"Crabcake" lever upp till sitt namn! Vi har hittat en härlig semesterstuga semesteruthyrning i Corolla med alla klockor och visselpipor, inklusive en fantastisk havsutsikt, hiss och teaterrum! Naturligtvis finns det en privat pool och en badtunna, men du får även möbler av hög kvalitet och en täckt poolbar med bar, TV, fullt kylskåp med frys för alla dina drycker och is, plus en diskbänk och bänkskivor i granit! Regn eller sken kan du "Maga upp till baren!" och njut av dina favoritlåtar med utomhushögtalarna. Inuti hittar du det professionellt inredda med smakfull inredning med bekvämligheter som alla kommer att älska. Gå till den översta nivån med hissen (du måste ta första steg in i huset för att få tillgång till hiss på den lägre nivån). LCD-TV-apparater och Blu-Ray-spelare finns i alla sovrum och sex av de åtta sovrummen har kungssängar. Hemmabiorummet med 7 teaterstolar i läderstil kommer att göra för fantastiska filmkvällar! Det stora rummet har inte bara TV och stereo med surroundljud och eldstad ... kolla in havsutsikten från däck! Fantastiskt! Lovely Space for Our Family Holiday

Our family has not been together for a the holidays for 10 years. We wanted to find a space where we could all gather, bring our families and enjoy ourselves. Crabcake fit the bill - lots of space, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and couches, wonderful location right by the beach. The kitchen and family room were well used and we loved the long table where we could all sit together for meals and play games. The "movie" room was well used and cozy, as was the hot tub. We were there during a cold snap so having a great space to hang out in was appreciated. Close to grocery stores, not far to drive to other spots (Kitty Hawk, lighthouses, etc.) the location was great. And great response from the property management team. We would definitely stay there again.

Great House & Location. Unfortunately…

The house amenities and location were great! Quick and easy walk to the beach. There were maintenance issues upon check-in. One entry door lock was broken to walk-up 3rd floor deck. We couldn’t lock the door - so the first night we rigged something up with a kitchen chair to secure the door. We then requested a dowel to be dropped off and we had to cut it down ourselves. The maintenance person (who was wonderful) fixed the lock on Wednesday. We had 2 pocket doors broken upon arrival. One was for the half bath - so that was unusable until Tuesday-when the maintenance person fixed it. The 2nd broken pocket door was for the bathroom in one of the bedrooms. They were unable to fix this during our stay. I find it hard to believe that none of these issues were reported prior to our arrival. We had some issues with 3 bed spreads that were dirty and had to be washed, by us, upon arrival. The communication with the property manager, Outer Banks Blue, was not great. I had to call them several times in our first few days and promises of return calls didn’t always happen. We won’t be back to this property while managed by this property manager. We will consider it if the owner(s) change management companies. This was our 7th year, vacationing in OBX. This was our first time in Carolla and we loved it!

50th Anniversary Celebration.

There were some cleanliness issues upon our arrival. We dealt with most of them ourselves. Didn’t want to ruin our week fretting too much about it. Don’t expect over-the-top and you’ll have a happy week at Crabcake. Our house accommodated 16 adults nicely for family gathering or privacy. The lower level bunks weren’t the best for the two occupants, but they accepted the assignments nicely. All other bedrooms were comfortable. Liked the spacious upper level and the table that accommodated everyone. Nice decks. Plenty of TVs and movie theatre was fun. Lower level fridge is a bust. Shelving and drawers broken. I’m sure they’ll get that fixed. Be sure to buy ice, the ice maker can’t keep up. Heed the “suggested packing list”, all but the hangers were needed. Beach access was nice and had nice ocean views from the upper deck. Don’t rent carts for the beach. Can’t use them over the stairway on the beach path. Of course the Crabcake photos were taken when all was new, but we expected a little wear. The kitchen has a lot of amenities, but the storage areas were a little helter skelter. The organizers in our group dug in a little. The home is strictly limited to 5 vehicles. Outer Banks Blue provided two parking passes at the community pool (very close to the house) which we had to use on the nights caterers needed parking at the house. (Check out outstanding Chef RJ Miles of Beach Box Catering and OBX Boil Co.) We loved being together at the Crabcake and made lots of great memories on Outer Banks.

Good location to the beach.

This property would have been an amazing place but there were issues that arose and should have been addressed right away. The house may not have been used for sometime because it smelled stale. Not one issue raised by us was addressed during our stay. Something simple like the filtered on the main refrigerator needed to be replaced but wasn’t. I wish that our concerns would have been addressed with more than a generic text response and no follow through. We will not return to this property or use Outer Blue again.

Beautiful home!

This home is absolutely beautiful! The theater room, pool table and shuffle board table were a huge plus and a huge hit. The outdoor bar was also amazing. The only thing I have negative to say is the kitchen did not seem very clean to me. The refrigerator had crumbs on the top shelf and the outside of it was gross. I wiped it out, however, along with the counter tops as they didn't seem to have been wiped down either. I also had to sweep the kitchen floor and was able to fill up the dust pan. The cleaning crew had also left trash on the counter. We also found random food/crumbs in other parts of the house as well as clothing I am assuming from the previous guest. I did send pictures to the rental company and they did offer to send the cleaning crew back but I was just ready to start my vacation and told them not to worry about it and that I could wipe off the countertops and the refrigerator. Other than this problem, this house is perfect especially for large families/groups.

Everything we expected and more!

This trip was to get away for 5 moms and our kids during this crazy year of Covid. We decided to pick somewhere close enough to our hometown and settled on Corolla. When we decided to choose this house, I will be honest, I thought it was too good to be true. But I was quickly proven wrong when we arrived. Absolutely gorgeous home, perfect location and had everything we could possibly need for our 4 day get away. Enough space for all and more than enough to keep our kids occupied. Great memories were made at this home and I hope that we can do this again next year! Thanks again for a great spring break from a group of moms and kids who desperately needed it.

Great Place to Stay

This property was great. We went to celebrate my boyfriends and his brothers birthday and they were very impressed with the layout and the overall look of the place. The view of the Ocean was just right, and even though it rained the entire time we were there we appreciated the games, the pool table , and the movie theater they provided. However, the only downside to this house was that the projector in the movie room would overheat which messed up movie time for everyone. I recommend getting this fixed or purchasing a new one. Other than that we would definitely like to stay in this house again. Keep up the awesome work.
