The house was amazing plenty of room for a large group and process very reasonable lake is full. Lake is full. I would totally recommend it. Had a great area to beach our boat for an overnight for a couple of nights and worked out great. Would stay here again.

Perfect large group stay

Rena was super responsive and accommodating to our group. The place was clean and perfect for hosting a large group. We enjoyed all the different amenities from the fire pit, grill, lake front, volleyball net, and huge yard. Thank you so much Rena!

Ladies Camp 2025!

Ten ladies, running away from everything, had an amazing experience here! The house is full of charm. Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is FULLY equipped! The beds are comfy with lots of pillows! The screened in patio, with an almost constant breeze, stole the show! Views of the lake, fresh outdoor smell, without the bugs... What more could you ask for? The lake is low, but still accessible. Half of us walked to the water, the other half drove to the water. Thank you for making Ladies Camp 2025 a huge success! I couldn't have done it without you! Look forward to staying here again.

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at this house! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need — cooking was a breeze. One of our favorite spots was the screened-in porch, where we spent so much time relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.The home was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to sleep, hang out, and unwind. The only thing to note is that the water was a bit farther than we expected, but it didn’t stop us from having a great time fishing and soaking in the outdoors Overall, a lovely getaway and a place we’d happily return to!

wonderful vacation home

We have stayed at this property before and will again. The ranch house is spacious and emmcclate. The hosts are very welcoming and there if you need. The front porch was awesome to sit on every day.

Perfect place for a group.

The house is charming in its decor and overall open atmosphere both inside and outside. The owner thought of everything that would make a guest comfortable. Rena is a very friendly and welcoming person. We all had the best relaxing time. It was wonderful to have a large screened in porch

Lake View Villas at Buchanan Dam

The home was perfect for our families end of summer weekend trip. Home and property was very clean. Adequate cooking utensils/ grill. We took paper plates, plastic utensils, etc. We took our beach towels. Loved the washer and dryer. We had no wet swim suits/ towels laying around. There was enough room for all my family. We used two queen air up mattresses for some of the kids. Great location. Water was low. The men fished in Bass Tracker, two smaller fishing boats. Kids caught a few perch using kayaks. Caught 9 catfish off the land. Children and gradkids enjoyed kayaking, fishing, grilling, playing games, watch Olympics. games Thhomegrounds were were well kept.

Family Reunion

The Farm House is the perfect accommodation for several families or large gathering. Loved all the comfy beds, several options to sit, eat and play games. There is a screened porch facing the lake and a large lawn with shade trees. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and appliances. We definitely recommend this rental!

We had 14 family members 1 year-82 years for our family lake reunion trip. Everything at the porch house was absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to gather around and visit, play games and enjoy each other! Great location and great facility! They have everything you need to cook and have fun! Girls’ weekend

Eight 1960s high school friends reunion. Enjoyed our time in this peaceful, charming farmhouse on the lake. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Loved visiting on the porch, sitting in swing and walking the grounds. The house was comfortable, super clean and had everything we needed.

Perfect 90th Birthday Gathering

We gathered at the Farmhouse for our dad's 90th birthday party, staying a few days before other family joined us for the weekend. For the party, the Farmhouse easily accommodated the 46 people who celebrated with us for the day. And despite the lower water levels at the lake, everyone had a fantastic time walking down to the water, playing games, and a evening fire in the large fire in the pit. The Farmhouse was well stocked with a great kitchen, good towels, and laundry, and comfy beds. We had some fabulous sunrises from the screen porch! Booking was easy and Rena promptly responded regarding any questions. I would definitely stay again!

Clean house but beware no internet !

It was hard to keep the kids busy without internet. Kids wanted to leave the next day. The house was clean well kept and manager was available on text and call.

Rex and Rena bought this property in June of 2018 from a family that had owned it for over 100 years. We both went to school in the Austin area and own property in Llano County. We recently sold our weekend Lakehouse close by when we decided to permanently moved to the Hill County in 2014. We renovated two vacation Villas side by side with a Farmhouse and Beach house theme. Charming and relaxing!
