This is a beautiful home. Plenty of space. Close enough to Franklin to go into town and not feel like you have been in the car all day. We will stay here again.

Awful

We were very disappointed with the condition of the house. The windowsills were full of mold. The toilets were not clean, and there was no toilet bowl cleaner. There were dozens of dead flies. We bought a broom and dustpan and we cleaned.

Lovely Home

We enjoyed our short stay in this spacious, comfortable and lovely home. The kitchen had an abundance of cookware, silverware and cookware. It also had all the appliances necessary for an extended stay.The location was close to Franklin and easy to get to restaurants and shopping.Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful experience

This property met or exceeded all expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped with good quality utensils. Overall the house was awesome, comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended.

Our favorite VRBO

This is our 2nd or 3rd time we have stayed here. We absolutely love this place. It feels just like home when we walk in the door. The location is close to family and friends nearby and also close to anything we want to do on our visits. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully this house is available.

We stay at this property as often as possible. Lovely place and perfect for us. Always clean and neat. Feels like home. Beyond well Equipped kitchen. We always put corn out for the deer and enjoy their visits. We can’t wait until our next visit. Only thing better would be owning it ourselves.

Cute, comfortable, great kitchen and beautiful view! Really enjoyed your house, only wish you had some heat strips, or something to help out on the really cold days. We would definitely return to this lovely place.

Great stay again

This is our third time staying here and we look forward to coming back again soon. Carolyn is accommodating as always. Love the view out back with deer in the yard every day and lots of birds, including hummingbirds. We'lll be back.

Great country retreat

The house was wonderful and quiet. We saw a family of deer the first night. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of cookware. We brought our two dogs and found a great park for a walk. The towns people were friendly and the overall spirit of the town was loving and family oriented. We would definitely live to stay again. Thank you.

Family Time

Thank you for sharing your home. This is the third year we have enjoyed your lovely home. It has anything you may need in the kitchen and the beds are really comfortable. I enjoyed watching the birds and deer off the back porch. The drive is easy to get in and out of. The location is off enough to be quiet but close enough to local stores if you should need to get something you may have forgotten. Looking forward to next year's trip.

Absolutely lovely and comfortable home

We loved staying in this home. Everything was immaculate, clean, bright, cozy and comfortable. It certainly felt like home while we were there. The view out the back door is amazing! Wonderful location close to the main highway as well as town. We did get snow flurries and light ice while on vacation and I will say the house stayed comfortably heated for these Floridians not used to the temperature. Carolyn is nice and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We will most definitely be back soon for our next trip to the mountains. :-)

Easy Check In

We stayed at this property for two weeks. The home is dated but spacious. The beds slept wonderful but the furniture in the living area was not comfortable. There is a lot of iron in the water. The inside of the home has a great open plan but the outside needs a lot of care including the yard. My communication with the owner was excellent. I would have loved to give the property a 5 star but the problems I have noted keeps me from doing so.

Pre-Thanksgiving getaway with family

Our family enjoyed our stay in the mountains. The house is easy to navigate to yet nicely hidden in the woods with excellent views from the back balcony. We saw several deer during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped and an Ingles is just up the road. The main living space is roomy and master bedroom and bathroom are large. We had plenty of hot water and two bathrooms is great with teenagers. The DSL Internet was good and Verizon cellular was surprising fast, which was great for remote work. The stand-alone wood fireplace was so easy to use and put out a lot of heat. Just minutes from downtown Franklin and easy access to major roads. We would stay here again.

Very dissatisfied.

We arrived after noon on the 11th of October and found that the landscape was misrepresented. Though it was in a wooded area, the property was in disarray. I had to physically move limbs out of the way in order to get to the front of the house. Then the house had not been cleaned after the last renter. We did not stay but made other arrangements for the time we were in Cullowhee. I talked to the owner, Carolyn to let her know, and even though the housekeeper came, it was too late. We had people meeting us and could not take any more chances. We were not refunded any money, even though the conditions were unacceptable. We will not recommend this property to friends and family.
