We were coming to la for a wedding and found this property. Could not be more pleased with the location, views, and access to fun things to do. My kids were so excited with how close the Hollywood sign was and it was a super short drive to universal studios. Paula was a great host who even dropped off coffee for us! Will definitely be back!

Great Location

Paula communicated well and made check-in/out a breeze! Property is as described with a wonderful view. We brought our teenage boys to LA for a busy weekend. The beds were very comfortable after long days of sightseeing and fun.

Spacious and clean. Seriously good view of Cahuenga peak and Hollywood sign areas from living room. A short ten yard walk about southeast and you get a great view of Los Angeles basin. Overall great location. Front entry needs a little bit of attention to make it more secure. Thanks.

Fantastic Stay and a Great Host

We absolutely loved staying at the property. Deck was great for relaxing and the neighborhood was very quiet. Paula, the host, was great to work with and was so helpful during our stay. Close proximity to Hollywood, Burbank, hiking, and freeway access. Such a beautiful area and just down the road was the Beachwood Market and the Beachwood Cafe. Clean rental and had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again.

Great views.

This is a wonderfully spacious place to stay with gorgeous views. The bedrooms, bathrooms, efficiency kitchen and deck are on the lower level with a fabulous great room to relax on the upper level. Interesting artwork and collection of books to choose from and relax. I definitely recommend staying in this beautiful home.

Absolutely amazing!

The location of this property is unmatched. Every time we went out to sight see, our entire family was anxious to get back to the house and sit on the porch with the Hollywood sign in view. The property owner communicated frequently and gave us some dining ideas. Great place to stay!! Also, the horseback riding just down the street is so much fun!

Fabulous Location!

It was my first stay in LA and it couldn't have been a better location for seeing the sights of the city! The patio was a delightful location for unwinding from a long day of touring studios, the walk of fame, the tar pits, the market and Griffith Observatory. There was so much to see within a 45 min radius that we never found ourselves stuck in the dread LA traffic. If you have a limited time to see a lot this is your best location and if you want to get a feel for Hollywood living this is your house!

Charming property!

Very clean property with great view of the Hollywood sign! There is an incredible view of the lights of LA just steps away as well. We saw there was only a kitchenette in the description and packed accordingly. If you plan on cooking or will need to do lots of dishes, this may not be the place for you. Paula was a lovely hostess. We would stay here again.

Amazing stay

This home has spectacular views of both the surrounding hills, but downtown LA as well. It’s close to Griffith Park, and anything Hollywood you would want to do. Paula is a wonderful and kind person. She has good food suggestions and has a her own family restaurant, which she was too humble to tell us about at first. I’ll tell you right now, you must go to this restaurant The Cat and Fiddle. It’s British food with vegetarian options. I can’t recommend this rental enough. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice getaway but needs a little love

The shared property is nice and spacious. Slightly unique setup with the fridge on the deck and Jack n Jill bathroom to the two bedrooms. Shower spout needs replaced among other antique/original things in the house. It was clean and well kept. The location is up a windy steep hill with a good view. For a single couple with kids, this would be a great stay. Not ideal for two separate couples. Overall good value and nice area.

Quiet unique affordable relative to other places in Hollywood Hills

We did not spend much time there but when we were there we really enjoyed the tranquil large deck with awesome views of the hills, the sign, and custom homes architecture. Very quiet , a plus for me to be able to sleep. Had a great adventure one day based on info found in an L.A. guide book in the living room! Paula and her daughter responded right away upon arrival to help us get in. Thank you.

The house was in an amazing location. It was a bit outdated but we lived the old school Cali vibe. There is no kitchen but there was a fridge and other forms of cooking. The accommodations were perfect. The main room was spacious and clean. This rental is connected to a main house. The walkout deck is on the first floor with the bedrooms and the main entrance is in the second floor where there is a huge family room and stunning views!!! We loved walking around the neighborhood and up the trails. No smoking allowed. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at your home.

Amazing experience

This was such a cool place to stay in such a great location. Everything was perfect. Paula responded quickly to every question I had. There is not a full kitchen but there is every thing you need to make a meal. We will definitely stay here again when coming to LA. Thank you for being such a wonderful hostess.

Hollywood Hills Retreat

We loved staying here while visiting our kids. The house is beautiful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of LA but with easy access to Griffith Park, the Hollywood sign and all the tourist stuff. We were in great communication with the owner. The place was clean, the beds comfortable. We loved the view from the deck and the picture windows in the living room.

In town for Joni Mitchell concert at Hollywood Bowl

This was a trip of a lifetime - to see Joni Mitchell at the Hollywood Bowl- so we needed a great place to stay and we sure found one. It is exactly as depicted in photos. So, no surprises. Super clean and beautifully decorated by someone with an amazing green thumb. The plants are wonderful. The view of the Hollywood sign from the living room and the fantastic deck was spectacular . Paula was prompt in responding to me and super friendly. I’d only make a couple of suggestions: an extra blanket in each bedroom and bigger coffee mugs. We had the best time and would highly recommend this rental for anyone coming to Hollywood. The driving was best left to Uber as the roads are very windy.

Breathtaking views from the deck!

If you want to get close to the Hollywood sign without having to hike for a good view, this is the place to stay. Our family of 4 adults enjoyed the very spacious deck with a spectacular view. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. We loved the fact that the main dining area is outside. We ate our breakfast on the deck at a very large table. The main fridge is outside next to the table. If you read the description ahead of time, you can plan around the small kitchenette inside. Most foods can be prepared with their appliances. There is an air fryer/toaster and microwave, coffee maker, and more. Instead of pancakes, we made waffles with the waffle maker, as there is no stove top. But I suppose you could put a pan on the outside grill - pans are provided. The master bedroom king size bed was comfortable, and the 2 bathrooms were appreciated. The living room is spacious, although we spent most of our time on the deck. The one issue we had, but we made the best of it, was the 4th adult sleeping option...The 2 cushions provided for floor sleeping were designed more for kids than an adult, unless you are an adult that is able to sleep on anything. They were quite uncomfortable for an adult. The second bedroom was spacious, but there is a double bed only. So for 3 adults, the sleeping accommodations are great. The 4th adult would have to be a small tolerant adult in our opinion. If you can sweat some small stuff, the location and view totally outweighed it for us. Thumbs up!
