Denna autentiska avskilda stuga som ursprungligen byggdes i förbjudetiden ligger inbäddat på ett berg med utsikt över östra delen av Delaware-floden och erbjuder dig alla bekvämligheter i hemmet, inklusive integritet och intimitet. Nära till staden så att du kan mataffär, är detta ett perfekt läge för fiske, paddling och paddling. Sitta ute på verandan och njut av bergsutsikten ovanför den lilla dammen eller bygg en bra eld i eldstaden och titta ut på floden när du stekar marshmallows under månskenet. På vintern snugglar du upp framför vedeldatorn och har roligt att spela spel eller titta på filmer. Vår stuga sover 6 bekvämt och levereras med 2 sovrum / 1 badrum, plus en futon soffa som gör till en säng för 2 i vardagsrummet. Faciliteterna inkluderar Wi-Fi, en TV med gratis Netflix och ett bra urval av DVD-skivor. (OBS! Vi håller på att uppdatera fastigheten, så även om allt fungerar bra och det är bekvämt och rent, var vänlig bära med oss genom dessa uppdateringar - det är fortfarande perfekt för en vilsam semester.)

Charming Cottage

This charming cottage was the perfect weekend getaway! The host, Janet, was always available to answer any questions. This cottage is like going back in time but has all the amenities. Super cute and very clean! Highly recommend!

Some fishing and relaxing

Directions were excellent, instructions were clear. Checking in and out were a breeze. The property is private, the cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We fished a few areas on the East Branch of the Delaware Fishing was good, but best of all was spending time with my youngest, Sam, especially at the nightly campfires.

Another weekend in the woods

Once again the cabin was perfect. Everything was spotless and ready to enjoy. Even when we ran out of BBQ gas, Janet took care of it right away. (Is anyone going to invent a gauge to measure what is in a tank?) Look forward to next spring!

Quiet and cozy

Great lil cabin with privacy and views! We had a great time at this private secluded cabin. Janet is a great host! Morning campfires with overlooking the river and watching flocks of geese fly by were definitely a highlight of the stay. Rustic but clean cabin and everything you need to enjoy a few quiet days in nature! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property, and the perfect getaway

Janet's cabin exceeded our already high expectations based on the listing and other glowing reviews. The space is clean, very thoughtfully outfitted and charmingly decorated, set on a beautiful private property, and very near the river, antiquing, kayaking, and all the we were hoping for in a weekend getaway. We will certainly be back!

Cozy and comfortable

Cabin along the East Branch of the Delaware

The property was very sweet. The only downside, was the lighting in the cabin is extremely dim. So indoor reading and kitchen food preparations would benefit from additional lighting.

One of my favorite features is the centerpiece of our kitchen – an old 1930s stove and oven. It’s a true treasure and adds to the authentic rustic feel of the cabin. Outside, you’ll find a serene spring-fed pond, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful mountainside setting.

EXPLORE THE AREA:
• Roscoe: Just a 30-minute drive away, Roscoe offers fun activities like visiting the Roscoe Beer Company, the Do Good Spirits Distillery, Buck Brook Alpacas Farm, and the Roscoe O&W Railway Museum.
• Cooperstown: About an hour away, Cooperstown is home to the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, a must-see for any baseball fan.
