Great area for friends and family to get away from the city and relax. The area has something for everyone. Browse through Galena stores, grab lunch, spend time with friends. The home is approximately 6 miles from downtown Galena. 8 passes to Galena Territory Owners Club that includes outdoor/indoor swimming pool, game room, tennis, fitness room, and basketball court. Lake Galena marina has boat and kayak rentals. 26 miles of hiking trails. Near Thunder Bay Falls. Things to do nearby: antiques shopping, golfing, bicycling, hiking, spa, restaurants, wine tours, trolley tours, plus riverboat casino in Dubuque, IA. In winter time there is skiing/snowboarding @ Chestnut Mountain Resort plus summer sport activities. This is a Log Home, Country Setting, Wooded View. We have Foosball, Pool Table, Hot Tub, Satellite TV, DVD/VCR Player, Stereo, 2nd family room in lower level, all seasons porch. 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, plus a queen sofa sleeper, and daybed with trundle

House was very nice 6 guys on weekend get away (son bachelor get away) round of golf ,bags beer ect .The house very clean well stocked with everything you need home owner was great asked all questions before we showed up let have early check in .No doubt we will stay there again check it out thanks again

Beautiful home, plenty of space for my family. Enjoyed the game room, hot tub and beautiful surroundings. Disappointed with the fire pit area, unable to use. Needs repair. Grandkids were disappointed we couldn’t have a fire and s’mores. A few glitches along the way but Melissa is great at responding to messages right away, she was a joy to work with.

Photo did not show steps to get into home

Im in wheelchair and had a hard time to get in the house. We had ants in kichen counter and getting into our food. The bbq grille didnt work. Heat only 1 burner so meat wouldnt cook. Front door handle kept coming off. Very disappointed.

The house met and surpassed expectations. The owner was very responsive with questions and instructions. It was further than we anticipated from downtown but it all worked out.

Great Girls Weekend

The house was very clean & comfortable. The only thing is the coffee maker didn't work well. But it is a great house, fabulous location & communication with management was flawless. I highly recommend.

Fall Girl’s Trip

This property was awesome for our fall girl’s trip. Sleeping arrangements were great for eight women and there was plenty of room to socialize. It was easy to explore Galena and we even enjoyed activities at the Owner’s Club.

Girls trip

This property was an excellent place for a group of friends. Spacious with plenty of seating and a nice size kitchen. It was very private with an easy drive into Galena.

Amazing stargazing

We had a great family get together from waking to sleeping. The care of the responsible community to avoid outdoor lights was especially appreciated. A wonderful respite from the city. With clear nights we saw ALL the stars.

Large house in a great location

The house was nice and convenient, plenty of space for the group of 12 people (adults and children). Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Great location in Galena Territory. Passes to owner's club were included.

Wonderful time, just a few items to point out…

Stayed at this property for a girls weekend with my mom, sisters, and sisters-in-law. Loved how private it was as well as the proximity to town. The hot tub was wonderful as was the cute screened in 4-season and room. A handful of things to consider with this place…. All the beds but one, we’re very uncomfortable, the kitchen was not super stocked and can use some better quality things (need more coffee mugs and the knives were beyond dull, also no scissors,) the back stairs are VERY slippery when wet (rained one of the days we were there) and my sister in law slipped and fell down 4 steps - maybe some of those sandpaper grips for the stairs would be helpful, and last item to consider would be that almost every outdoor light near the hot tub was burnt out. Other than these items, the cabin was beautiful and spacious. Met most of our needs and the owner was super responsive.
