Beautiful lake home with amazing views

This beautiful home provided my family with the perfect place to stay for our son’s college graduation. Fully equipped kitchen, huge deck with amazing views, cute loft master bedroom overlooking the downstairs area. Cathy was responsive, helpful, and an overall wonderful host. Everything we could have needed was provided, from paper towels to dishes to toiletries—so thoughtful!

Great weekend get away

We came up for girls weekend and to hike Ricketts Glenn and we had an amazing time. The house is in a great location and the view of the lake is amazing from he sunny and roomy deck. The house is very nice and well kept with an open floor plan which worked great for our group. The house was clean and check in and check out was easy. We had a minor mid communication about extra sheets and pillows and where to find them. The host is responsive and helpful. I would stay again!!

Relaxing getaway.

Beautiful lake view from the deck & back yard fire pit for sunny warmer days & cooler fall evenings. Comfortable house with nice side streets for dog walking. Awesome view of fall foliage. Peaceful and relaxing.

Happy Place at Harvey's Lake

We rented this home as we were attending a family wedding at a local Inn and wanted a place to stay with our family. It was the perfect location. We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather on the deck overlooking the lake, take long walks around the lake and relax with our family members. Catherine made the whole process very easy and we all enjoyed our stay. We will likely come back again!!

Wonderful home and GREAT host.

This was a very clean and well maintained home. The listing and pictures were exactly as the home was. Caroline the host was AMAZING! We had a terrible storm l, lost power and it caused damage to the outside table and Caroline was only concerned about our safety. She kept checking on us . Even offered to bring us coffee from Dunkin! I am absolutely thrilled with this stay! Highly recommend this home and Caroline!

Celebrate Christmas

This was our fourth time renting Catherine's Chalet. We traveled to PA to celebrate Christmas with our adult daughters. Catherine had set up a Christmas tree and the house was perfect as always. We attended Christmas eve mass at the church 2 doors away. The Chalet has a beautiful view of Harvey's Lake. Catherine is great at responding to any request and we really had a wonderful Christmas.

Great stay!

We had everything we needed right down to a Christmas tree with decorations! The beds were very comfortable and we had enough linens for all beds and pull out. The location was perfect -10 minutes from Misericordia University. Catherine was very responsive to all my questions-the perfect hostess!!

Great Lake side getaway!

This lake side getaway was a perfect place for the family and myself to stay for a recent wedding! The house was very clean and organized and the outside deck has a great view of the lake! It was raining the majority of the time we were there but we were still able to appreciate the natural beauty of the location! Plenty of room for the 5 adults that stayed there! Thank you again for being a great host!

Bachelorette Party

We hosted my daughter’s bachelorette party at this rental. It was very clean, roomy (we had six people staying here) and conveniently located to other destinations we visited throughout the weekend. Catherine was easy to reach and answered our questions leading up to the stay very promptly. The view of Harveys Lake was spectacular and fire pit area was perfect as we winded down in the evening. Definitely a place we’d stay at again, hoping for a yearly get together and will be back!

GOOD EXPERIENCE

MY SISTER S AND THEIR SPOUSES WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, I LIVE 1 MILE AWAY SO THEY ONLY SLEPT AND SHOWERED AND HAD COFFEE AT THE CHALET, NO NEED T COOK AND GRILL BUT EVERYONE WAS COMFORTABLE.

Weekend at the lake

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Dallas, PA and this place was fantastic. Catherine was very easy to communicate with, very friendly and even hand delivered the beach passes to us. The proximity to the wedding venue was great, views of the lake were lovely and having the beach access was a great perk. House was clean and had plenty of space for our little family.

Great house and location!

The house was very comfortable, the host provides plenty of amenities for a great stay. The overgrown yard and uneven gravel driveway were a challenge, especially given the nice weather during our visit. All in all, a nice stay.

Wonderfull Chalet / Great view of the lake

We traveled to Harvey's Lake to spend Christmas with our adult daughters. Catherine had set up a small Christmas tree for us . Even with the frigid cold we had a wonderful family Christmas. We love Harvey's Lake and have fond memories of keeping our boat there for 25yrs. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. We have rented it 3 times and would highly recommend renting it. This house is my first choice when travelling back to PA.

The Chalet on Harvey's Lake

We have celebrated Thanksgiving with family at the chalet for 3 straight years. Absolutely love the property, location and the communication with the owners!
