Gorgeous home with huge "great room" downstairs. Plenty of areas to hang out, and huge kitchen. Very clean. Best of all - our host, Patty was amazing! She was so helpful and nice, we really appreciated her! Thank you again Patty. :)

Excellent!

Great location to the beach. Nice to have one designated parking spot as the street parking does get packed during the day. The host Patty was very helpful and easily available. The locals that lived on the street were very nice and welcoming. Great place to relax. Garage has every beach toy imaginable,Would stay again!

Exceeded expectations!

We made some great memories in this lovely home. This had literally EVERYTHING we needed to celebrate our daughter's graduation from CSULB.super clean. Fully stocked kitchen, including filtered water in the refrigerator. Comfortable beds. Spacious open concept living space. All the beach equipment you could want. The paddle boards and kayak really made for a fun day on the bay. The wagon was key in transporting all of our stuff. Garage parking. Barbecue grill. What I appreciated most though was being able to have my family over. It is so rare to find a host like Patty who would allow that. This was easily my most memorable stay because of that. We took extra care in making sure everything was just as it was so that she will continue to let other families do the same. Patty was very responsive and the best host! Thank you for the memories!

Lovely quiet oasis on the Peninsula

Our host was wonderful - attentive and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. The house was comfy and well-appointed - it had everything we could have possibly needed for our 10 day stay. The house is steps from the bay and the ocean walks and an easy 15 minute walk to the 2nd street shops and restaurants.

Spacious Home

Great Home for family and guest. Home was well supplied with all you need for cooking and entertaining. Location was great for safely walking by the ocean, Resturants and coffee. Adult family members were able to rent electric scooters and take kids for rides. We had a great time!

Peninsula get together

We had a spectacular time at this property. We were a family of five and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own bedroom space. Since the property is steps from the beautiful bay the host had provided lots of beach equipment and outdoor games which was a big plus since we traveled from Texas for this week stay. We had family just a street away and were able to accommodate them for dinner one night with plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances and a washer and dryer were provided also! We would love to stay at this property again in the future and I highly recommend it for families. The host, Patty, was very responsive and easy to work with! Staying at this property made our vacation a great success!

Great family trip

We had a great time and visit to Long Beach. The house was just as advertised and communication with Patty was very good and quick. There were 6 adults and child under one with us. The house had a pack a play and high chair for our grand daughter and comfortable beds for the adults. We had a small party at the house that the owner allowed and everyone complemented on how nice the house was and the location. It was a great week in Long Beach. We would stay here again.

Amazing host and location

The location was perfect for connecting with family and enjoying the bay and the beach. The home was nicely laid out with all of the amenities. It was helpful to have the garage for parking, since it is limited. I cannot say enough about our host. Great communication. We had a missing toaster and she had one delivered the next morning. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!!

Lovely Peninsula Home Close to Walkable Second Street Shops

The house is as described with plenty of space for our group of six in a quiet location. Quite honestly, we were gone all day and only slept and showered but the home had everything we could need. The attached garage was a great bonus and we had enough room to fit our RAV4 rental with ease. The main bedroom was ginormous with a comfy king bed and good water pressure. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom between the other two bedrooms with extra pillows/blankets in an armoire. The home itself is a little dated with many switches that did not seem to power anything but it was clean. The owner, Patty, was very attentive and helpful. She checked in with us daily which was appreciated. Would rent again.

Great Beach Weekend

We really enjoyed the home on the Peninsula in Long Beach. Home was clean and well organized with lots of beach equipment such as paddle boards, a kayak, beach towels, and more. The beach on both sides of the street was just steps away. Patty was super easy to communicate with and is always available to help. Beds were clean and comfortable and bathrooms were pretty awesome. We hope to stay here again and would definitely recommend the property for a beach vacation.

A Fun Place

It’s a good place to stay in the pennisula, and there are many paddle boards, beach games, bikes, etc. to use at the beach.

Very good location

This home was very conveniently located--grocery stores, restaurants, and the ocean. Having three bedrooms and two baths upstairs with a bath downstairs also worked very well for us. Patty was extremely accommodating and helpful. The only drawback is parking as the street parking can fill up and the garage could be difficult to pull-in. Luckily, this did not detract from our stay.

I have been a resident of Long Beach, CA for nearly 25 years. I came to CA as a traveling nurse over 30 years ago from Ohio. Long Beach has grown tremendously over the years and has many great things to offer including abundant recreational activities, cultural experiences, fabulous restaurants, wonderful beaches and great local shopping boutiques and venues.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I love the Peninsula in Long Beach, as I spend many weekends at the beach playing volleyball, kayaking, Stand Up Paddling (SUP) and swimming. The beaches are fairly private, so no overcrowding like some other SoCal beaches. The neighborhood is a friendly, safe, beach community.

The Long Beach area, specifically the Peninsula, is a great location for people who enjoy outdoor activities, spending time at the beach in addition to local shopping & enjoying the many restaurants in the Belmont Shore area on 2nd Street.
