Spacious home, excellent value

You will not find another waterfront home this size at a price anywhere close to this. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We saw dolphins, rays and manatees right from the dock. Thank you Charles for hosting us.

Gorgeous!!

We stayed here in February 2016 and couldn't be happier. The property is top notch and close to everything. Charles made the entire rental experience very welcoming. It was great to wake up and sit outside by the water and have breakfast. The elevator came in very handy as we were extremely sore after completing the Gasparilla Ultra Challenge! Nick New York

Thank you Nicholas, I've just seen your review and it's certainly gratifying that your stay was so pleasant. Equally, I do hope that the pool was of some sort of benefit to your sore muscles after that grueling workout. In any case, we would be delighted to see you again... Next year's race?

Great property for making life long memories!

Property was exactly as advertised. Very spacious. elevator was a huge plus especially with kitchen on 2nd (main) floor. Specifically chosen because of location, size and access to tritoon fitting boat lift. Charles was very helpful even when interrupting his evening to call and ask for boat navigation help! Loved St. Pete and as foodies loved all of the local restaurants. Hope to come again in the cooler season!

Perfect for family gathering

Beautiful home! Well stocked for almost any occasion. Five generations were able to come together and have a great time! This is NOT a place for kids to have a complete "free for all" but we had a good group of kids who listened so it made the stay very good and comfortable. We had a couple of issues that the manager was very quick to address so we have no qualms there. Pool may be a little small for families with large groups or teenage kids but it was fine for kids from 10 months to 9 years old. Perfect place to unwind on the back veranda areas, go fishing on the dock, or watch movies indoors if the weather is not cooperating.

Waterside Palace

We had an amazing stay at this property. My husband and I rented this property for the month of February 2020. We have family nearby in Tampa and St. Petersburg and it was a quick trip for them to visit. Other family and friends came from Massachusetts to visit for a week during the month. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable place to host our visitors. We enjoyed all the amenities this house offers. We had grandchildren ages 2 - 8 visiting and they loved the heated pool! It was plenty big. They were in it first thing in the morning and then again at the end of our day trips. They especially loved the Treasure Island slide and beach area which was just a mile+ away, easily accessed by bike or car. We will definitely consider a return trip. Can't say enough about the property manager, Charles. He made sure we knew everything we needed to know about the property before he left us. He checked in mid-month to see if we needed anything and asked how things were going. He was easily available by phone or email. Very professional and friendly.

Great house in a great location.

Charles was great. Met with us at check in to show us around. We were a group of 10 and the house worked great. Didn’t get to use the pool much due to the weather. Caught four different kind of fish off the dock.location to Treasure island and St Pete’s beach was perfect. Lot of great restaurants.

Amazing Home!

We had an amazing family vacation staying in this home with many great amenities and plenty of room for our family of 12 to spread out or be together! They also supplied fishing pools and we caught Bluefish, Trout & catfish off the dock! The kitchen was well equipped with smallwares and we cooked many great meals! Nearby Publix delivered groceries from their website that we ordered prior to arrival so we wasted no time shopping. We saw dolphins every day and the views were beautiful and relaxing. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet. We also really enjoyed the heated pool, theatre room & fishing. The home has an elevator that really helped for our parents that have a hard time with stairs. Overall the home exceeded expectations and Charles was a great host greeting us, showing us the home, and was available if we needed anything.

Perfect in every way!

This house is nothing short of amazing! We had five families in the house ages 3-83 for our family Christmas. Everyone had there own space to retire to, but the house was laid out perfect for when we were all together. There was something for everyone to do —from watching movies in the theater to a dip in the pool or foos ball tournament. We had a wonderful time and can not wait to go back! Charles is hands down the best owner we’ve dealt with when planning to stay in a rental. His communication was top notch, and making sure our vacation was everything a vacation should be, was his number one priority! I can’t say enough about Charles and this property. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect vacation

Can't say enough about how amazing this home is. Very clean and well stocked. From the shampoo etc in the bathrooms, staples in the pantry, separate ice machine in kitchen and beach towels by the door to the pool everything was great. Our extended family and friends enjoyed our stay here. It's a short drive to beach parking, restaurants & shopping. Charles was a great host with the detailed tour of the home, breakfast items in the refrigerator & quick response to any questions or issues. Would recommend this home to anyone. If it's important for you to have a TV in your bedroom you'll want to know that not every bedroom had a TV the master, twin & office bedrooms do not have TV's (not an issue for me). Had an issue with the elevator which was nothing the owners could have controlled and they had it fixed as soon as they possibly could. The pool was small-ish but perfect for our group. Loved being on the water & being the dolphins every day & other marine life.

Beautiful spacious house in a wonderful part of the world

The house was perfect for our multi-generational family Christmas reunion. Loads of room for relaxing and running around, plus all the amenities we would need for cooking big family dinners. Charles was an excellent host - showing us around the property when we arrived and helping out whenever needed but otherwise not intruding at all. He also left us a thoughtful welcome food package and had some nice Christmas decorations up. The swimming pool was small but perfect for our toddlers to have fun splashing around in. And the boat deck was ideal for dolphin watching every morning! The house was immaculately clean upon arrival and the decor was fantastic. The beaches of Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, St Pete's were only a very short drive away and great fun for us all. I would 100% recommend the house to other families looking for somewhere to stay in the St Petersburg area.

Awesome

The house is so beautiful and the area is gorgeous. We were able to have our family of 13 enjoy this house. It is a great house if you have a large family and want to spend time together and yet have alone time if wanted. Some watched movies in the theatre room while others played pool and cards. The kitchen/dining area were great for getting everyone together to enjoy our meals. The only thing I would say is that if you are about laying in the pool for sun, the sun doesn't really ever hit the pool; but you can sit out at the end of the dock to enjoy the sunshine OR go a mile down the road to the beach which was AMAZING! I highly recommend this house and the caretaker is so friendly and helpful.

Perfect in every way

There is no way anyone would give this house less than a 5 star review. The house, view, and location are all truly awesome. We held our family reunion there and were thrilled that the house is even better than described and fully stocked with everything a large group would need, including a well stocked kitchen. We saw dolphins daily, which was a treat for all of us. Easy drive or walk to the beach, close to restaurants, very quiet street.

Regretfully, I was not available (in England at the time) to greet your party, but my wife was delighted to meet you and equally, had nothing but nice things to say. Please remember us for any future visits to St.Petersburg and we'll be even happier to welcome you once more.

Wonderful vacation on the Boca Ciega Bay! 4/2 - 4/11

We were a multi-family group travelling for Spring Break. We found that the house was exactly as advertised and offered plenty of space and privacy for all. The beach was an easy bike ride away and we took advantage of the bay front location for kayaking and paddle boarding. The kitchen was very well-appointed and offered plenty of room for cooking and enjoying wonderful meals. Charles, the house manager, was welcoming and responsive to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in St. Petersburg and would recommend this vacation spot for other large groups and (or) extended families!

Better than Home away from Home

We feel truly grateful to have had the opportunity to rent this gorgeous home. Upon entering the front door, the house was even larger than the pictures depicted. Our group was 4 families (13 total) and there were many times we "lost" someone/ didn't know where they were. 🙂 We loved that we could be together yet be completely alone also. I was a little concerned with the beach being over a mile away, but we NEVER missed it. We spent 90% of our time at the house, only eating out once. Most of our time was spent on the dock or the outdoor table by the pool. The kids spent 75% of their time in the pool. Charles kept the home well furnished for our stay (bath & kitchen towels, beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels), there was even dish soap and laundry detergent. We couldn't have found a better rental for a totally relaxing Spring Break. Beyond exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much for sharing the home & helping us make lasting memories!!
