Home away from home, but prettier

Excellent Eclectic Cottage

Great location near the Airport, accommodation was super clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Sharon and Merv were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble, can highly recommend.

Home away from home

We booked the Eclectic cottage as we needed a base for visiting our family that was close to them but as we were staying for a while we needed somewhere which provided all the comforts of home & this certainly did. Sharon was very welcoming & couldn’t do enough for you. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely stay in Christchurch

Eclectic Cottage was a perfect place for our weeklong visit. It was very comfortable, well equipped and our hosts made us feel very welcome. We hope to come back soon!

So close to airport less than 4 minutes

Convenient, comfortable and great value

Wonderful Stay

Sharon is the consummate host. She greeted us with open arms when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was excellent - had everything that we needed. The only one problem is that we could only stay one night as we were returning home the next day. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Christchurch for a visit

Feels like Home

Sharon welcomes you with genuine hospitality! Everything in her unit is well organized, immaculately clean and comfortable. Many thoughtful touches such as simple kitchen staples, breakfast items, and local restaurant menus. There is a well-outfitted kitchen with dishes/pots/pans, couches/chairs/nice dining table, and an outdoor patio with table and chairs. The beds/bedding/towels are comfortable and fresh. The location is across the street from a park for a walk on the walking path or to play on the playground. We were there in the summer and enjoyed Sharon's beautiful garden and potted plants on the porch. It is a short walk to a Christchurch metro bus stop going downtown and in a nice neighborhood. I would highly recommend!
