Vi ligger nÀra Parua Bay Village och tittar över bukten. (250m promenad till den lokala stranden).
Det finns vackra korta promenader hÀrifrÄn, inklusive en slinga med nÄgon strandpromenad genom mangroverna och stranden. De omgivande omrÄdena har vacker natur, promenader och strÀnder.
Du kommer att ha din egen privata entré och dÀck. Utemöbler och en grill att anvÀnda vid din vistelse.
Studion har en queen size-sÀng och eget modernt badrum.
Egen inredda kök finns i studion.

Weekend clinic and a stay in the bay

It was very easy and perfect for what I wanted. I didn’t see the property manager and I was a little unsure about where to park, presuming it was all OK - it all worked out really well and everything was there for my convenience.

Excellent experience.

Clean, well appointed, quiet and spacious accomodation with thoughtful hosts and a comfortable bed. Close to Mount Manaia, walking tracks with spectacular views, general stores and eateries. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Location and Wonderful Property

We loved our stay - had absolutely everything you needed including great bedside lights. We even got visited by a friendly Jack Russell and a friendly cat. Was downstairs and had privacy and a lovely outdoor area. Was a great location for exploring the Whangārei Peninsula. Would highly recommend.

Parua Bay Stay

We loved the studio. It was roomy and comfortable. We watched some beautiful sunsets from the patio. Our host provided several thoughtful welcoming touches. Those touches helped us feel welcome. We would recommend it to others.

Cosy and tidy getaway

Pretty much exactly how it looks in the photos, cosy and tidy with everything you need. Check in was all sorted when we arrived and access was no problem. Location is good, short drive to Ocean Beach which is fantastic, and if you really want to challenge your fitness try the Mt Manaia track; a LOT of steps but the view from the top is absolutely worth it.

Perfect Pad To Explore the Area

Everything was spot on about this little studio beneath a house in Parua Bay. Lots of nice extras too - flowers and kitchen condiments that came in really handy. Relaxing on the deck looking out at the view was a memorable end to every day.

Property was very well presented and clean, we enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was the hot water for the shower went cold after max 4 to 5 minutes, we only made this comment in a positive light to let the owner know. We hope to stay again.

Quiet and Comfortable Accommodation

Quiet and comfortable accommodation in a picturesque location. Just what we needed for our stay near Whangarei. We didn't get around to lighting the Bbq but the deck and seats were just out the door. We commuted around the bay - loved seeing the mangroves and other scenery along the way. One morning there were people kayak fishing and others packing fishing rods into their vehicles - maybe next time I can try that.

Winter holiday in Parua Bay.

Had a good time in Parua Bay. Found the beach 10 minutes walk away. Pub and other shops 5-10 minutes drive. Entrance a bit slushy in wet weather. Everything we needed in kitchen.

A lovely tranquil spot

We had a wonderful weekend away, such a beautiful spot. Hosts were lovely to deal with, very helpful and accommodating to our needs - separate bed for my daughter to sleep. Would highly recommend.

Xmas Break

Enjoyed our stay here, everything we needed for a short break. Well setup kitchen and handy BBQ area under cover. Very quiet part of Parua Bay, lovely to sit in the outside area with a small view of the water.

Hi there! I am Lucy, and I live on the property with my partner Warwick and our teenage daughters Jemma and Ellie.
We love our area that we live at Whangarei Heads, and regularly enjoy the local walkways, hikes and beaches.
We enjoy sharing these spaces too, as we also enjoy travelling around NZ and enjoying other peoples spaces available.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We are located near the village, which has a couple lovely cafes within walking distance. Several beautiful beaches are nearby within 15 minutes drive.
Whangarei Heads has a lot of lovely hikes.
