Låt oss introducera den nyaste semesterbostadsfastigheten vid February Point, Great Exuma. Harbor Lights Villa är en 1 788 kvadratmeter 2 sovrum, 2 ½ bad hem 11 steg från det klara vattnet i Elizabeth Harbor.
Februari Point är en gated / säkerhetsövervakad destination resort. Fastigheten har tennisbanor, privata stränder, 2 infinitypooler, jacuzzi, ett blygsamt fitnesscenter, ett spa och en privat marina. Restaurangen Rusty Anchor erbjuder avslappnad mat vid vattnet.

Harbour Lights Villa har välvda tak med fläktar, en kontorsvinkel och ett fullt utrustat europeiskt kök med två handfat och bänkskivor i granit. Det finns en full storlek Viking kylskåp och mikrovågsugn, en diskmaskin och en matplats med ett teak matbord med plats för sex. En separat tvättstuga innehåller en stapelbar tvättmaskin / torktumlare och nyttofötsel. Övre våningen har en rymlig master svit med en king size-säng och har ett stort badrum med en kakel dusch och fristående badkar. Gäst sovrummet har en queen size-säng och eget badrum med kakel dusch. Båda rummen har takfläktar och varje våning har ett särskilt centralt luftkonditioneringssystem. Ett tidigare enormt omklädningsrum i anslutning till sovrummet har omvandlats till ett tredje sovrum med dubbel futon för extra gäster. Utrymmena på 773 kvadratmeter inkluderar fulla omslutna uteplatser på övre och nedre däck, perfekt för att titta på Regatta-åtgärden och det vackra vattnet! En teak uteplats matbord för sex är tillgänglig för uteservering och uteplatsen innehåller en full storlek propan BBQ.
I teknik- och underhållningsavdelningen erbjuder villan en smart TV med tillgång till Netflix, Amazon Prime Video och fem TV-kanaler. Det finns också en DVD-spelare och super-snabb fiberoptisk WIFI.
Great Exuma erbjuder de vackraste stränderna och vattnet i Bahamas (kanske världen). Dra nytta av detta genom att hyra vattenfartyg och gå till de närliggande avskilda stränderna på Stocking Island eller ta en båttur för att se simningspigarna! Dessa aktiviteter kan ordnas i närliggande George Town, cirka en mil bort. Där kan du också hitta livsmedelsbutiker, banker / ATMS, kyrkor, en bensinstation, barer, spritbutiker, restauranger och butiker.
Villan bytte äganderätten i april 2019, och de nya ägarna arbetar mycket hårt för att återställa den till sin ursprungliga nåd och charm efter många år av hyresmarknaden. De har renoverat inredningen till sin ursprungliga vardagliga elegans. Utsidan kommer snart att målas om en charmig karibisk kanariegul med vit trim. Beautiful location. Lots of space. Only reason for not giving 5* is a few extra amenities would be nice. Suggestions like beach towels, soap/shampoo/body wash dispensers in shower, lacks hot water and water pressure in shower frequently, a few new pots, pans & baking sheets, a couple beach chairs.

Sea Turtles and View were the Highlights!

We had a blast, and enjoyed the property! A quick walk to the pool & restaurant. The place was great for kids and easy to keep clean. We loved Exuma and will go back for sure!

February Point Fun

Our stay at the duplex was a good choice for our party of four. Waking up every morning to a beautiful view of the harbor is a great start to the day. The location is convenient to exploring both the north and south parts of the island and getting supplies from town. The home itself has nice indoor or outdoor gathering spaces and the neighborhood is well maintained as are the amenities. No complaints :)

11 steps to hard chairs.

Home was clean and had all the things you would need to be self-sufficient. It is in a nice, centralized location on the island. The home is showing some wear on the exterior. The view is beautiful. Only negative mark would be the lack of comfortable outdoor seating, no lounge chairs or soft chairs to hang out in. Exuma is a beautiful place with the friendliest of people.

The Best Location

I believe this spot in February Point is the best location on the island. This is one of the few beach front locations in a gated community. Although we felt safe everywhere on Exuma, it was nice to have the secluded neighborhood and quiet beauty of our own little bay to snorkel. The neighborhood is centrally located on the island and so close to Georgetown. Beautiful memories.

We love staying in February Point for the location and beauty of the houses right on the water with a dock to keep your rental boat. Beautiful views from the house inside and out. Amazing stay once again.

February Point is best option for near town accommodations with a secure place to stay. Area is very nice with easy access to all the area has to offer. Would stay here again!

Stunning!

The pictures in this listing do not do the place justice! It is absolutely gorgeous! Right on the beach with a pool next door. We had the pool to ourselves everyday. Gated security. The beach out front is great to swim, we saw turtles everyday. Looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful location!

The place is as described. Literally 11 steps from the ocean and loved seeing turtles swimming every morning! Georgetown is working on roads so we did lose water for a whole day but I think that’s an anomaly.. we did lose power and water on occasion so plan accordingly! A broom for the sand and additional towels would be nice but the washer and dryer is very convenient. The staff at the security were lovely and having the restaurant on-site was not only delicious but so convenient!

Beautiful property

This property is amazing. Very well appointed house. Every kitchen item you could need. Very clean. The view is amazing. We watched for turtles every morning. The location is great close to Georgetown and kind of in the middle of the island so everything was within a 1/2 hr. Lots of beach toys at the house. We had a very relaxing vacation

Perfect

Fantastic place! I rarely say I would stay somewhere a second time. I am saying it now! Quiet, beautiful landscape, on the water, picture perfect views, up to date interiors (not dated), plenty of seating, etc. I would live here if I could! No beach right out back, however there is a walkable rock area which was just fine. Steps right out back to the water. February Point is beautiful. Close to town. Book it!!

Incredible location and view!

Fantastic location and amenities! The view from the master bedroom is breathtaking. Turtles every morning, starfish everywhere, just amazing. Here's a couple of things to know that aren't in the listing. The garbage cans are across the street. The cold water on the amazing bath doesn't work. The beach towels are in a ottoman by the backdoor near the dining room. There is an inflatable paddle board in the guest room closet. The pump is in the laundry room. And the flies...you'll be battling them all week but it is the Bahamas!

Liked unit, but we got burglarized first night

Enjoyed our stay, but unit was broken into our first night there and our friends cash was cash stolen. There is no safe in the unit and no key was supplied for either of the upstairs locking closets. Poor communication. Toilet in master stopped working, host never responded, so we fixed it as best we could. Had to fill tank with a bucket last few days.

Weekly stay

The location is absolutely wonderful to Georgetown. The house is exactly as described. My only critique would be the communication with the owner. I felt that she could’ve text to make sure everything was OK especially when the water went out which of course was not her fault and it was just a minor inconvenience. However, it would’ve been nice. Had she reached out to see if everything was OK other than that everything is just as pictured note look in the baskets for extra blankets and the Ottoman downstairs for beach towels I didn’t find them until the last day that I was leaving.

Great view, location and turtles

This is our second time staying at 11 steps to the Ocean and we really enjoy the place. The cove in front of the house is great for views, swimming and snorkeling along the docks. We have seen starfish, eagle rays, sting rays, turtles and even sharks from the shore / balcony. If you venture over to the marina, you are likely to see several friendly turtles when you visit. The beach club area is nice for a calm beach, pool and hot tub. The food is good at the Rusty Anchor though this last time we didn't think it was as good as we remembered - especially for the high price. There is also a pool with lounge chairs that is 2 doors down from the rental that is for community use. There is often no one using it so it is like you have a private pool. Location is great to access the entire island (including little Exuma) by car and a quick trip to Georgetown for groceries, booze or restaurants. We were able to have our private chartered boat tour pick us up at the marina at February point for our trip which was very nice. It is great for us to have a washing machine at the house. We washed beach towels and swim gear most days. Suggested improvements would be to change the master bathroom shower and main kitchen sink fixtures that have very low water pressure (others ok), better/bigger beach towels, bigger coffee maker, replace inflatable paddle board / add kayak. Last note - as of January 2025, there are an excessive amount of coffee filters - no need to bring/buy any :)

Disappointing Experience

The property & surroundings were lovely & as described. We had booked for a month but after 3 days I found out I had stage 4 ovarian cancer we had to fly home to begin treatment. We asked if the owners could offer any refund given the situation. Eventually they offered to refund us any nights that were rebooked. 15 nights were but they did not refund what we paid for those nights but approx half price claiming they couldn't get the same rate (I booked 2 years ago at a discount). The lack of compassion they showed astounds me. I am an owner myself and given a situation like this I would have refunded at least half especially when most of the month rebooked. We are out of pocket a significant amount of money for 3 nights

Just what we needed!

We stayed 12 days and we not disappointed! We needed a relaxing vacation and this home helped make it happen. The space was great for just the two of us. Cozy and inviting. Very tastefully designed and decorated. The bed was very comfortable and let us get the rest we needed. The kitchen could use a casserole dish. That's my only complaint. Sasha was very attentive and responded quickly with answers to any of our questions. The home was very clean and neat. It was also well maintained, especially for a house right on the water and exposed to the saltwater. The front yard area was sand, which we loved, but as with any home in Exuma, The nosee-ums come out at night and when there is no wind. We were able to secure a boat slip for our stay and it was within walking distance. The Rusty Anchor is also a short walk. The Internet was fast, and that was exactly what we needed when we had to work. Finding the property was simple and coming and going was easy. Over all, excellent stay!

Best vacation yet!

We usually go to an all inclusive in Jamaica (over a dozen times) but we agreed to try something different this year. I am so glad we did. Exuma is breathtaking. The house was lovely and in the perfect location. Just a short drive to restaurants and the market. The house was clean and there was plenty of household items to make our stay comfortable. The temp was comfortable and loved having the washer and dryer on premise. The sofa was ok but definitely had wear and tear. The TV is very small. I know it’s insignificant but after a long day in the Sun, we just wanted to chill out and watch a movie. The stairs in this house are a tragic accident waiting to happen. They are dark in color and there is nothing to transition each step. They blended together making it difficult to tell where it ended. There were a few near-misses with accidental falls. The bedrooms are lovely and plenty big enough. Plenty of space to unpack. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. This was a complaint amongst the 4 of us. The master bathroom was huge as well the shower. However the toilet is in a “closet” and your knees literally touch the door when sitting. The toilet is loose and wiggled when you sat down. One day there was a terrible sour smell. Could not figure out where it was coming from. We ended up keep the toilet door shut and the fan running. Seemed to go away. Maybe the loose toilet was letting sewer fumes in? Decent house for the price point. Location was perfect.
