What a cozy cabin! Even in the heat wave, it was cool and comfy. I really loved the big shower. It was close to town while being in the country. The hosts were very attentive to our needs.

Perfect getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a quick trip to the Yosemite area. It was perfect for what we wanted. Nice quiet area with beautiful grounds. The cabin was exceptional in design and usability. Will stay here when we visit the area again.

Cabin was great

We had a great time in Oakhurst. The cabin was perfect and the communication with the hosts was awesome. Phil helped up plan our Yosemite itinerary. We were so happy to see the 2 friendly dogs. We miss our pups when we travel so they were a nice bonus. If you like a woodsy cabin vibe you will definitely enjoy this place.

We had a great stay at Yosemite Dreams. Recommend to any/all interested in staying near Yosemite (south entrance). Peaceful/relaxing. Oakhurst also is a delightful town.

Cozy and relaxing

Wonderful place to rest and relax after a hard day of hiking in Yosemite. Hosts gave us a warm welcome and allowed us to go and come as we pleased. Property is fenced and we felt completely at ease. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Holiday weekend getaway

The whole booking process was seamless. The host was great. She responded very quickly to messages. Check in wa as flawless. We were there for an event at the rodeo and were able to check in early. The cabin was very clean just as described. The only thing I can say that was a slight discomfort was the air conditioner didn't cool down the whole house, that is of course is no fault to the homeowners it was a 110 this weekend and the sun beats directly down on the back of the cabin. My only suggestion would be maybe some darker curtains on the back part of the house to kind of block the 🌞 a little more. Other than that the house was perfect, I would definitely stay there again just maybe not when it's a 110 outside hahaha

Cabin

My wife and I Loved staying at this cabin! Both the cabin and property are beautiful. The location is convenient to town. We enjoyed dinner at the local brewery. The host suggested a great hike in Yosemite. Staying at this cabin was definately a highlight of our vacation.

Quaint and Quiet

The property is on 4 acres of land outside of Oakhurst. The accommodations are spartan but adequate. Mornings are greeted with birds and wind chimes. No TV or radio (which was fine with us). Property owners' dogs ran freely but were no problem and we enjoyed their company. A different experience that you will need to embrace to enjoy. Walking the property was encouraged by owners. Lots of different areas to take pictures (gardens, trees, sitting areas, etc).

Perfect Getaway

We loved our stay at the cozy cabin. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot. Although the location was a bit remote, it was easy to get to town to dine out. The location was also perfect for our visit to Yosemite. Thanks you for a wonderful vacation!

Lovely property.

Great Experience!

Lisa and her husband were great when we first checked in. We did get lost (partner is not a good navigator) but Lisa called me right up and helped me find the place. Such a cozy cabin and has everything you need. Was a great experience and we hope to stay again! At night you can hear the crickets and nature and it was wonderful. Eateries in town aren’t too far and Lisa’s husband gave us great suggestions for food in the area.

Cozy Getaway

This is a comfortable cozy cabin with a nice bathroom on spacious grounds very close to some spectacular hikes with a great host and a friendly town a few miles away. We had a memorable time.

nice comfortable place

Stayed here 2 nights at the end of August. Place was pretty good. Spacious and comfortable. It was only about 5 minutes away from food/groceries and about 30 minutes from the park entrance (another hour to get to Yosemite valley). Although it was close to food, it was far enough away to have some peace and quiet. Could watch the stars at night. That was cool. Liked all the small stuff like silverware, plates, the fridge, and even had some complementary items like food seasonings, aluminum foil for barbeque, coffee grounds in the freezer, some oatmeal, a pitcher of water ready in the fridge and other things. Some downsides were that the wifi seemed pretty slow but I didn't bother to use it. Not like you are going to that area to just watch movies in your cabin. lol Also, I think would have been better if AC wasn't directly above the bed. When I had it blow cool air while sleeping, it kind of made me sick so I had to just use the high fan setting instead. But was glad to at least have it since it kept the place pretty cool -- just had to turn off the cool setting before laying in the bed.

Phil and Lisa just moved to Oakhurst from Del Mar/San Diego mid November 2015, where we lived for 30 years, prior to growing up on the East Coast. We just love our new location and would love to share it with you! Phil is a videographer and Lisa is a Yoga Instructor as well as a Wellness Coach. After raising four children in the San Diego area we moved to the mountains for our next life adventure!

We are located just a few miles from shops, restaurants, theaters, art galleries and grocery stores; and yet maintain a faraway feel. We are located just outside Yosemite National Park and minutes from Bass Lake. Oakhurst has many activities such as water sports, golf, upscale spas, museums, fun kid activities such as zip lines, train rides, sledding, ice skating and ice cream! This property gives you the feeling that you are in your own little park, far away from it all and yet you are just a few minutes away from a wide variety of activities, conveniences and adventures!
