“Resort” not so much

Understanding the unfortunate devastation from two hurricanes that occurred last year and needing time to rebuild, the “resort” was more like a dated motel. The elevator did not work so having to go up and down 40 steps each time we came and left became exhausting. (Also seen by other tenants) The AC unit is not powerful enough to cool the room below 78 degrees and does not cool the bathroom at all. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. These are our personal opinions and experience so others may feel differently. The positive was the location which is directly across from the beach with access points. Bradenton beach seemed to be the cleanest beach on the island. Parking was convenient at Tortuga as well.

Small but good place to stay

Overall it was a nice place. The bed was very firm which we don’t like. Communications with the host was not very good. Great location to walk to the beach.

The sliding glass doors with curtains didnt provide privacy or a fewling of security

I wish i had felt more secure in being alone in the room. I felt the owner was a little threating in his communications telling me if i didnt behave the neighbors would let him know...it served its purpose but won't stay again.

Clean room

This room was exactly as advertised. It’s was clean and fine for a couple nights if you want a beach holiday. You can walk to at least five restaurants.

About as expected

Property was clean and room was about the size I expected. Water was turned off completely for 2 days and we were notified one day before this was happening. Owner did not offer any reimbursement for the inconvenience. Shower was large with lots of space in bathroom. Smaller sort of awkward closet space with refrigerator. Quiet space.

We stayed at this unit for four nights for our much needed spring break (teachers). We loved the quietness and the ability to rest and relax. The beach is steps away and there also a couple of pools but we did not use them. Gulf Drive cafe is an easy walk. We set up beach for the day and walked down for breakfast. We then showered and went to different places for dinner close by. All waterfront and all were great. Everything you need is in the condo but be aware that the coffee maker is not a coffee pot. It’s a Keurig in case you hit the store first like we did. There are plenty of towels (both beach and regular) for your needs. There was an umbrella and beach anchor we used but bought a replacement umbrella that was a bit nicer that we left. One thing to note, the listing says four but it really is not ideal for more than two unless it’s small children. The pull out “bed” is right next to the regular bed and it isn’t really a bed but two reclining couches next to each other and they are extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than that, the unit and area was great.

SCENTSY CONVENTION

Such a sweet little studio. Perfect for 2. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge with an amazing shower. Mr. Carter was wonderful with communication. Wonderful beach just steps away!

Overall great stay. It is exactly what is says studio. The entrance is a sliding door that is a little different. Modern and updated. Right across the street from the beach!! That makes it a winner

Across from white sand beach- perfect

Studio was perfect for the two of us. Across the street from the beach, close to restaurants, bars, convenience store. Catch free trolley bus outside the condo. Laid back community.
