Family get together

The only concern we had were the showers. The floors were very slippery and almost dangerous. There were some no slip strips but they did not cover enough of the surface. Overall we loved the building and the spaciousness. Even with so many people it never felt like there was a crowding of spaces. We loved it!

Spacious and Accommodating

We had a great stay at The Sweet Escape with our multi-generational family. The house was clean and accommodated all of us comfortably with several spaces to hang out and enjoy. Great communication with easy arrival and departure instructions. We will be back!

Book club retreat

We enjoyed this property very much! It has one more bedroom than we anticipated, which was perfect for our party of six. The kitchen was spacious and easy for all of us to navigate to prepare meals.

Perfect for Family Holiday

Our extended family of 11 stayed here in December and the place was perfect! Even though the weather outside was frightful, there was so much right on site to keep everyone entertained. We especially enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, fire place, and big dining room table for family games. It was also great to use the pool and game room at the club house. The beds were all very comfortable and well-arranged in the house so that families could claim some private space and still hang out together in the shared areas. All around a wonderful place for our family to celebrate the holidays!

The property is great and accommodates our group of 10. The only issue we have is the heating system. Hope the owners address this.

Great place for all the family

Stayed here with my extended family. Plenty of room for all of us and the amenities were just what we needed. Galena Territory has a lot to offer and this house was a great home base.

Galena Home

Very clean & wonderful space for our large family. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Nice working kitchen where we could cook and all gather. Large dining table perfect for games.

High School Girlfriends

We fully enjoyed our stay at Galena Territory again this year! This is our 3rd year in a row at the Territory's, and the 1st time at this house, which was Exceptional. Kitchen, Dinning Room, large Family Room and 6 bedrooms, what more could you ask for. Very quite area and private home, we enjoyed the surroundings. Looking forward to stay at this home again. Great Weekend Get Away

Stayed here on a girls trip over the weekend. House is very spacious and the winter scenery was beautiful but there was plenty to do indoors as well.

Lots of rules

This property is nice but there are a lot of rules and kinda ridiculous ones too. You can only use up to 8 trash bags but they only give you six. The toilet is the Scott very cheap paper. The layout on the main floor is very odd but the downstairs is very nice. The kids loves which is the main reason we go

Something for everyone

The actual house and surroundings totally lived up to its reviews and information. It was perfect for our family, from the youngest at 8 to the oldest at 71. The Owners' Club passes were a great benefit for the kids and teenagers.

Perfect Accomodation

We had a large group get together, the location to DT Galena was quick and easy, the home was large with plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub was a bonus! The owner was super responsive and so helpful. Would love to stay again in the future!

We live in Dubuque, Iowa and come over frequently to this area to relax.

We loved the layout of the home, large kitchen and the screened in porch around the hot tub. The privacy of the trees and the wildlife that it attracts is fun to watch.
