Privat Lakefront Hideaway med Dock !!!

Detta är ett två sovrum, ett och ett halvt bad, stuga vid vattnet direkt på sjön Nantahala. Denna fastighet är inte på något sätt en lyxanläggning; Men om du letar efter en ren, välskött, vidsträckt egendom med vacker utsikt i närheten av Lake Nantahala, Appalachian Trail, Wayah Bald, Whitewater Rafting och otaliga utomhusaktiviteter i Western North Carolina, kan det här stället vara för dig!

Vi har haft denna stuga i vår familj i 70 år och vill gärna dela den med dig. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök, två sovrum, ett och ett halvt bad, ett vardagsrum med öppen spis och en matsal och stor däck med veranda swing från där du ser vacker utsikt över Nantahala Lake och de omgivande bergen. Medan sommar och vår är bra för vattensporter, forsränning, vandring, semestrar, etc. - spendera tid här uppe i höst med växlande löv och kalla nätter är spektakulära !!

Vi har en brygga vid sjön där det har funnits flera generationer som har haft fisk, bad och sola här på sjön. Medan det inte finns en båt, kan kajaker, kanoter, jetskis och pontonbåtar hyras från närliggande företag. Det är lätt och bekvämt att få "ut på vattnet" från vår plats vid sjön.

Det är också viktigt att notera att denna egendom inte ligger i ett grannskap; Vi befinner oss i en privat vik med endast en granne med väldigt liten trafik. Oavsett om du letar efter en romantisk tillflyktsort, en helg bort från allt eller en hemmabas för utomhusupplevelser kan det här stället vara för dig !!

Weddings at the lake

This is better for camping trip if you want a cabin rather than a tent. No AC, no fireplace, very small parking area directly next to winding road around a mountain. Just have to be extra vigilant for cara coming around the turn. Bring a fan or AC unit. They need to replace front door access and spruce up the flooring and door jambs etc. none of doors actually closed and floor was giving out and felt like it would break in various areas. Maybe sure up the over all foundation to make sure the place doesn’t fall off the mountain.

Gorgeous lake view

Wonderful privacy & location. Just one mile to very nice Marina. Trail to the dock is not too long, or too steep. Really nice sunset/ lake / mountain view is the best!! Owner has very good communication with renter. I'll go back!

The View Is Beyond Spectacular / Close To Marina and Stores

The view from the deck and dock can't be stressed enough here. It is just breathtaking. We had a blast floating around the cove in our tubes, kayaking around the lake trying to catch fish (it ain't easy here...be warned fishermen!), and just chilling out over good food and drink. I'll return with my wife. Highly recommended and at such a reasonable price.

Mountain Lake Getaway

The deck has a beautiful view of the sunset across the lake, no other houses are visible. The water in front of the float and ladder is deep enough to dive into or tie up your boat that you can launch at the ramp a mile away or rent from the marina, a mile the other way. The house is high enough to give a great view but not so high that it is a chore to carry stuff down to the float. There is no cell phone or internet service, hotspots are available at local businesses and the outside the public library. Open doors and windows in the well-shaded cabin help keep things cool. Five minutes walk to the Bartram Trail which meets the Appalachian Trail at Wine Spring Bald, nothing better than a swim in the lake after a hike. We would stay here again!

Hidden gem!

The views and lake access was amazing, great place to unplug and relax! There really is zero service so be ready for that check the weather and have an itinerary planned if before you go if you plan on doing any day trips. Well appointed kitchen, great covered deck and water so clear you can see the bottom if he sun hits just right! Local marina has a great selection of boats and a nice little grill withoutdoor seating. Pick up your groceries and beer before you head down as the closest place is Andrews about half hour away, but ita a beautiful drive!

Family Wedding Stay

The cabin was the perfect location to all facilities around the lake which made our stay easy and enjoyable. The cabin was clean and comfortable, perfect for our needs and especially enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and the dock. Would stay here again and definitely recommend this cabin.

Rustic with beatiful lake and some road noise

My girlfriend and I knew what we were getting into: No internet, no TV, no cell phone, and no A/C. I love this part of NC, but the thing that kind of stinks is every motorcyclist around wants to ride on Wayah Rd at some point. So, during the day, being close to the road is annoying, but from my thru hike on the AT, I was aware of the motorcycles. I loved swimming and all the beauty. Unbeknownst to us was that we would get to see three nights of July 4th fireworks. It was quite spectacular with lasers, fireworks, and classic music. I thought it might be too rustic for my girlfriend, but getting away from the grid was a great diversion from all of life's constant commercialism and news. She said, "this is just my speed."

Great Break Away

This trip was wonderfully well needed. Being that there was no internet, phone and TV's we got to spend undivided attention with our daughter and made lots of memories. The cabin was great, very clean and sufficient for all our needs. Could not ask for a better trip.

Good for the price

We stayed here for the solar eclipse and it served it's purpose. Pros: The price and the lake. Cons: No AC, no Wi-Fi. It's said if you need signal you can go down to the cafe, but the Wi-Fi isn't that great. Be aware you'll be off the grid when you're there. Would I stay here again? Yes.

Wonderful getaway!

The view is spectacular! The cabin has everything you need. It's great to be out of cell reception and away from the internet. Great time to escape from technology. My sister cancelled on me at the last minute, so I invited a friend and she's decided we need to go back.

Great times had by all

Good place to just hang out! The swimming off the dock is amazing and the water is clear down to 10ft or more. This is the place you want to stay if you want to get away from the tv and internet. It was a place that my sons enjoyed playing board games, swimming hard, and going rafting on the Nantahala river that is 30 min away. The place is recently updated and it is very nice, clean and a pleasant break from one's normal routine. The view is great and the house is in a very private cove. Great owner and easy to get to ....large parking area as well.
