Nice location, dated condo

Great location, parking included, gated property. Pool was clean and warm, hot tube was scorching hot. Walking distance to restaurants and the bay. Condominium building is older and not very clean, sticky stuff on the hall floor for the 3 nights we were there, trash and construction stuff in the stairwell. No dishwasher, but there was soap and used sponges. Random food items left in cabinets. Only 3 small old bath towels, 3 Walmart beach towels. Shower has good pressure and was hot, but the curtain doesn't keep all the water in so the floor gets wet. Beds have think foam toppers over old dated mattress, no closet in master, small armoire. Beach chairs and cart were rusted, well used, but sufficed. No glass globes on ceiling fan light, whole condo needs a refresh. Second balcony looks over parking lot. More than 4 people would be tight. Again, great location, so was fine for 3 nights.

Relaxing Beach Getaway

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property is located right on the beach, offering breathtaking ocean views. Waking up to the sound of waves, watching the sunrise and enjoying coffee on the private balcony (or down on the beach) was pure bliss. The condo was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It was stocked with everything needed for cooking. It was missing dish soap and garbage bags, but we just ran to CVS and got what we needed. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. This rental truly felt like a slice of paradise. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Convenient

Appreciated early check-in and quick response from owners. The condo had everything you might need for the beach tucked in a closet (wagon, umbrella, cooler, chairs). It’s a short walk to the beach, so overall this was convenient. However, it could stand some updating and the sofa had a smoke smell to it.

Great location on the beach

This condo is right on the beach and it’s great to sit on your balcony looking at the ocean! It was a bit compact for 6 people. The rooms had good size beds but due to room size, it left little room to move around. There are some beach items in closet which is nice. Overall, good stay for the price.

Perfect Location!

My daughter and I stayed in this two bedroom condo overlooking the beach and it was perfect for us! It is in a great location, close to everything, and was a short walk to the water. We felt very safe, which was good for us traveling alone, and loved the gated parking lot. I talked to the owner our first day and he was readily available if we had any questions or needed anything. My husband and I are making plans to go back and stay in this condo on a future trip!

South Padre Island Condo

Unit was clean, spacious, well maintained, decorated nicely, close proximity to everything (including the beach.) Pool and hot tub were great! Staff were Friendly. All amenities were Superb!! Gated, locked parking was reassuring. Sits in Low noise area on the beach. And We Will Definitely Stay Here Next Year 🌴🌴🌞‼️

Condo Heaven!

This Condo owner surely thought of everything! From extra towels to beach gear, they thought of everything. We had extra towels and a fully stocked kitchen... Keurig, regular coffee maker, toaster, microwave, TWO cutting boards, multiple pots, pans, and utensils. The oven, range, and fridge all worked to perfection The decor is so cute and the 2 balconies have a wonderful beach view or an awesome nightlife and view of the island sling shot ride. The pool was well kept and travel to the actual beach is conveniently close. Highly recommend. We've tried a few other places on the island but we'll never book anywhere else again. Huge thanks to the condo owner... Hospitality 10/10!

Summer Vacation

This was a great rental! We really enjoyed our stay and everything was as described. The staff at Aquaris did a great job keeping the common areas clean and making us feel welcome. We would certainly stay here again.

Amazing, Clean, Perfect

The condo was exactly as the pictures show. It was beautiful, on the ocean, and very accommodating. The staff in the condo kept the grounds and inside very clean at all times. Its a perfect getaway.

Dated but nice and clean!

The hosts were extremely accommodating and east to contact. Please note there is no dishwasher and the “fish-eye” camera makes things look lots larger. The property is beautifully maintained and on-site staff is friendly and helpful. Beach chairs and umbrellas are $35 a day. Nevertheless, our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed people watching as throngs used the beach access road just a few feet from us. (Avoid Saturdays and Sundays!) All in all, we had great beach time.

Wonderful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aquarius 202. The condo is decorated in a beach theme. The bed and furniture we’re comfortable. The unit was clean. The heated pool and hot tub were fabulous. Best of all the location is amazing. Private beach access and a view of the ocean from the balcony made our stay so wonderful. Restaurants and activities are within walking distance and there are some that are just a short drive away. We would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome experience and very clean

The view from the room was amazing in the morning and at night. A short walk to the beach and central located to everything. A lot of great restaurants with in walking distance. The meatball was one of our favorites and Louis all you can eat prime rib and sea food. We enjoyed our honeymoon at the island everyone was really nice and friendly.

Lovely condo on the beach

We were there for three nights. We enjoyed the location, easy access to the beach and many restaurants in the area. The accommodations were as described with one exception. While there were only three of us, it sleeps six. The issue was lack of glasses: one wine glass, 3 juice and 2 tall glasses. I realize that these might seem like no big deal but I expected more. Old kitchen sponges, missing utensils etc. Everything was great except the kitchen was lacking. In a number of areas.

Perfect view and space for a small family

We enjoyed our stay! With the two bedrooms it was perfect for a small family. The kitchen was stocked enough to make some meals there and the balcony view is so wonderful. We caught the fireworks off of the second balcony one night too. Definitely would love to return sometime.

Nice abode with spectacular views and beautiful grounds.

The outside lawn area of the Aquarius is really lush! Super fluffy grass...it's the greenest green! The pool area is stunning, especially at night. The inside of the condo needs a very good cleaning and a new stove (not all burners work) and new pots and pans. The bathroom with the shower needs the vent above to me cleaned and painted. There is a really nice cabinet next to the dining table but it's unusable. Huge vase with many sea shells taking up the entire counter space. Perhaps a new trash can that has a working lid. The smaller guest room has a closet but it is unusable; far too many items for the beach are tucked away in there. One of the lamps in the living room doesn't work. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! We put together a puzzle that was in the condo and to our surprise all the pieces were actually there! Our stay was a BIG slice of happy! :)

Relaxing and enjoyable

We really enjoyed our stay! Checkin was easy and quick. The room overall was nice, was there things that could be worked on yes but it didn’t hinder our stay. The beds were comfortable slept great! The king bed has a memory foam which is great for those who like it. There were condiments in the cabinet that were expired. Cookware needs some attention and the cooking utensils for those who want to cook. Everything you need is there. I would make list after check in so you don’t buy things that are there. This was our first time to SPI…my kids are ready to come back! We often go to Florida for pretty beaches so sad it took us this long to visit SPI! Thank you Doug!
