If you are looking for a great place to stay in Anna Maria Island and want to be close to the beach you will love these condos. They are located literally on the beach front at Holmes Beach with a private heated pool, large private deck area and outdoor gas grill barbecue. Each condo also has designated parking in front of the building.

There are two condos available for rental, both with views of the Gulf of Mexico. Next door you'll find the 'Café on the Beach', serving homestyle breakfast, lunch and dinner, complete with live music from 6pm. There are many charming restaurants within walking distance and plenty of stores and a major supermarket nearby. There is also a fishing pier next to the Café. Close by on the beach there are volleyball courts and a playground.

Perfect location

This building is now white not orange like what's on the post. This was in a perfect location. The backyard is the beach as well as AMI Beach Cafe. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store. Free trolley was amazing. Used it several times. We were rarely in the unit. It wasnt spectacular but location beats everything else. I would probably stay here again because of the price. Everywhere else was extremely expensive. Then again you pay for what you get. eexcellent.

Amazing Location! I Repeat, Amazing Location!

So the condo is clean and nice. It's not modern or fancy but it is comfortable. Parking is convenient and the location is AMAZING. It's just steps to the beautiful beach and you can walk to everything. There are two restaurants/bars within 100 yards. A short 5-10 minute walk leads you to a grocery store, additional restaurants, and a small park for our little dog to run and do his business. My only minor complaint was the condo had a faintly musty odor. It was a minor inconvenience and would not prevent me from returning. The host was attentive and easy to work with. This place is an old Florida gem.

Needs some tlc.

Location was great. Near beach, central location on island ,great casual restaraunt and bar nearby on beach. The place could use some tlc. Sofas didn’t feel clean, the back closet was really dirty so didn’t hang anything in there. Need to get your own chairs and umbrella there’s were rusted and broken we bought new ones and left them there but doubt they are still there . Faucet in tub looked like it had grease? On it. Do NOT count on trolley system not ever on schedule usually every 45 minute and u don’t know when it left !! Rent a car. or golf cart on the island

Birthday on the Beach

This place was fantastic all around. It's an older building - old Florida kinda-place. Beach is on one side and Skinny's is on the other. We didn't rent a car this time, and didn't miss it. The trolly was great! Made some new friends. We hope to celebrate there again next year. Thank you Anne and Leila.

Stay at Holmes beach

Love location the unit was comfortable. I wished the pool was in working order. Could use some more silverware like small spoons and more forks. Anna was great and responded fast.

We love AMI

We knew that the property was still getting repaired from the hurricanes and that many restaurants still weren't open but we were happy to visit and spend a few bucks to help local businesses. The apartment we stayed in didn't have any damage and was great as usual. Can't wait to come back!

This was the 2nd stay in this unit for us. We enjoyed the unit and the location; the proximity to the beach and our favorite places to go make it a great place to stay. Will do it again next time.

Clean with steps from the beach

I have mostly positives to stay. The kitchen is well stocked, and there is a free laundry in the back of the building for residents and guests. Nonetheless, I had read the reviews of others before reserving, and thought that the comments from 2022 stating that the furniture needed a little upgrading might have inspired anticipated changes. It still needs some small changes. The bed is lumpy, and the armchair in the living room is not comfortable and sinks. Although steps away from the beach, you will find yourself next to a barbecue area where some beachgoers play music too loud and smoke or honk their horns. They don't stay forever, fortunately, and the beach is beautiful with plenty of room to escape others. We did not need a car, and we could walk to a Publix grocery within 5 minutes. Nearby restaurants include Mango Fish and Chips run by a New Zealander and Australian, a German place for schnitzel, and a French crêperie. Everything thing is great with this condo, especially for the price and location. Again, it requires some upgrades, but other than that quite good.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

What a great place for a beach getaway. We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and experiencing the laid back (but congested roads) AMI experience. Everything went very smoothly checking in and checking out. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beach side holiday!

Awesome Condo & Location

This was our first time to Anna Maria Island and we were unsure of where to stay and all I can say is that I am so thankful we found this property. You can sit in the living room or on the balcony and see the ocean. The beach is extremely close so traveling back and forth between the beach and condo is convenient. I traveled with my 5 year old and the pool was fantastic for breaks from the ocean and a quick after dinner swim. This condo is conveniently located to grocery stores, drug stores, and restaurants. The manager of the property responded to my text messages at 9:30pm at night, willing to help, and had great communication with us regarding our room. This property even has a gas and charcoal grill down by the pool for anyone that wants to grill and sit poolside. The last amazing quality of this place is being able to see sunsets on the water. We would definitely come back and stay at this condo.

Great unit for a relaxing weekend

This unit was well cleaned and well maintained. It was perfectly stocked with linens, towels, cutlery, etc. The building only has 8 total units in it. So, it’s not crowded. While it is very close to the public beach, the pool area for the condo has nice walls that make it feel somewhat secluded. The beach is right there, and the free AMI trolley stop is close by. Our host was great and communicative.

Cozy!

We were right next to a state beach park that had restaurants, bars, gift shops, umbrellas were available at a cost of course. The room had some beach chairs for use. The trolley is very convenient! The wrong keypad code was given, but the manager answered the phone right away, so all was well. If you're older, the stairs are steep, especially the last one to the 2nd floor, but there were hand rails on one side. The balcony had a great sunset view!!

Location! Location!

This condo is all about the location. It is literally steps to the beautiful public beach. If you like people watching, lots of activity, live music every night, great food and drinks at the beach bar than this is your place. It is not fancy, which didn’t bother us. Perfect for two people. Had everything we needed. Walk to grocery store, and a couple restaurants. There were beach chairs or you could rent from the public beach. This unit is one of only 2 units with a beach facing balcony where we enjoyed morning coffee. Could use a little TLC inside, but didn’t bother us. Had an issue with unit not being cleaned before we got there but the manager and the owner bent over backwards to make it right. Will stay here again.

Great Location

The location of the condo was perfect, close to the beach, restaurants and music. It is a little small but it worked for the two of us. Enjoyed the outdoor seating of the complex along with the pool/grilling area.

Pool disappointment

The location is wonderful. But so disapointed that the pool not heated. Unit not really completely ready for occupancy. Bathtub/shower so difficult to turn on. Maintence guy needed to help. Shower curtain disgusting. However, building mgr arranged for a new one to be delivered the very next day. Black ring around underside of toilet rim. Balcony door stuck. Maintenance guy cleaned the track and then it was operational. He replaced tv remote control batteries too. Then tv worked. Thermostat batteries also required replacing (flashed the whole time). Other cleanliness issues, i.e. dirty around door and cupboard knobs. Bed very comfortable. That was a plus.
