Amazing!!

This place is so cute and they really put a lot of thought into decorating the cabin! It was so clean and nice on the inside and out! The porch is so cozy and the view is nice! Easy to get to and it was close to everything we wanted to do! It’s a great getaway and I will definitely be back! Well worth it!

Best Birthday !!!

Great place to stay with large family. Very well stocked with everything you need. Clean and nicely decorated. We loved the hot tub. Our hosts were super nice and accommodating.

The rental process was especially easy. We found the cabin to be just as described, the property was neat, tidy, clean, and very up to date; with all the amenities you'd expect in a rental.

Family Christmas

The cabin was great the best part that everthing to see was 18 minutes away with no traffic problems. The corn hole game on the porch was a great touch as the kids played that quite a bit..highly recommend this property.

Blessed Thanksgiving

Our family really needed a restful, quiet Thanksgiving, and we got just that!!! It was wonderful! The cabin is very well furnished. It is clean and beautiful. An added bonus was that it was already decorated for Christmas 🥰❤️ it was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely return to this location.

House clean and very well designed, we liked the kitchen and the dining area which is convenient. Unfortunately house located very close to the interstate highway and noise from the trucks can be heard even inside the cabin.

Much more than we expected

Our mother and daughters weekend get-away was made so much nicer because we decided on this location. The cabin is large and filled with thoughtfully-chosen decor. We loved that we didn't have to traverse steep and dangerous roads to stay in a log cabin. Plus, the town of Trenton proved to be a new favorite for all of us! We will keep the Big Daddy cabin on our list of "must return" places.

Family vacation

Loved the house and property. It was so easy to check in….. enter the code and step into the house! We were close to all the touristy places, like Ruby Falls, Rock City, Incline Railway, Chattanooga; yet we had that out-in-the-country feeling. Red, the horse next door, was an extra added attraction.

Good friends getaway

The cabin was very clean and comfortable for 3 couples. We enjoyed the roominess of the kitchen and main living area. There was plenty of seating for the 6 of us. The main area is also where two of the bedrooms were each with there own bathroom. The upstairs 2 bedrooms have adequate sleeping and the bed we used was comfortable, however the shared bathroom is very small. I would have appreciated a better shower head as the one there doesn't offer very good spray. The bedroom we stayed in didn't have a closet, so we had to use the extra bed to lay our clothing on. We enjoyed sitting out on the back porch for morning coffee time, but it would have been nice if there had been some small side tables to be able to set your drink on. The road noise was louder than I expected, but I know that is something that can't be changed. Just didn't realize how close to the highway the cabin was as the pictures made it seem like it was out in the countryside. The owners were very nice and hospitable. When there was a problem with the backdoor doorknob he came out that day and fixed it. We all really appreciated that. The owner had also let us know that the hot tub at this property was supposed to be replaced, but the new one had not arrived, so he directed us next door to his other property to use the hot tub there. We were glad this arrangement was made available. The property is close to Chattanooga too which makes it nice for those who want to go into the city.

Perfect for our purpose

We are new-ish grandparents looking for a neutral place to gather with our daughters, sons-in-law and their infants. Some of us drove down from Nashville, others drove up from Atlanta. This cabin was quick, easy access off the highway & met our expectations and needs: each couple had their own room and the babies had a quiet place to sleep. Random thoughts...The cabin felt "homey" with comfy beds, plenty of towels, kitchen with all needed dishes etc. We managed to prepared most of our meals inspite of the fact that several pots/pans were in poor condition (i.e., extremely loose handles). The front yard was beautifully landscaped, and the front & back porches were lovely. Of the 3 bathrooms, only one had a tub (baby baths needed!). The upstairs bathroom (serving 2 bedrooms) was very cramped. I am not familiar with front loading washing machines- we were required to wash & dry the towels or be charged extra. Glad to do the laundry but the wash cycle took at least an hour- frustrating as we were trying to get out on time. Very grateful for the flex check in, check out times - helpful when working around baby naps! A grocery store was nearby for food shopping- very helpful. We are relatively new to VRBO & didn't realize there wouldn't be any plastic wrap or enough paper towels. Filtered water in fridge didn't work, but then neither did the hot tub (spa). We worked hard to leave the cabin clean and neat. We would be glad to stay there again but would do a few things differently such as bring our own towels and more disposable paper products. We had a wonderful weekend and can recommend to others!
