Will never go anywhere in Shorepine Village again. We spent the money to for an 8 day stay here instead of going to Europe or Hawaii because of health issues. Yet we try to make the best of it and so we overlooked the fact the house wasnât super clean, the fireplace didnât work, the bed had a 10 year old Motel 6 mattress, and the workstation wasnât what we expected. Then the second day we were here there was tons of noise for what we thought was landscape work, so we drove out to the beach. When we got back the road was roped off because they had resurfaced the road. Overflow parking was full so we parked with tons of other cars on the street. Next day all those cars were still there, but ours was gone. Instead of being stolen it was towed and cost 874.00.The folks at the office, Cape Escape Rentals and Century 21, gleefully told me I should have had a sticker from Meredith Lodging and that they had towed all the Meridith Lodging guests. They also told me they were not legally obliged to give me a sticker or even tell me if it would happen again. Then they used the ride to the tow place to try to sell me a house. Ha! As if!!
