Fabulous villa, host and location

Just come back from a great week in Montenegro. The villa was just as described and the location was perfect. Central for exploring Montenegro and the activities it offers. Kotor old town had numerous excellent restaurants and shops to mooch round and was only about 10-15mins walk from the accommodation. But the thing that stands out from other places we have stayed is the host, Michelle, her attention to detail and care she shows went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable holiday - thank you Michelle.

In my many many years of travelling and renting apartments/villas I have never met a nicer kinder host. Michelle is happy if her guests are happy and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best trip ever. Everthing was perfect, the apartment, the pool the location but most of all Michelle and her partner Matthew. Thank you again for making our stay so special.

Incredible place with an amazing host!

Everything was perfect, almost too good to be true. Michelle is such a gracious host and made our stay so easy. She communicated everything we needed for our arrival, met us and provided a fully stocked kitchen which kept us fed and entertained for the whole week. Will happily stay here again!

Beautiful Stay Near Kotor

Michelle’s apartment is in a beautiful location just a short walk from Kotor old town. Michelle greeted us at the door after giving very clear instructions on how to get there and where to park. The apartment was amazing, clean, spacious and full of everything we needed and more. The pool is just outside the door and the sea just down the steps. The home is very well stocked and packed with extras to make you feel welcome and at home. Michelle gave us plenty of advice and help to make our trip unforgettable. We would never stay anywhere else when we come again. The best VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Great place

Great location, easy walk from the old town but with a view of Kotor, which is especially beautiful at night. The host is fantastic, with loads of local knowledge. The apartment has everything you could ask for, we particularly appreciated all the supplies that were provided on our first day. Can’t recommend this property enough.

The best

We were met by Michelle the owner with a huge smile and that smile remained throughout our stay. The accommodation is just lovely and the outside space was perfect, the kayaks and paddle boards being an added bonus. I cannot rate this accommodation and host highly enough and would recommend anyone to stay there. Thanks Michelle you made our stay truly special and memorable we'll be back ❤

Amazing views

Beautiful apartment set in a stunning location with amazing views. The apartment was so well equipped with excellent attention to detail. Walking distance to Kotor in the evenings for numerous restaurants. Michelle was the best host we have encountered on our travels so helpful informative and kind.

Absolutely fantastic stay!

Michelle was the most amazing host (she literally thinks of everything) and her house felt like home away from home. But better! The views are breathtaking, the pool is lovely, the whole apartment and setting are just amazing. We had the best time and managed to walk to Kotor Old Town which is also stunning and has such a great variety of restaurants and shops. 10/10 would recommend and will book again!

Fantastic place with a fabulous host

Can’t fault this place. It’s in a great location, 15 minute walk into Kotor, and right on the sea front. Having the use of kayaks and paddle boards was brilliant. Michelle and Matt are excellent hosts who go way beyond what you would normally expect. Nothing was too much trouble. Can highly recommend ⭐️

Breathtaking views and unforgettable experience.

My husband and I have stayed at several VRBO locations throughout the years and this one absolutely tops the list! Waking up each morning to the amazing view and enjoying a cup of coffee on the private terrace was such a treat. To top it off, Michelle is such a warm and gracious host. She is so welcoming, informative, and had the apartment stocked with everything you could possibly need. If you have the opportunity to stay at this beautiful apartment, do it!!!

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful family holiday in beautiful Montenegro. The apartment exceeded all expectations, it is spacious and has everything you would ever need including very comfy beds! The outside space and pool were amazing with the most beautiful views we have ever experienced. Michelle is such a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble, we never needed to ask anything as she was always one step ahead! One of the kindest most generous people we have had the pleasure to meet. The apartment is in a great location and only a 10 minute walk into the old town. The children loved using the paddle boards and exploring the local area. We were all sad to leave and can’t wait to return!

Another great stay

It is the second time that I have stayed in this lovely apartment. The view from the apartment and spacious outdoor seating area is spectacular.It was lovely sitting outside and looking at the view across the water.The lovely old town of Kotor is a 10-15 minute walk away with lots of restaurants and bars and beautiful old buildings. We spent lots of time on the paddleboards and kyaks provided (thank you). We did the "ladder walk" next to the old town which we really enjoyed. Perast and Budva are near for visiting and the cable car provided amazing views. Michelle is the best host I have encountered and is thoughtful and generous both with her time and what she provides within the apartment.

Gorgeous property

Michelle’s flat was amazing. It was well laid out, clean, had everything that we needed, and has an incredible view. The walk to Old Town Kotor was a quick 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. The location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the port. Perfect! Michelle was responsive, super friendly, and fun. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay in Kotor

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It has a stunning view which we enjoyed either sitting on the terrace with a drink in hand or through the large windows from inside. It is very comfortable with everything that you would need thought of and provided. Michelle is extremely generous, both with her time and with all the little extras that she provides in the apartment. She is hands down the best host I have ever encountered. Kotor is beautiful and we will definitely be coming back again.

Spectacular Views of Kotor Bay

We really enjoyed staying in this spectacular apartment which had great outdoor space with pool and fantastic views of the Bay of Kotor. It was an easy walk to Kotor and when we were tired there were plenty of taxis available. The hike up to the Hilltop Kotor Fortress was one of our favourite activities of the week, hard work but worth it for the amazing views!! Our daughter and her friend had great fun using the paddleboards which were available during our stay. Michelle (the host) was very friendly & helpful during our week in Montenegro. Highly recommended.

The BIG screen TV

Michelle is wonderful - she thinks of everything. She knows the area well and has all sorts of suggestions. The apartment is amazing: everything you could think of and the absolutely massive sliding glass doors were our big screen TV - watching cruise ships, sailboats and the weather - we sat there for hours just simply watching the goings-on. I would skip the restaurants over by the old town - head up either coastal road (the better one is the one that heads to Croatia, not to Tivat). We had a GREAT stay. Thanks Michelle.

Simply the best

Well to be honest I dont know where to start. Michelle welcomed us with open arms and provided with some snacks and fruits in the accomandation. She gave us a lot of advises what to see or where to go, we could easily ask her any questions. The apartment was perfect - very clean, modern with a great terrace and a stunning view. You could find everything you need to cook or just making a quick breakfast. 5 stars are not enough to describe the time we had in Montenegro and in the accomadation. We really recommend it!

Fantastic holiday in Kotor

We would 100% recommend staying at this wonderful apartment in Kotor. We were stunned by everything from when we arrived to when we left. The accommodation has everything you need while on holiday, excellent cleanliness and the welcome pack was great especially after a long day travelling. The views from the apartment are breathtaking from watching life go in the morning, the cruise ships, speedboats whizzing by, and the night lights of the old town. Kotor old town is around 20 mins walk, supermarket is 15 minutes, bakery 10 minutes. Waterfront is literally seconds away and we all enjoyed swimming and use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The pool was an added bonus and our girls loved playing in there late into the evening. Many restaurants, cafes and bars so much choice when eating out. Michelle was the best host and has a vast knowledge of the area and beyond. The apartment ticked all boxes and our holiday was made all the more amazing by Michelle and all of the thought she has put into visiting her lovely home. Go find some fun in Kotor and beyond, it truly has something for everyone.

Great getaway

The apartment was just as described. The balcony is large with a small pool and the place is right at the water. The view from the apartment is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, but there are restaurants nearby. Kotor old town is walking distance (maybe a mile) but there are shops and restaurants in between. Michelle was super welcoming, helpful and generous (love the homemade wine). She even took care of getting me a COVID test appt and drove me over there for the appt which made that process so much easier. There are a number of nice hikes right outside and Lovcen is nearby. The hike from Kotor to the restaurant in Lovcen is a challenging 5-ish miles but worth it. Highly recommend Michelle's place.

Stunningly beautiful. 11/10!

Where to start? 5 Star! Absolutely amazing location with stunning views. Top class apartment owner, Michelle couldn’t have been more generous, helpful and Friendly. We’ve been to many places in the past with VRBO and, although all lovely, non come near to the quality, standards and amenities Michelle provides here. Everything you need is supplied plus much more. 15 minutes walk into the delightful old town or 1€ on the bus outside the apartment. Both Tivat and Perast are easily reached by bus, Perast is a must see as is the old town. Also worth walking up the ladder of Kotor, if you’re into walking but leave 6ish AM and take plenty of water, views to die for! Recommend Cesarica and Bastion for seafood and La Catedrale for pasta. Finally Michelle, thank you for a wonderful week, wish it was longer but we have our photos and memories. Never reminisced about Blazing Saddles in a more gorgeous setting.

Simply stunning

We have just returned from an amazing 10 night stay in this stunning accommodation. Every morning was a “pinch me moment” sitting with a coffee, taking in the stunning view of Kotor bay, watching the cruise ships sail in. The accommodation is very spacious and was spotlessly clean. We were a party of 2 adults and a 17 year old. Our other daughter joined us for a few nights and the accommodation was spacious enough for us all. The pool was a god send due to the very high temperatures Montenegro was experiencing at the time of our stay. We took full advantage of the Kayaks and paddle boards, the sea is just across from the apartment and we were even lucky enough to spot some dolphins. We arrived to a fully stocked fridge which we were grateful of, especially arriving on a Sunday when all supermarkets are closed. Michelle is probably the most amazing host we’ve ever had. Nothing was too much trouble and we have made a friend for life. Our daughter had a cancelled flight home and Michelle was so helpful with airport runs. Kotor it’s self is beautiful. It takes about 15/20 minutes to walk to the old town, where we spent evenings wandering around the pretty streets and sampling the local cuisine. I can’t recommend this property enough.

Beautiful Kotor!!!

The place, location and hosts were absolutely fabulous! We had an amazing time! When visiting Kotor it is best to stay at this fabulous place, for the visual of the beauty of Kotor!! It is spectacular!!! We struggled with our arrival due to mother nature and then lost one of our bags upon arrival. Michelle was simply amazing with welcoming me into her home to borrow what I needed....she also took me shopping and filled our frig with the much needed provisions free of charge. Because we arrived 2 nites late, due to the travel challenges, we were reimbursed for our nites not used. Just the most amazing, humble hosts! We have become friends and they even invited us into their main home for a dinner party, which was the best food we ate in Kotor! Michelle and Matthew are amazing chiefs on top of their other most generous personalities! We had a fabulous time!!! We have invited them to visit us for a ski vacation in the Colorado Rockies! Just the most beautiful place and experience that we will never forget!

Beautiful apartment with a stunning view!

The apartment was just beautiful - modern, spacious, immaculately designed with lots of light and the most stunning view of the mountains, the bay, and Kotor old town with all the super yachts and cruise ships going in to experience what we had on our own doorstep for a week. We loved walking in to the old town most nights for a meal in the various restaurants, followed by a casual amble through all the narrow alleyways and numerous squares before heading back to the apartment via the marina to look at all the boats moored up. Michelle was the perfect host and gave us lots of information and advice about where to visit and how. The walk up the ladder of Cattaro until it meets up with the old fortress walls was a lovely experience thanks to Michelle who gave us detailed directions so we couldn't get lost. It is a bit of a climb for sure but the views looking down on the bay and the old town are spectacular and well worth it. The location is perfect for visiting other parts of Montenegro, we visited Port Montenegro (more super yachts) and from there walked into the town of Tivat which is a nice small seaside town. We also visited Plavi Horizonti (nice sandy beach with walks around) and a lovely quaint fishing village called Rose which involved a lovely scenic drive, again perfectly detailed by Michelle. Half an hour away around the bay is another lovely village Perast where you can pick up a boat trip or just wander around and have lunch in a perfect setting like we did. Budva is also worth visiting for the old town and waterfront and not too far away. When we weren't touring round we spent our time on one of the balconies (there were two on our level plus one at pool level plus a lovely terrace under the grapevine where we were lucky to share a BBQ with Michelle and a couple of her friends and of course Albie the dog. Thanks again Michelle for a lovely week and hope to come back one day.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodation is absolutely spotless and so so lovely. The pictures don’t do it justice. We used the paddle boards and kayaks every day, they were just fab! Michi went over and above for us leaving us some snacks and essentials and checking in to ensure we were happy with everything and was always there to offer advice. Both her and Matthew are fantastic hosts! Thank you so much x
