Beautiful 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom 2 story villa with ocean view Just steps from the beach. Situated in The Hideaways at Palm Bay Beach Club, Exuma Bahamas. Guests enjoy full access to the resort amenities including kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, pool, and a shuttle to and from town. Upon entering Villa 36 you will find two full master bedrooms with king sized beds. Venturing up to the second story you will find cathedral style ceilings with full kitchen, laundry facilities and half bath. Sit out on the deck and experience the gorgeous view overlooking St. Elizabeth Harbor which has different shades of beautiful turquoise water. Location is walking distance to Georgetown and multiple restaurants including splash, latitudes and the local fish fry. Guests can take advantage of the resorts shuttle to and from Georgetown granting access to the grocery store, straw market, gift shops, and restaurants. You will find Jolly Hall Beach just steps around the corner where you can enjoy an ice cold beverage on one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches and have a pool like swimming experience. Great location. Fully stocked house with all you need and more! Friendly staff. Restaurants within walking distance. The best snorkeling right outside the door! We hope to be back again someday soon!

Beautiful beachfront villa- must stay!

I can’t say enough great things about villa 36. So beautiful, well furnished, so much coffee (love it), sunscreens, snorkel masks, tons of towels and everything you could possibly need under the sun (quite literally in Exuma). Best is it’s right at the ocean and it’s quiet and accessible. Hideaways is a the perfect hide away place. Personal, quaint, private yet accessible and has everything needed. I don’t think we could have picked a better place to stay on exuma than villa 36. We will be back for sure!

Great place!

Property was awesome and had all the basic amenities you need. Property manager was on-site and very responsive when we needed her. The property is also located mid-island, so getting to any location is only about 45 minutes away.her. her.

We loved our stay! Elizabeth was a great communicator and was sure to give us recommendations, connections, etc. for the island. The beds/bedding were super comfortable (a must for me!)! Plenty of space to spread out, and the villa was fully stocked. Perfect location on the beach. We would love to come back!

Excellent place, location, and host!

This condo is right on a beautiful beach and walkable to another. The location is great, aceess to the airport, Georgetown, and markets right near by. The place is clean and very well appointed. The staff is so nice and the host was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again and would highly recommend this condo for a great vacation!

All the necessities: suntan lotions, amenities in kitchen, great service and a very comfortable stay. Literally just steps to the beach. Another incredibly beautiful beach and water to the left about 300 yds. Splash restaurant was excellent and the communication between host and us was quick and super friendly. Will stay here again for sure!

Holiday weekend with friends!

Overall this is a great property and a perfdct location to stay in Exuma. Its right in the middle of the island so you can head north or south for your activities. The condo was very clean and had a very well equipped kitchen. The resort has a great bar and restaurant and lots of activities to enjoy. The owner responded immediately to all questions and was a gracious host. I would highly recommend them and Villa 36!

Wonderful week

We had the best week in this beautiful beachfront condo. Everything you need for a wonderful week was supplied. Location is perfect to many restaurants and outstanding beaches. Elizabeth could not be any nicer to deal with , answered any and all questions that we had before, during and after our trip. Resort is wonderful, with a restaurant/bar onsite and a pool to chill at after a long day on the beach. Everyone on site was so nice to deal with, we will definitely be back again, to stay in this wonderful condo.

Just perfect

The best way to describe this property is just perfect! We were two couples that stayed in unit # 36 and it was a perfect size for us, clean and just a few steps from the beach. Perfect location on the island . We rented a car for the week and explored the island from tip to tip, just remember to keep left. Next time we’re in Exuma we will stay here again. And Elizabeth responded immediately to any questions or requests we had.

A little piece of paradise

Due to some unfortunate circumstances- no fault of owner we were unable to stay our entire visit. With numerous times of communication with owner and another member of my party we were able to be moved to another villa on the property. Only thing i would suggest to owner is please provide toilet paper, the rest of the rental was stocked perfectly.

This is THE place to stay in the Exumas

Our hosts were communicative, answered our questions quickly, and anticipated every need/want while in the Exumas. Our villa was much larger than I expected - with plenty of space in bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, hallway, living area, balcony, kitchen, and laundry room. There was a great amount of attention to detail. The Hideaways offers paddle board and kayak rentals - we could see sea turtles, tropical fish and starfish steps from our villa. A few minutes walk away is the gorgeous Jolly Beach. With nearby restaurants, a clubhouse and a pool, we couldn’t ask for more. The villa is well furnished with a phenomenal amount of amenities, and we could have spent the entire trip on the balcony overlooking the palm trees, beach and water. It was truly a perfect vacation rental!

Spring Break 2025

Mere footsteps away from the beach, the Hideaways was the perfect location for our family trip. During our stay (and adventuring to various different beaches) we found that the best snorkeling was right in front of our place. We saw nurse sharks, sting rays, turtles, starfish and conch. Our villa had EVERYTHING we could possibly need. Pool toys, floaters, snorkeling masks and fins. Ample bug repellents, sunscreens, aloe, etc. The kitchen was fully supplied-though we ate out most evenings, it was nice having the amenities to fix our boys lunch. The balcony was just beautiful. On the grounds were a really yummy restaurant Splash. Breakfast lunch and dinner served. The clubhouse was great to spend a lazy afternoon playing pool, reading, ping pong. The pool was clean with paddle boards and kayaks free to use. We slept well all of our nights in the villa. Truly felt like a home away from home. Elizabeth, our host, was so accommodating and welcoming and was thoughtful to check in with us. All in all, so many memories were made on this trip. It’s so important to have a place to stay where you feel comfortable and safe and the hideaways villa was just that.

Paradise In a Villa

Villa 36 is amazing and Elizabeth is the best! The Villa is literally 25 steps away from the beach. Downstair rooms are perfect, clean and comfortable. Upstairs the kitchen is well-stocked with extra treats already provided. It’s the best place to unwind after spending a day at the beach or on the water. Plus, the Villa has a cooler, floats and chairs for your use! Elizabeth is responsive, informative and a wonderful host. From the moment we booked, Elizabeth provided helpful tips and information. While there, Elizabeth was quick to respond and truly went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend and hope to be back some time soon!

Absolutely beautiful!

This property is AMAZING! We checked in at the desk@ main office; easy process. All of the employees were so nice and friendly. This was exactly what we were looking for; laid back and relaxing atmosphere. The views were unbelievably beautiful!! Jolly hall beach is super close and basically deserted during the day. We had the entire paradise to ourselves! The clarity and color of the water is like an aquarium. The turtles at hoopers cay were hilarious; very tame. The villa was spotless when we arrived. Elizabeth has EVERYTHING you need there. The beds were comfortable; a/c units are quiet and work well. The bathrooms/showers are like being at a spa. We did everything on the list of things to do that she sent us. She was a great host; easy to get ahold of with questions. Hoping to bring our adult kids with our grandkids next time we stay. Would highly recommend villa 36; hope to stay again soon!

Villa 36 at The Hideaways was truly a dream.

Location was perfect, close to Georgetown near the center of the island, so it was easy to explore the West end of the island one day and the East end the next. The Villa is one door off the beach, so the water is just a few steps from the front door. The Villa is an upside-down house with bedrooms on the ground floor and living area on the second floor, so no carrying suitcases up the steps! There are two spacious bedrooms and baths, each with their own A/C unit so everyone can choose their own temperature. Upstairs there is a nice half bath, absolutely amazing views from second floor porch, extremely well-equipped kitchen, including herbs, oil, basics like mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire, olive oil, peanut butter, jelly and loads of coffee, sugar and creamer. More than enough kitchen supplies, pots, pans, air fryer, microwave, and plenty of glasses, utensils and more, (the only thing missing was a potato masher). Full size washer and dryer with some detergent (we took some laundry pods with us). There was everything needed for the beach; four chairs, plenty of snorkels, cooler, beach bag, beach towels, and plenty of floaties. Elizabeth pays the extra fee to allow her guests to enjoy all the amenities of Hideaways, the pool, kayaks, water toys, gym and more. Hideaways was delightful, all the staff members were so warm, welcoming, and always offering to help in any way needed. We're already planning our next visit to Villa 36!!

Island paradise

As first time Exuma visitors, we were hoping for a quieter island with chances to connect with more locals and see true island life beyond the confines of an all-inclusive. To our delight, Exuma fit the bill! Exuma offers so many beaches and unique locally run places to eat, but it can be an effort if you don't know what you're doing yet. Fortunately, Villa #36 has the best handyman, Wade, and housekeeper, Jeanetta, around! Both are super friendly and knowledgeable about all things island. One great benefit of Hideaways was that Splash, a popular restaurant, is right on site. This saved us our first night. Plus, the staff always provided helpful service. Villa #36 provided everything we needed and more. For two couples, it offered well-appointed bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a half bath upstairs near the living areas. We cooked many meals in the full kitchen and spent mornings and evenings on the upstairs deck overlooking Palm Bay. Wi-Fi can be glitchy on busy days (everywhere on Exuma), but my husband managed to run a 3-hour Zoom meeting seamlessly one morning. Best of all, #36 is literally in front of a private reef that teems with fish. Snorkeling tours may await, but the turtles, rays and even barracuda can be found within 50 yards of shore here, right in your own front yard. I spent at least an hour every day kayaking and exploring the bay - with the crystal-clear waters, you can see tons of marine life without even donning a mask and fins. Elizabeth is an attentive and responsive property owner/host. She was beyond welcoming and gracious, and her response time is second to none! We appreciate her sharing her home with us. It may have been our first trip to Exuma but it definitely will not be our last!

Paradise! Words can’t describe this place and the view. Absolutely stunning! Walk to Jolly Beach which is gorgeous. Splash restaurant is fantastic. The pool is great. The property is clean and well maintained. Everything you need is there. Elizabeth is great! This was our first time to Exuma and The Hideaways and we WILL be back!

A hidden gem! Perfect location, beautiful view, nice facilities. The condo provided many amenities and that helped tremendously because we didn’t have to purchase the small things like spices and condiments. We didn’t partake in any of the activities at the resort other than the beach but there were several available like paddle boards, kayaks and a pool. The condo was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again! The owner was very attentive and helpful.

The property was amazing and had incredible views of the water. The balcony was priceless, as you can just sit and watch the water. The location is right on the beach (Hideaways is on its own beachfront) and also a short walk to the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen, Jolly Hall. Very thankful to Elizabeth for being so helpful and communicative, and for sharing her beautiful property with us for our trip. We are already making plans to return.

Wonderful stay!

Elizabeth is a great host with amazing communication. The villa is exactly as described. Comfortable place with everything you’d need. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need for cooking your own meals. I appreciate when there are spices and extra condiments left as well, which there were here. The views from the deck are spectacular especially for the sunrise! Highly recommend renting this villa!
