You can't beat this canal for easy access to the gulf out of Crystal River. The house has a floating dock and it's furnished with everything you need.

The property is a bit older, and definitely has some issues. The AC barely kept the house at 80 during the day. In the evening the house would cool to 77ish. The bed in the guest room is terrible, major sag in the middle and is nearly unusable. My wife toughed it out but I ended up sleeping on the couch. The guest bedroom pocket door will not close either, but there is a curtain so at has resemblance of privacy.The crows nest with the 2 twins is unusable in the summer months—the ac does a poor job of cooling that area. It was so hot up there our kids didn’t want anything to do with it. Good thing we brought inflatable mattresses. The blinds also don’t do anything for sunlight, the room is terribly bright in the morning, and there is no way anyone is sleeping in up there. If you have children and are thinking they can sleep in the crows nest, good luck because they will not want anything to do with it. The master bedroom offers better privacy than the guest room but it is exposed to the crows nest stairs. Anyone on the stairs can see right into the bedroom. The path from the house to the dock was overgrown with weeds and we had to spend a few minutes clearing a path. The dock is useable, but has seen better days. Lots of warped boards, soft spots, exposed nails, and rotted wood. Honestly the only thing this house has going for it was the water access and location.

Fantastic location in Crystal River

My family had a wonderful stay at this property in crystal river. Great place just outside of town but still on a beautiful canal with easy access to Crystal River and Kings bay. Only a short trip to the marina for a boat rental, and just a few minutes to town for all the restaurants on the water!!!

A bit run down and not loved. This place is for sale and needs attention to be a fantastic rental. My vote is acceptable and not fantastic.

Functional House, Great location

Overall enjoyed the house, access to dock and water for boat. Some maintenance needed, some outdoor chairs and queen mattress need replacing.

Great vacation rental.

Would highly recommend. This rental is located in a great spot right off of the river. Amenities were awesome. We'll definitely look for some time to rent in the summer.

Relaxing home.

Very comfortable home with great front and back porches for the sunrise and sunset. Home has very comfortable beds and sits on a deep canal just minutes from the river and gulf. We really enjoyed our two week stay.

Great place for those who love the “Salt Life”

My grown kids and I reunited in Homosassa for a day of scalloping and came to this place afterwards to relax. It easily accommodated 6 of us and was very conducive for hanging out, grilling and catching up with each other. I loved the porches, their views and the use of kayaks to access Crystal river. A great stay!

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean. Easily accessible both by road and by boat! Love that we could go out even on low tide. Will rent again!

Thanks for the great review. Yes, our house is the deepest canal on the river and has not bridges so you never have to worry about the tides when coming or going. It makes planning so much easier.
