Detta New Braunfels Home erbjuder gott om plats! 5 sovrum, 3 & 1/2 badrum, på en tunnland mark mellan 3: e och 4: e korsningen på floden Guadalupe. Det har en utedusch cabana och ett rec room som sportar en storskärms-TV och en Foosball bord. Koka en god måltid i det nyligen uppdaterade köket med granitbänkskivor, ny bakplatta, spis, diskmaskin och mikrovågsugn! Matbordet har plats för 8 och det finns 6 stolar på frukostbaren. Det finns också 6 vadderade hopfällbara stolar. Rec room har också 4 uppsättningar våningssängar, 4 uppsättningar tvilling över fulla bunks sängar som rymmer 12 gäster. Det finns 4 sovrum på övervåningen; 3 med en queen size-säng och 1 med en king size-säng. Det finns också ett andra vardagsrum på övervåningen med en smart TV och en futon som kommer att sova 2 gäster. Det finns 2 badrum på övervåningen och ett halvt badrum nere. Det tredje toaletten är den externa duschkabinen som är nybyggd! Högkvalitativa sängkläder tillhandahålls för sängar och badrum. Alla rum har privata dörrar för att slingra runt däck, med utsikt över den stora skuggade gården med vackra pekanträd och fantastisk utsikt över floden Guadalupe. Övre däck har också två bänkar och en gunga. Vardagsrummet och rec rummet har kabel-TV och det finns Wi-Fi. Njut av att sitta ner vid floden i den helt nya paviljongen där ägaren har placerat en mycket hög eldstaden för din njutning, samt en kombiskol, propan och rökgrill! Hoppa i den underbara Guadalupe med direkt tillgång till floden! Det finns också 2 kajaker och 2 kanoter för din användning! Det finns inga flytvästar, så var noga med att ta med dig ett par. Den närmaste rörutrustaren till hemmet är Little Ponderosa Outfitters som ligger bara 4 miles bort! Hoppa upp till Hästsko och flyta rätt till din egen bakgård! 12 miles ner floden vägen till den historiska Gruene Hall, och många restauranger, 3 miles upp floden till Canyon Lake. Sattler är närmaste stad på 2,5 mil bort med en mataffär som lagrar allt från en smörgås till ett inre rör. Det finns också många frukost- och grillplatser i området! Gäster måste vara 25 år eller äldre för att göra en reservation och måste bo på fastigheten. Inga husdjur tillåtna. Detta hem har en maximal beläggning på 22 gäster. The perfect stay!

We had the best time at the house for my bachelorette. The house is very well thought out and wow - what a location! We floated with little ponderosa and they are amazing as well!

Beautiful place on the river

This property is beautiful on a large river front lot! Communication w rental company was very efficient and fast. Plenty of room for our large deck. The only negative is the place really does need more restrooms w showers. The owners did recently build an outside casita which is essentially a large bathroom that is nice. House comes equipped with everything.

Beautiful property

The property and location were fantastic. The kayaks were included and the outdoor space was exactly what we were looking for! The kid only room is perfect, but does have outdoor access so little kids cannot stay. We noticed the first night that some items weren’t working or were broken and the maintenance came and fixed quickly. The house is older and could use some fixing up. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group has been coming to the Guadalupe River for almost 20 years and only a few years ago did we come across this little gem. It is always clean, more than enough room for our crew that ranges anywhere from 16-20+ adults, it has great access to the river where we can either float the river to the house, or from the house with drop off and pick up help from Little Ponderosa - or simply sit your booty in the water right in the back! We couldn't ask for better location or accommodations and we will continue to come back to Players Place year after year

The game room was pretty hot when we got there but cooled off over night. The house could use some fans in every room for the hot Texas summers. This rental would be even better if the owner fixed her up a bit but over all we loved our stay. Little Ponderous Outfitters is a great outfitter for your floating needs and is right down the road from the house. We would stay here again for sure.

Our Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Player's Place. This is now our 3rd summer in a row to stay here for our "adults only" trip, and we love it. Plan to stay for years to come. We did notice some small, and some not-so-small improvements since last summer and appreciate it! The one suggestion we have is to update a few of the mattresses (ex: the two rooms at the back (river side) of the upstairs), and to make them all Queen size or larger. Upgrading the full size bed to a Queen or King makes a huge comfort difference for 2 adults. Other than that, we love it!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dirty, dirty, dirty. Rodent poop everywhere! Beds in the garage...really??? Dusty, old bed linens, place needs a major makeover. The most expensive 11 hours of my life. I could've stayed at the Four Seasons and it would've been a **** of a lot cleaner. Total rip off!! Don't do it!!!

Reviewer Comments: The location is really nice, offering natural stone-like "steps" to access the river; however, they are not very even, so you must exercise caution. Small children were carried down. The river was shallow and we could place our chairs in this area. And of course the river deepened into the center where we fly fished or floated! Ponderosa tubing was .5 mile down the road...very convenient! Quick notes: The grill was new and perfect for our meals! They had two propane tanks, one completely full. Two refrigerators made life easier! The ice maker was not producing much ice. Both a a regular coffee maker and a keurig were available. The upgraded the dining table easily accommodated 12 adults. The master has an attached bathroom, only pictured in the video, not in the still photos. Overall the home suited us well, 12 adults and 3 toddlers/babies. We would rent again! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay and the location on the river was ideal. Checkin and check out process was super easy but the property had a few disappointing issues like a tree blocking easy access to the river and broken outdoor furniture and a broken dishwasher bottom rack. The living room furniture needs updating and the space is not big enough for the size of the sleeping accommodations of this house.

Great Location But Quality Not Worth Price

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this home is fantastic, as you’re right on the river. That said, the interior of the home is not nearly worth the price. The dishwasher is broken, and there’s no hot water going to the kitchen sink (the kitchen faucet is loose so you can’t rotate the handle all the way to hot and get it to stay there), plus several of the dining chairs were broken upon arrival. The springs in the living room couches are completely worn out so sitting on the couches is extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom situation is untenable if you have ten people staying there like we did (hence the need for a 5 bedroom home), as you’ll be fighting for showers after a day on the river. The master bedroom is the only bedroom with an en-suite bathroom but that room only has a queen bed (oddly, another bedroom in the house has the only king bed in the home). All in all, it’s not what I expected for the price we paid. You’re literally only paying for the location, so just know that going in.

The Graduate's Great Escape

The check-in and check-out procedures were stress-free. We enjoyed the quiet and fell in love with the tattoo shop about 2 miles down the road. Tony was the best, and we all left with amazing art from him. Back to the house, she gave all the feels. We enjoyed playing cards and eating family meals together at the massive table. The kids rarely left the back room with the bunkbeds, they loved their space. The lights on the cabana by the river were a classy touch and made for a spring night by the river. We were planning our next trip before we even left.

Great group vacation home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my second time renting this home and I love it even more! The house is clean and very spacious. They have upgraded to a huge dining room table with more seats. The main stars are the wrap around porch and the backyard. Direct river access is everything and this location is perfect. Kitchen has plenty of items, just lacking the basic seasonings. Overall, we enjoy bringing our big group to this property. My only suggestion is upgraded couches, maybe a sectional. The current option can seat maybe 5 people.

Good location but too many issues

While the location and purpose of the property were perfect, several things could have made the stay better. 1. The fridge broke, and we only had one fridge, forcing us to buy ice and ice chests for everything that didn't fit into one fridge. 2. Hot water didn't work throughout the house 3. The furniture is old, outdated, and uncomfortable 4. Beds are weak and uncomfortable 5. Pans in the kitchen are old, burned, unusable 6. Because the house is on a septic tank, the use of the garbage disposal and flushing paper down the toilets can't be done. Forcing us to use more bags for toilet areas and food disposal. 7. The blinds throughout the house are not all usable, and you have to be careful not to break them as some don't turn. 8. There are strict regulations on the A/C temperature, and changing it to a more comfortable setting 9. Parking is great; however, in the middle of the driveway, walking out of the fence, there is a big gap in the concrete that a few people tripped over, and it appears to be made intentionally that way. There are no signs or warnings, and one of the small children on our trip got his foot stuck with his shoes on. Management did respond quickly; however, no attempt was made to return money or offer additional help due to the fridge issue.
