Westwind # 502 renoveringar är vackra. Den pop-corn tak har skrotats och hela enheten har målats i en ljusgrå ton med vita knutar. Köket har alla nya apparater Frigidaire Gallery serien av rostfritt stål och en Samsung främre belastningen tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Alla möbler, lampor, bilder, tillbehör, TV-apparater, etc är nya.

Coastal Cottage Decor:

Vardagsrum bäddsoffa, accent stol och ottomanska är av Ashleys Alenya linje. Grädde och vintagekol klädsel. Matsalen bord och stolar är Whites Samla av Ashley - två ton vitt och blanka bruna finish.

Det stora sovrummet har en kung madrass med en Tufted klädd solbränna linnetyg sänggavel med spik-head beskriver please trim.

Balkongen har alla nya utemöbler SunCoast aluminium inklusive schäslong, 4 stolar och 2 sidobord.

Westwind Property:
Med endast 30 enheter i byggnaden är det lätt att njuta av Gulf Front pool och BBQs. Tillgång till stranden är en enkel promenad över strandpromenaden där det finns säsongs stol och paraply lägenheter tillgängliga för gäster. Lägg därtill en kort promenad från stranden ner till Gulf Shores Main Beach till platser som Hangout och Pink Pony och du har delar av en perfekt tillflyktsort.

Rest and Relaxation

The property looked as described. I loved the view of the beach and the water. The bathroom needed some TLC… hair from previous stay was clogged up in the tub. The tub also needed to be cleaned… and the quality of the paper products weren’t good.

Location was great and access to the beach was awesome. Price was reasonable and check-in/out was super easy (condo was even ready early for us which was great). Condo wasn’t not clean, but there were definitely some easy things that would have improved our impression (shower drain hardly drained - we were hard pressed to take any sort of shower without water accumulating in the bottom therefore sand, dirt, etc. also built up; mildew/moldy looking substance in rim of water/ice dispenser on fridge; mildew/moldy looking substance on rim of washer). Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the amenities that were offered but having those things clean/working would have improved our stay.

Fireworks on the Beach

This is our 2nd year to stay in this area during the 4th. The fireworks from the pier are spectacular. We have now visited Gulf Shores five times. The location of the condo is our favorite. We have stayed at the Westwind three of the five times we have visited. We will stay again. One suggestion I would have is to provide an umbrella or a couple of beach chairs for those that are traveling from locations that do not have the use for them. We did use Ike's chair service but did not get a choice spot and would have loved to save the money for possibly extending our visit. However, we will return to this location.

Fantastic location

This is our 3rd year staying in Westwind. It’s small enough building to not be crowded and the location is the best!!! Right on the beach, far enough from the Hangout to be quiet but close enough to be convenient. The condo is just as nice as the pictures look. Only 2 minor inconveniences that if changed would make this a 100% perfect place. The security light by the elevator shines right into the bedroom. Perhaps the owner can add some room darkening shades. Until then, bring an eye mask if light bothers you while sleeping because it’s brighter in the bedroom at 1:00 am than 10:00 am. And second, the bathroom lighting isn’t the best and it’s hard to see inside the shower to shave.

The unit was dirty.

We had to wash all sheets and blankets. The sheets were visibly dirty. One blanket had a blood stain on it. The floors were dirty. Bathroom too small for 2 adults and teenage children.

I actually give it 3.5 starts

The best part of this unit is the interior, view, and location. All very important. I am giving this place four stars, but would give 3.5 if I could. More good stuff: The interior is nice. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment for cooking. The pool was clean and warm. The just-okay: The outside and common areas are not awesome. Looks and feels like an old run down apartment building. What I just don't get is why not throw in a couple of beach chairs and towels in the closet. We flew from California and had to buy beach chairs and an umbrella. $80. We left them but I'm sure they'll be tossed. We brought 4 beach towels from home and that takes up alot of space. The other thing that was unlike all other VRBO units is that they completely toss everything from the kitchen. The cupboards were BARE. We left condiments and stuff like salt and paper, spices, herbs, etc. and I'm sure others have too, but it appears they toss it out after each guest. Why not let others leave stuff to be used by the next guests. Wifi is spotty. There's one router on each floor for all the units. Totally unsecured.

First time to Gulf Shores

They put me in a different condo but that didn'tmatter because the stay and play program is pathetic. Youcan't get anything available so what's the point of havingone? They offered me a full refund and didn't give one. Ihad told them I wanted to leave and that's what wasoffered. I've been renting from them for 20 years. It's ashame to pay that much money for **** poor product andservice. I drove 9 hours to specifically go deep sea fishing.I had to wait over an hour to get service for a new condoso therefore all restaurants were closing and we couldn'tgo out to eat. The guy that gave me the keys to my newcondo didn't give me a parking pass so my car was gettingtowed as I was trying to leave. I would never recommendthis company to anyone wanting to stay in Gulf Shores! Goto Myrtle Beach! My vacation has been ruined because ofthese people! Stay away if you plan on having a good vacation!

The location of the building was great, the unit was clean, but there was not one piece of comfortable furniture in the unit. The bed was the worst one I have ever slept in. The TV in the den made weird noises when we tried to watch a DVD. The couch was like a bucket. When you sat on it it was like being in a hole. I would stay at Westwind again, but definitely not in unit 502!
