En besviken villa i en cul-de-sac, inom gångavstånd från Alvor. Vår villa ligger i en liten cul-de-sac, på Brisamar Club resort som ligger cirka 1 km från byn Alvor. Villan har en fantastisk panorama mot Alvor by, omgivning och hav. I Alvor by. med sina smala kullerstensgator hittar du ett bra utbud av barer och restauranger inklusive ett kluster nere på hamnsidan som specialiserat sig på färsk fisk. Stadsstranden och många andra stränder är inom räckhåll. Det bekväma, välmöblerade vardagsrummet med öppen spis har utsikt över poolen, med tillgång till de franska dörrarna till en delvis skuggad balkong. Det finns steg ner till poolnivån. Vardagsrummet har eget badrum med matsal och tillgång till terrassen. Från hallen, väl dekorerad med typiska portugisiska plattor, har du tillgång till köket och sovrummen. Tre av sovrummen är på nedre våningen, ett med eget badrum och dörrar till terrassen.

Fantastic Holiday

Amazing week here with the family, ten of us innthe villa which is so spacious that you all have your own space. Great communication with the host and the homexwas very well equipped with everything you need.

Great place to holiday

Aart was lovely and communicative. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was all the facilities you need (and a barbecue!!). The pool was great. Good location too as not too far from Alvor centre.

Alvor July 2024

Property is in a quiet location within 15mins of the centre of Alvor. The villa is spacious and well equipped too. It makes a great base for a large family or group. We all enjoyed it immensely.

Family stay

We had an amazing holiday in this villa . Brillant facilities and a lovely walk to the town . We had a young baby and the host was very accomadating with a late check out ... the outside area and pool are excellent . I would highly recommend this property.

Brilliant villa break for two families

Brilliant villa, loads of space for everyone. Well equipped kitchen and great outdoor bbq space. Kids loved the pool. Aart was very helpful and helped us leave our luggage at the property before we could check in. Super holiday.

Great space

Villa better than expected. Three parts of family stayed and easy to arrange bedrooms etc. Outside spaces were amazing with four bedrooms with own balconies. Would recommend a car as very hot and not keen on walking or getting a bus

Beautiful house

We hade a great stay. Lots of room, spacious and a big pool. We were 12 kids, teenagers and adults. We had some problems with seaguls waking us up early in the morning. Bit i total, we really would reccomend a vaction i this house.

Family holiday

Very spacious villa with space for a large group, we werw 11 adults and a small baby. The outside kitchen and barbeque were amazing. Only downside is the number of steps. This villa wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues or with very young children. The pool was a great focal point and there were plenty of sunbeds. It is only a short walk into the village or to the beach, a perfect location

Wonderful Stay & Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect for our extended family gathering. Accommodating six adults and three children (aged 9, 12, and 16), it suited all of our needs flawlessly. While the property does feature numerous stairs, both the kids and my parents (aged 74 and 76) managed them well throughout our stay. Each evening, we enjoyed a delightful stroll downtown for gelato and soaked in the vibrant nightlife. The check-in process was seamless, with timely email and message updates provided days in advance. Our visit coincided with the Euro Cup Futbol, and we relished the lively atmosphere in Alvor while watching the games. Additionally, we embarked on a breathtaking sea cave tour in Lagos and explored the stunning local beaches. This experience was truly unforgettable, and we eagerly anticipate returning in the future!

Fab place in great position

This was our second stay at the Villa, Had an amazing time. We spent most of our time outside, in the pool or sitting a one of the many seating areas. About 15-20 minutes into Alvor where we found some great restaurants and bars. Only downside is the number of steps. I would suggest a rail of some kind just for safety. Other than that a fantastic place to make great memories.

Risky beauty

The house itself is beautiful with all the convenience of modern living. Being on top of a hill, it had the best views. Having said that, getting up to the house required a lot of stairs, only the main stair going to the front door had a concrete hand rail. The pool area stairs had no handrails. There were also short stairs going in and out of some of the rooms. Seniors in our group had a difficult time with it and carrying groceries up was strenuous. Safety issues is a concern specially with the elderly and when alcohol is involved. Adding to the safety issue was the absence of lighting on the main stairs which was the highest. Had to use my phone flashlight to navigate about 40 steps. Although the amenities were modern, beddings are not up to par. My room did not have pillow cases and the pillows were so lumpy. I had to use my T-shirt as a pillow case for several nights. There was only duvets as your cover. On warm nights there was no choice of sheets or thinner blanket to use. We had to call the caretaker/owner to address the issues which should have been done prior to our arrival.

Tolles Haus

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Wir waren 10 Erwachsene, und es war für alle genug Besteck und Geschirr vorhanden. Das Haus ist toll, allerdings kann man mit dem eingebauten Grill im Außenbereich schlecht grillen. Das Grillgut braucht sehr lange, bis es durchgegrillt ist. Wäre ein Verbesserung nötig.

Schöne Villa in guter Lage

Die Villa ist perfekt für einen Aufenthalt mit einer Gruppe oder Familie. Es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden und die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und man war sehr Hilfsbereit . Die Lage ist sehr schön und nah zu dem Ort Alvor. Das einzige womit einige von uns Probleme hatten waren die vielen Treppen. Das ist gewöhnungbedürftig vor allem wenn man nicht mehr so gut zu Fuß ist. Alles in allem aber eine tolle Villa und unbedingt zu empfehlen.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa

We were a party of 9 people and we had a lovely time in the villa. There is plenty of room for socialising as well as space for moments of self reflection. We encountered a few issues with the plumbing such as the washing machine and showers flooding as the drainage was insufficient or blocked, these were reported to the manager and rectified the next day. The floor tiles throughout the villa have spaces between them I am not sure if this is the style or if it will later be grouted. We found this strange as it was hard to sweep and mop however not a major issue. The pool is lovely only issue being the lights in the pool are on a timer and came on at 9.30pm we found this to be too late as it was already dark by 8pm. Also when the pool lights do come on they go off quite soon, I don’t know the exact time but as we were doing a lot of meditation and yoga in the evening and late into the night, it would have been nice to still have the pool lit later so we can safely swim at midnight. The lighting around the pool is not as shown in the photo with the nice purple lighting. Disappointing as we were really looking forward to doing a photo shoot in that lighting, I guess this is just for advertising. There are plenty of cupboards in the kitchen, however, we had to shuffle around the items as there were no cupboards free to put our food in. It would have been useful to have a central island or food prep table as well as some seats. This, like a lot of properties, doesn't have good ventilation when all the doors and windows are closed and so can get a bit musty and the air conditioning is not included in the price The external area of the villa would benefit from a jet wash to freshen and brighten. What we really enjoyed about the villa is... The layout, there are a lot of stairs (a lot haha) inside and out, however we liked that everything was on different levels and looked really interesting as well as giving us a bit of extra exercise. The décor and the dining table and chairs as it could accommodate everyone at the same time. The bedroom and bathroom décor and we found the beds really comfortable. We love the view from the villa, watching the sunrise in the morning and the moon and stars at night. We love the quality of the kitchenware and it is a well stocked kitchen. In general we had a great time and would definitely recommend the villa, the issues were minor and easily rectified. The Manager Aart was very helpful and pleasant.

Our holiday in Alvor

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa it was well equipped and had everything that we needed, the pool area was great for the children. Aart met us when arriving and showed us around the villa. We would recommend to anyone wanting to hire a fab villa.

Fantastic property in good location

We had a great stay at this villa. We travelled as 3 families of 4, plenty of space for all our families to be comfortable. Pool was a fab size for all the children, they loved it. Great facilities. Some of the slabs around the pool are loose which is a concern, and there are areas of tiredness but it is generally well maintained and we had no issues. The air conditioning is pay on arrival, we had a couple of issues with some of the units stopping working on the first night but Aart came over first thing the next morning to sort out and left us with better instructions should it happen again - which it did but all ok. Great location for Alvor, lovely walk after a lovely evening meal. We had a great stay and would stay again.

60th birthday week away

We had a wonderful stay at the villa for a week in June. Pool was great, rooms were lovely and spacious. Communication with Aart was very good and he was very attentive when we had any issues. About a 10 minute walk into Alvor which is great on an evening. Quite a lot of noise from the local hotel next door during the day and a couple of evenings, but other than that would highly recommend this place.

Fantastische villa!

Mooie ruime, huiselijk villa met veel slaapkamers en badkamers. Goede bedden en heerlijke douches. Heerlijk zoutwater zwembad (beter dan chloor), goed wifi en heerlijk uitgebreide keuken. Het is wel veel trappenlopen vooral voor de wat oudere mensen. Aanbeveling: buitenkoelkast, schaduwdoek boven terras en langere lakens/dekens
