Beautiful property with lovely original flooring, light fixtures and huge picture windows overlooking the water. Perfect for our traveling group of 6. We made a cup of the provided coffee and sat and watched the boats, fog, deer, quail, and birds. Very relaxing, private and quiet. Beds were soft and lovely, we slept so well. Great location for visiting all there is to do in that area and charming little town. We were there for a wedding, and want to come again to see what we missed. Fantastic area. Owners stocked thoughtful appreciated amenities.

Such a charming house with a drop dead view of the water. Everything was clean and well stocked. The kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. Both bathrooms were spotless. I wish we'd had more time to just hang out at the house and enjoy the games and movies provided.There was a welcome book with everything we needed to know about the house. The host was friendly and even though away was able to solve an issue that came up.

If I could give this review higher than a five, I would. The view over the harbor itself was an easy five. The cottage was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed; nothing generic here. The location was close to a hospital and a busy highway, but you would not know it given how it was tucked into its location. And Emma was sincerely interested in ensuring we had a great stay.

Everything you need

Loved the house! Plenty of room to spread out, enjoyed grilling and eating outside, washer and dryer enabled us to pack less, and easy and wonderful communication with host!!! Loved the little touches like binoculars and books of the area. Would definitely stay again!!

Total gem!

First, Port Angeles is a great town and the perfect place to stay for access to Olympic NP. More important, this home is cozy, well stocked with everything you might need, and has incredible views of the harbor and beyond. I could have spent hours staring out the living room window! The space was clean and inviting. We loved having a glass of wine at the fire table outside when the evening cooled off. Emma, the homeowner, sent an ambulance email with so much great info on everything Port Angeles has to offer. We wished we had another few nights to stay and hope to come back!Many thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Amazing

Wow the minute you walk in and see the view just amazing. Enjoyed watching the deer, birds and ships! House was very clean and just as described. Owners thought of everything coolers and ice packs books and maps to take along to park. Town was wonderful good choice of restaurants and grocery stores.

ONP Port Angeles

Family trip to Pacific Northwest with 6 people. First stop was Olympic National park and staying at this beautiful property. Great starting point for Madison, Marymere and Sol Duc falls as well as Hurricane Hill and Ridge. The first day we arrived we explored the waterfront trail where we saw otters, seals and Mountain beavers all within a short walk from the property. You can also walk to the wharf from the trail. The host was very friendly and accommodating letting us check in a little early. They had everything you needed and some extra touches like drinks in the fridge and some candy with a welcoming note which after a long day of travel was really appreciated. The home has a huge picture window looking out at the sound. This was the evening gathering place where we would relax and pass the binoculars around taking the scenery in. I highly recommend this property. You won’t regret staying here.

The view!

This home was perfect for our 2 night stay. The view from the windows was stunning and we even saw a deer just a few feet away! I loved how the owners had left a handwritten welcome note and fresh flowers, you can tell they take pride in what they do. The house has a very convenient location for port Angeles and Olympic National park.

Beautiful home by the water

It was more than we expected. The view from the living area was breathtaking. Emma had the kitchen fully stocked. And everything was clean and inviting. She gave us recommendations for dining and for sight-seeing. We were so glad she recommended going to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic NP. The day was cloudless and we could see for ever. We will definitely return to Port Angeles and stay at this lovely house.

We were awestruck by the beauty of the home overlooking the strait. We didn’t want to leave. Beds were so comfortable as was the sofas and chairs in living area. Emma was a wonderfully host and even provided some nice amenities in the fridge like water and soda. So appreciated!

Sets a High Bar

We were hesitant to choose this property at first, thinking we wanted a more private location; however, we can't imagine staying anywhere else now! First, even though there are other houses around, it was extremely quiet and private. In fact, we never saw or heard another person. Once inside, you feel like you're alone on an oceanside cottage, as an awesome view of the ocean greets you; so soothing and relaxing! The beds were super comfy; the kitchen well stocked, super clean; host extremely easy to communicate with. And the location is ideal for day trips to Olympic, Hurricane Ridge, etc. And the local restaurants were all superior in their food and service. Very difficult to leave after three days; could see ourselves living here for sure. Definitely don't hesitate and lose out on staying here, like we almost did. After we left the area and went on to the second half of our trip several hours west, all we did was complain about the lodgings we had moved to, compared to this lovely home!

Absolutely Lovely

This property was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the waterfront after a day of exploring Hurricane Ridge and Crescent Lake in Olympic State Park.The home is beautifully outfitted with luxurious linens and comfortable furniture throughout. Hosts, Emma and Scott have thought of every detail from welcoming chocolates and flowers to morning coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped.Highly recommend this home. We had a terrific time and would not hesitate to rent again if we returned to the area.
