Our family, children and grandchildren stayed in both units for 3 days. The pool and beach were huge hits with everyone. The units were very clean and well stocked with beach towels, chairs etc.

This is a great property for families, especially those with kids and travelling with extended family, like grandparents. The location is perfect, the staff is super communicative, and I couldn't have asked for more.

Barefoot Hideaway

This house was great for our family of 12 plus 2 babies! Access to the beach and location were awesome! The pool was a great addition, we were able to get back and forth to the beach easily with just a short walk. Space was excellent inside the house, except some rooms did not have a dresser! We cooked or grilled every night and had all that we needed! Overall a great location, home and we had a great time would definitely recommend!

Amazing Place!

This place housed 8 adults and 10 kids seamlessly and was a perfect vacation spot. The pool was awesome and two kitchens really came in handy. Would highly recommend!

Great House and location.

My family and I really enjoyed the house. We liked the split levels so it felt like we each had our own area. Loved the top porch and overlooking the ocean. The pool was a good size for all of us that went in. We usually stayed in or out by the pool pretty late and were bummed a couple times when lights went out before quiet time, but we sent a message to the owners and they kept it on for us until quiet time which we really appreciated. It was easy talking with them on whatever request we had. We weren't sure about the length of the boardwalk from seeing it in the pictures, especially when we did have some older couples with us but when we got there it was not that long and pretty easy to walk and they had a sit down area if they ever needed a rest. The location of the house was a little tricky when we first arrived, it was dark out and our GPS took us to the apartment complex next door, but after doing some looking around we located the mailbox with the appropriate driveway for us. After that we enjoyed the location a lot, not too busy so it made coming and going very easy. Overall, we enjoyed our time in the house and would recommend it to anyone especially as a big family get together.

Fantastic Family House

We stayed at this property in January 2025 with a total of 14 family members. This set up was ideal! It was great having 4 bedrooms with king beds plus the bunk rooms. It was nice to be able to spread out and have two kitchens. The view from the upper porch was so beautiful. It was a short walk down the path to the beach. The beach was clean and perfect to looking for shells. . There were not many people on the beach. the sand was soft. There was 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, which was really nice with a group. We gathered upstairs for meals and could spread out onto the deck. We played games at night and enjoyed the big screen TV. I would definitely return to this house. The house was well maintained and clean. The pool was also kept nice and clean. It really is great family retreat!

Beautiful views and useful spaces

Very nice property with well-appointed and comfortable spaces. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and in very good shape. Our only real issue was that the kitchens were not very thoughtfully furnished with good-quality equipment/utensils. It felt more like a mish-mosh of leftover things from other people's kitchens which were put together (and sometimes not very clean). With a thoughtful review of those supplies and a thorough cleaning of all the items which are in the cabinets, I think this would be a 5 star stay.

Thanksgiving Family vacation

This place was great for our huge family. Grandparents, siblings/spouses, children/cousins We enjoyed 8 nights and 8 days here. Plenty of room for 8 adults and 7 children. Easy 1 minute walk to the beach, never crowded, pool on site was so nice and relaxing. A+ all around.

Family Weekend

We really enjoyed this house for a family weekend getaway. The house is very nicely done with everything you need. Great indoor and outdoor space. The pool was amazing and of course being right on the water was so perfect. Beautiful for watching the sunrise or an evening walk. Location was close to so many great restaurants and things to do. The hosts were also great to work with. We hope to stay here again soon.

Good location, a few too many maintenance calls

The location was better than in the photos, the boardwalk was short and the beach view from the deck was great. The first night we arrived the back door handle broke, leaving my father and daughter stuck outside on the porch, they had to climb through the window to get back in. The owner and property manager came to fix it that night but they were in there for a long while as we were trying to enjoy our first family dinner. They were kind and helpful and offered us a free local activity in exchange for the trouble. A couple days in the roof started leaking, we had to have a bowl and towels in the middle of the living area which was obviously very inconvenient since we had a bunch of little kids we had to keep away from it. It took hours but they came and fixed it by the end of the day. The next day men came to work on the heated pool. They turned our hot water off and ended up working for 3-4 hours talking very loud and obnoxiously. That made for us not to be able to enjoy the deck during "naptime" for the kids which was a bummer because that was one of the nicest times of the day for us. They never ended up getting the pool heated. even though they came back two more times. Then the roof started leaking again, this time in two places and this time wasn't fixed for the entire day. The more problems we had the less concerned the property managers became so if we were to go back to St. Augustine, we'd look for somewhere else to stay.

St. Augustine review

We had a wonderful family vacation at this VRBO. There were 18 of us ages ranging 2months -70years old. Plent of room in the house! The pool and beach were awesome and so convenient. We did have some electricity issues while staying-the property manager was great with communication and had the issue fixed the next day. Overall we would definitely rent this place again!!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family as a whole (adults, teens, children) all agreed that this was the best layout of a beach house and the most beautiful beach. The new pool set up gave us a chance to relax after the beach, which was wonderful for body surfing and long walks. The grill/lounge area next to the pool gave us the opportunity to enjoy the pool while the grilling was going on. Can't say enough about this house

Staycation family beach trip

We had the best time relaxing at this beautiful beach home! We are from the area, and wanted to stay close so those family members that still needed to work during the day could and the rest of us could be at the beach. Relaxing in the evening on the beach was the best!! The pool was perfect for the kids! This home is well maintained and beautifully decorated! It will definitely be on our list to visit again!

Perfect for Making Memories

This home was an amazing setup for our large family. We had 7 adults and 14 children ranging from around 1 years of age to 14 years of age. The space was more than enough in the home with the upper and lower level setup. Having two full kitchens and refrigerators was clutch for our large family. Having the pool was amazing and the kids absolutely loved it! Access to the beach with private access/walk way made getting to and from the beach very simple and easy for all of us. The property manager was amazing at communicating updates and providing assistance with questions or concerns we had. The location is perfect being close to 15-minutes from downtown St. Augustine. We loved staying here and will likely be back again in the future.
