Casa na Colina är ett Madeiranskt familjehus med enkel, jämn tillgång till övervåningen som innehåller ekgolvat vardagsrum med bildfönster och vedeldad spis, master sovrum med eget badrum, 2 dubbla sovrum och huvudfamilj badrum. En vacker marmortrappa leder till nedre våningen med ett annat sovrum med dubbelsäng och kök och matplats. Härifrån dörrar leder ut till verandan och trädgård med panoramautsikt över havet erbjuder lugn och ro. Bara 2 minuters bilresa tar dig till Via Rapido vilket ger enkel åtkomst till många av Madeiras andra attraktioner. Huset är nu under ledning av Catarina Gouveia, som har många års erfarenhet av turistmarknaden.

A very special place for a wonderful family vacation!

Spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and cozy -- we had a lovely week staying at Jayne's house. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, the fireplace kept us warm in the cool February evenings, and the views from the deck are absolutely breathtaking!

Beautiful villa with great views

The villa is perfect, the views are beautiful. It has everything you need and the welcome and communication from both Jayne and Catarina was second to none. We will definitely be back and for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house in fabulous location...

We where 2 families with two teenagers who stayed in this large house. The communications with both Jayne and Catarina were smooth and they always quickly responded.This house is big with 4 bedroom's and large kitchen/dining with huge windows and door to the garden and pool. The house stand high upon in a hill just outside Calheta.The view and the garden is the best about this house.Every day there was a new picture of the sunset or the views over the sea. Everything cleen and not much to complain about. And we loved Catarina the houseHighly recommend but you need a car to stay here.

Peace with a View

Our 4 nights here were fabulous. The house is large and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We greatly appreciated the wine for us adults and snacks for our kids that were presented upon check-in. Catarina was very kind and walked us through the basic locations of things in the house and how to properly unroll and roll up the pool cover. The weather was absolutely perfect during our stay and the view from the pool and lounge area makes you feel like a tiny ant as you stare out at the vastness of the ocean. All in all, this was a great stay that we will remember for years to come.

Beautiful house for a family!

We had a wonderful week in february in the lovely house as a family with three children (7 years, 4 years, 10 month) The children especially loved the heated pool. Catarina was a big help and even brought more wood for the fire place spontanously, when we had finished it.. Everything was perfect!

Family of 6 adults & 3 teenagers.

Our mid-April 2023 stay was fantastic. Basing ourselves on the published pictures and conversations with both Jayne and Catarina, nothing was different from what got. Everything met and even exceeded our hopes. Catarina, the on site hostess, was very helpful to us. The kitchen/dining room is large and well-equipped. The house is a very good space for a family. The pool was wonderful, gardens and view fantastic. Thank you so much.

Authentiek huisje, zeer netjes, zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw.

Buiten de touristische zones. Rustig gelegen. Kleine supermarkt in de buurt, ook voor vers brood ‘s ochtends. Wel auto nodig om het eiland te verkennen. Zeer proper. Gastvrij onthaal!

Wir haben als Familie, Großeltern, Eltern, Kinder, 10 Tage in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist wunderschön, das Haus geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Die Küche mit allem was man brauch ausgestattet. Das absolute Highlight der beheizte Pool! Catarina eine fürsorgliche Verwalterin, die sich kümmert und jederzeit bei Fragen oder Unklarheiten hilft. Danke für dafür. Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.

Très bien accueilli, lieu très calme, villa agréablement agancé. Un seul petit regret ,il est précisé dans l annonce que la piscine est chauffé, il a néanmoins fallut payé un surplus pour la chauffé.

Traumhaftes Haus in wunderschöner Lage mit beheiztem Pool

Das Haus ist sehr sauber, geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr gross mit beheiztem Pool und schöner überdachter Terrasse. Die Liegen sind fantastisch und laden zum sonnenbaden ein. Wir hatten einen sehr liebevollen Empfang am Haus, trotz 6 stündiger Verspätung und genauso lieb wurden wir wieder verabschiedet, lieben Dank dafür Catarina. Ebenso möchten wir uns bedanken, dass der Pool ausnahmsweise ein wenig länger für uns beheizt wurde, so wurden die Urlaubsfreuden noch ein wenig grösser. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und sagen, bis bald

Luxurious Villa

Luxurious property with a panoramic view out across the sea and sunshine all day. Lovely large heated pool. Very well equipped house with quality furnishings and fittings. Very spacious and the owner has thought of every small detail. Very friendly and helpful caretaker.

Wonderful!

This was fantastic! We had a great stay an will come back! We were more than 1,5 days late and arrived in the middle of the night. Catarina (the Housekeeper) was waiting for us, still! We were in contact during our whole arrival-chaos, she did a little shopping for us and made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much! The contact with Jayne, the owner, was very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The house itself is huge. Lot's of room for the kids to play, the kitchen ist well equipped and everything you need is there. We did a lot of cooking and missed nothing. The pool-area and the garden are very nice. We loved it all. So, to sum it up - our stay was more than perfect!

super erholsamer urlaub in einem wunderschönen haus

Ein superschönes Haus in dem man sich ganz schnell sehr wohl fühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, reichlich Platz und einfach nur schön. Der Pool ist beheizt und es macht Laune darin zu baden. Catarina -die Hausseele- ist wahnsinnig freundlich und aufmerksam, sie hilft wo sie nur kann. Wir sind froh dass wir 2 Wochen an diesem schönen Ort sein durften und kommen gerne wieder!!!

Tolle Unterkunft!

Das Haus ist genauso, wie auf den Bildern angegeben. Der Blick über den Atlantik ist einmalig, die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Dank Catarina klappte die Übergabe super und bei eventuellen Fragen ist sie immer ansprechbar. Ein rundum toller Urlaub, wir kommen wieder!!

Lovely house in a lovely location

Start to finish our experience was lovely. We arrived very early (nearer to 11am than 3pm check in time) Catarina the house keeper couldn't have been more obliging. Let us in very early to drop off bags, gave us the tour and explanations of everything and even recommended an easier road for going to and from the house. Its in a lovely location, away from the bustle of Funchal and near enough to be within 40 mins drive of almost everything. The houses facilities were lovely, nice clean bedrooms and a large enough kitchen for 7. Also the outside bbq was perfect for us to have homemade bbq food one evening. The reccomendation of Casa Bettencourt in the little book was so good we went 3 times during our stay! Overall a great experience had by all!

Genialer Ausblick, geräumig, blitzeblank,

Wir waren als Familie für eine Woche im Februar zu Gast und haben den Aufenthalt mehr als genossen. Das Anwesen ist geräumig, war super sauber geputzt, der Pool war für die Teenager eine Sensation. Bei Außentemperaturen von 16-18 Grad hat es die Wärmepumpe geschafft, das Wasser auf 27-28 Grad zu erwärmen. Die Poolheizung kostet wegen hohen Stromverbrauch extra, hat sich aber mehr als gelohnt. Nach einem Wandertag in den Pool zu springen, ist super! Parken kann man problemlos auf der Straße vor den Haus. Es gibt einen kleinen gut sortierten Supermarkt ca. 1 km den Berg runter. Die Haus-Managerin Catharina ist super herzlich und bei Fragen immer schnell per WhatsApp zu erreichen. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder.
