Vårt hem hemifrån kan vara ditt!

Vackra 4 sovrum, 3 badrum hemma på Oak Island, NC, bara en kort promenad till stranden. Hem på 2 plan har ett familjerum, fullt lastat kök, matsal, skärmad veranda, 2 sovrum och 2 badrum på bottenvåningen. 2: a våningen har ytterligare två sovrum, ett badrum, ett annat familjerum och en vacker täckt veranda. Vi har också en pool!

Vi är på 3: e raden tillbaka från stranden och ungefär en 2-3 minuters promenad till en allmän tillgång till stranden den 26: e.

House sover 10 med en kung och en drottning säng på huvudnivån, och en drottning, två tvillingar och en drottning bäddsoffa på andra nivån.

Bekvämligheterna inkluderar tvättmaskin / torktumlare, WiFi, kabel-TV med HBO och Cinemax, stereoanläggning, gasgrill, pool.

Även om vi har lågsäsongen avstängd för personligt bruk, skulle vi överväga att hyra huset under den tiden om vi inte kommer att vara där. Vi försöker komma dit så ofta vi kan, och ibland vet vi inte förrän några dagar innan. Men maila oss om du funderar på en höst-, vinter- eller vårresa till sista minuten till stranden! Huset kan vara tillgängligt! Vi kommer inte att hyra för långt i förväg, men det är värt ett försök!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back someday! The house was lovely. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. It is very cute, but comfortable. More homey and inviting than other rentals I have stayed in. The floor plan was wonderful for families with the room/bathroom ratio. It was also pretty good with sound buffers- if the kids were playing loudly, you could not hear it all through the house. Communication was excellent. We had everything we needed for a fun getaway. Highly recommend!

Family Fourth

Another perfect Family Fourth in Oak Island at Janet & Carson’s. This is our sixth summer staying here. It is always so clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. The pool is the favorite of all the grandchildren. It is well-maintained and has many comfortable pool chairs to enjoy! Most all of our meals are spent on the screened-in porch overlooking the pool. Thank you, Janet & Carson, for allowing us to stay at your home each year!

Perfect Stay Again

This is our third year staying at this property . We love this house. The location is great. It’s on a quiet street. The walk to the beach is short. The master has a new walk in shower and new toilet. There is plenty of covered deck space. The pool is fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked. The elevator is great to get your things to and from your car. It’s all good. We will be back.

Family Trip 2024

Definitely a gem!

We were immediately impressed with how spacious and beautiful this home is. It is even roomier than it appears in pictures. It is clear that this is their home and is treated as such. Janet and Carson were very responsive and helpful when we had any questions. We are already planning our trip back next year and can’t wait to stay here again!

Decor of home

Beautiful pictures and artwork throughout home. Truly is a home away from home. Very clean and well maintained. Large bathrooms and bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Would definitely come back. The owner responded quickly to any correspondence.

Wonderful Family Vacation at Oak Island

Our family was very happy with our stay! Having the pool was a great bonus for our almost 2 year old grandson and the rest of us. It was a great location, close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking on the scenic trails near the marsh accessible from the neighborhood. We found the kitchen to be stocked well and some great places to eat close by. We spent our last night with dinner at the house, out for ice cream and a nice walk on Ocean Creat Pier. It was a beautiful house and I highly recommend.

wonderful experience.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Oak Island during February. Home Away From Home is very aptly named! It's a beautiful home and a close walk to the beach. It is also near a scenic walk with boardwalks and walking bridges over the marsh. That was a daily favorite. There is an elevator, which I found very helpful. It was quiet during February at Oak Island so very relaxing. Thank you.

Annual Family Beach Vacation

We were saddened for our Oak Island vacation to end. This is our second year staying at Janet and Carson’s home. Everything about their house is warm and welcoming—simply beautiful. Beautiful Home

This was our second year staying at this property. Location of the home was perfect. First year we stayed and everything was perfect. This year when we arrived the pool wasn’t clean. The days they were suppose to clean the pool it wasn’t cleaned. The pool company came out at one time and said it wouldn’t backwash and then another time they came out and said it was 3 bags low on salt, and neither time was the pool fixed or taken care of. By day 6 there was algae growing in the pool.

Perfect Beach Home

To begin with, we don’t know why we haven’t rented this property before now! It was the ideal beach home for our family of 10. The Oak Island location, short walk to the beach, spacious rooms, house amenities, and pool offered everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Family Beach Vacation

We thought Tropical Storm Colin may dampen our week at the beach, but it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. Thank you Carson and Janet for opening your beautiful home to us each year. We both have always wanted a house at the coast, and in 2014, were able to realize that dream. We built our home on beautiful Oak Island, NC. We are both from western North Carolina and still live there, but love to get to the coast as often as possible. Our mission was to build a HOME, not a rental house. We accomplished that mission. We are willing to share our home - when we are not there ourselves!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We were looking for property close to golf, great fishing, and walking distance to the beach. We settled on Oak Island after looking up and down the coast of North and South Carolina. Oak Island is a quiet, family oriented island. There are no high rises, and relatively little traffic compared to other nearby beaches! The beaches are wide and great for walks. Great restaurants are a short distance away on the island, and more great food and shopping in Southport - only 5 miles away!

We have built our second home to be as comfortable as our first one. The rooms are large, and the furnishings and accessories are upscale. You will find everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
