was windowsills on back porch.. but other than that I really nice place to stay hope to come back again sometime in the area. Very easy to speak with owner Holly. very well in a comfortable bed.

Relaxation!

The property was beautiful and relaxing to stay at! My family and I enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle which this property provides. The animals helped keep my animals (kids) entertained. It is close enough to town for any of your needs but far enough to enjoy the quiet relaxation. Loved staying here! Perfect!

Our stay was perfect! Close proximity to the wedding venue, beautiful and peaceful property, comfortable and spacious accommodations, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful outdoor space! It was perfect for our family of 5. We had another family member renting one of the other houses on the same property and enjoyed walking between the houses and enjoying all of the animals. Highly recommend!

Happy to be back

Another lovely stay at the farm. This time my husband joined me and he too very much enjoyed the property and rental home. It is a perfect distance away from town. We loved the horses, firepit, and walks on the property! The home had everything needed for our week stay. Thanks for everything!

Muletown Girls' Getaway

This was one of the most delightful getaway places we've been to! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the Sunset Farmhouse was a charming place for a short girls' getaway. The home was immaculately clean (and larger than we initially thought!), the hosts provided clear directions and responded promptly to messages prior to our stay, and we didn't have any issues while there. My friend and I have both talked about how we would definitely come back again. This was truly a restorative getaway!

Slice of paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Muletown Farm. The farm was a little slice of paradise. It was so peaceful and a great place to relax. We spent a lot of time on the front porch, which was the perfect space to enjoy the sunset. The house was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was great to have so much outdoor space to enjoy and for our young son to explore. We hope to come back soon!

Nice country vibe

We were very happy with the location of the farm and the house on the property. It’s a decent driving distance from Nashville; Franklin, Columbia, and other towns; nature areas for hiking and falls; and Huntsville, AL for the Space Museum. I loved that the house is on a farm and had just the right charming, country vibe. Holly made everything about the process very easy and laidback.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and quiet. We did not get to meet the host due to running around for Daughter's wedding. All correspondence with them was answered promptly and very kindly. I hope we get to meet them next time. P.S. love the Keurig machine!

Cute house on farm

We stayed in the Sunset House on Muletown Farms for the second year in a row for family weddings in Columbia. Great relaxing area. Sitting on the porch in a rocking chair or the porch swing was perfect in the warm sunshine. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the new firepit next to the house with outdoor lighting. The property is beautiful to walk around with a friendly horse & dogs to pet. Great place to stay with several cabins/houses to choose from.

Hello! We’re the Browns, proud owners of a 32-acre farm we fell in love with back in 2017. Our dream was to find a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and this land became exactly that—and so much more. Today, we’re thrilled to share our little slice of tranquility with others who are looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with what matters most.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This farm was settled in the years between 1808 and 1812. Originally, the land was part of a larger parcel gifted to Colonel Grant by George Washington himself as a token of gratitude for his leadership during the Revolutionary War. Eventually, the Grant family sold the property to settlers from South Carolina, the Armstrong family. The exact dates of the construction of the main house and the side cabin are uncertain, but it is believed to have been built between the years of 1812 and 1889. The Armstrongs sold the property to Dr. George, who became the most beloved and notable veterinarian for livestock in Maury County, and the property became widely known as the George farm. Dr. George passed away a few years ago, and the farm unfortunately fell into a state of disrepair due to his illness. However, we fell in love with this property, its history, and its potential to be a working hobby farm. We saw a place for busy people to unwind, connect with nature and God, and enjoy a stress-free weekend. We hope that your stay here will make your journey a little more pleasant along the way.
