Grove Farm Barn har återigen belönats en Visit Britain 4-stjärnigt gold award semesterboende. Det är en traditionell korsvirkeshus lada i grunderna för ägarnas vackra trähus hus och trädgårdar, som är omgiven av fredliga och vackra böljande Suffolk landsbygden där besökare kan njuta av promenader och cykling genom tysta gränder, eller besöka kuststäder Southwold, Aldeburgh och Thorpness. Alla lakan och handdukar tillhandahålls och golvvärme gör det mysigt på vintern. Parkering för två bilar. Gäst har tillgång till grunderna och kan njuta av att sitta runt den stora dammen (försiktighet krävs med små barn) Ladan har uppnått ett 4-stjärnigt Visit Britain Gold Award. Lovely Property

Beautiful barn in a very peaceful rural location. Owners were lovely and helpful recommending local food options and insider knowledge for Southwold. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Long weekend in Suffolk

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful converted barn. The living room is spectacular, kitchen had everything we needed and both beds were very comfy. The property is well situated with plenty to do close by. Kerry and Chris made us feel very welcome and provided suggestions for places to visit and dine.

Fantastic property!

What a wonderful place for a getaway! So spacious and full of everything you need for a few nights and day just relaxing. Close to local pubs and sights. Kerry and Chris were incredibly nice and had great advice about places to eat and things to see. I would highly recommend this place! If I could I would give it 10 stars🌟 !

A great calming home and gardens

Gobsmacked by the size of the front room, was very happy with every room, beds very comfy. everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and prepare food, couldnt ask for more..... lots of different parts of the garden to relax in, great hosts they make us feel very welcome and at home Thanks for making your home our home, will definitely return

Short Break Away with Family

Needed a property with ground floor bedroom and bathroom for an elderly relative and this fitted the bill. Beautiful spacious barn in a very quiet location. Great to have small snooker/pool and table football, plus games jigsaws etc. Something for all the family.

A relaxing and comfortable few days at this excellent converted barn in rural Suffolk. Kerry made us very welcome and had provided everything we and future guests would need for a short break. Fantastic location and beautiful barn

We really could not have asked for more! From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The barn is very clean and extremely well equipped, and you have 3 little chickens roaming about happily to keep you company. Chris and Kerry were on hand if you needed to ask anything ( where’s the bathroom ?! 🤣) and were really helpful in advising us on where to go locally. This is a perfect base for day trips out in Suffolk , thankyou so much

Wonderful holiday

The only word I can use to describe this property is STUNNING. Fabulous accommodation in a great location close lots of beaches and other attractions. We particularly loved Framlingham Castle and Walberswick, where we went crabbing ,which the children loved. The property is very well equipped and has the wow factor. We didn't really want to leave. Chris and Kerry were superb hosts. Very friendly but discreet and quick to respond to any request. We were greeted with two delicious cakes and then given another. Thankyou Chris and Kerry for a wonderful stay. We hope to return one day.

Beautiful barn for summer in Suffolk

Kerry and Chris’s barn was the perfect location for our first family trip to Suffolk. The barn has been beautifully converted and is extremely well equipped with everything we wanted from the kitchen, to the bedrooms (smart TVs in both) and even had crabbing equipment for us to borrow and take to the harbour. The garden is a really good size and we were able to enjoy meals outside and games with the kids. Kerry gave us some really good tips on where to go and what to do when we first arrived (e.g. the harbour end of Southwold beach was much better for us than the pier end - more beach with sand at high tide, handy parking, great fish and chips, ice cream, etc.), and was on hand if needed but we felt we had our privacy during the stay. We loved Suffolk and really loved the barn and would certainly look to stay here again if we return to Suffolk.

Another wonderful stay

This was our second visit to Chris and Kerry's barn and it was just as lovely as the first time we stayed 2 years ago. There is so much space and it is beautifully laid out and so well equipped. The addition of a table football table alongside the snooker/pool table was a lovely surprise and the new larger smart TV and bluetooth speaker in the lounge / dining area were also very welcome. We will certainly look to stay at the barn again if we return to the area for any future holidays.

This is a traditional Suffolk Barn converted using local tradesmen. It has a stunning lounge area with exposed beams, large original barn doors and threshing stones as part of the heritage of this barn.

It is extremely quiet and relaxing giving stunning views of the Suffolk countryside and open skies ideal for star gazing. Whilst being rural it is only 4 miles to the local town with all the amenities required and only 20 minutes from the beach at Southwold. London is only 2 hours away.
We can offer short breaks of 3 days or more subject to availability and season, please do enquire if you would like to spend a short break with us and we can confirm the rental cost.
