Fantastisk lägenhet på översta våningen på en av de vackraste gatorna i Nice, den vackra trädkantade rue Alphonse Karr. Denna fastighet på sjätte våningen i en Art Deco-byggnad (med hiss) ligger perfekt i hjärtat av Carre d’Or. Med en dubbel aspekt har lägenheten en öppen utsikt mot öst och söder som garanterar solsken från soluppgång över Mount Boron till sent på eftermiddagen. En balkong går längs lägenheten och är tillgänglig från alla rum via 4 franska dörrar. Det finns härlig utsikt över hustakarna i Nice till kullarna och bergen bortom och ner till den eleganta gatan i boutique-fodret nedan: det perfekta stället för kaffe och croissanter på morgonen eller ett glas lokalt rosvin på eftermiddagen. Fastigheten renoverades helt (2011) för att inkludera ett italiensk utrustat kök, lyxigt badrum och parkettgolv och italiensk golvbeläggning i hela. Alla apparater, inredning och möbler är av hög kvalitet, moderna och eleganta.

Carnaval 2025

This was our second time staying in this apartment for Carnaval. The location is perfect for the Carnaval events as well as for exploring Nice and the surrounding area. The building is clean and quiet and the apartment is well equipped. Mehran was very accommodating and attentive. My friend and I plan on making this our annual trip together, and certainly will continue to stay here.

Place is tired

The couch is uncomfortable. The floor is lifting by the windows where rain damage has caused the wood to lift. The place needs a deep and thorough cleaning. The washer dryer combo never really dries anything, especially the bath towels. The stove only has one burner but it works fast! The location is fantastic and it is quiet at night. We loved how close all the transportation hubs were to the apartment. The restaurant across the street has great takeout.

Perfect location

The apartment is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the tram and buses and a 10 min. walk to the boulevard des Anglais. It is in walking distance to the old town and to most of the sites. Bakeries and grocery stores and many restaurants are also nearby and a 15. min. walk takes you to the train station. The apartment has a modern kitchen with all appliances and plenty of dishes. We were disappointed that because of two large portable air conditioners two of the doors to the balcony could neither be completely closed nor opened. All in all, we recommend this apartment.

Emplacement parfait

A few little things were annoying. (1) Only 2 toilet rolls for 3 people for 4 nights so we had to request more (2) there were no garbage bags (3) no instructions for the washing machine so had to waste time on Google to find some. (4) No instructions for oven and microwave (5) didn't discover the drying rack on balcony until day 3 of our stay. Would have been better to be told on arrival. (6) Noisy Aircon. Maybe the owners should prepare a welcome pack with all these things in.

Great Location

Quiet apartment on top floor. Nice view, and really close to Old town,Train Station, Patisserie (Right across the street), supermarket(1/2 block away). Mehran, checked us in early, and did a walk thru. He even installed a portable A/C. Great spot!

Super klasse für eine Städtereise

Das Haus befindet sich im Herzen Nizzas, nur ein paar Schritte von Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, Avenue Jean Médecin etc. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist hervorragend. Die Schlüsselübergabe war total unkompliziert. Mehram ist super nett und aufmerksam. Die Kommunikation mit ihm lief problemlos. Was braucht mehr? Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Merci beaucoup et au revoir!

Une belle vacance en Nice

This is a lovely snug apartment in the Carre d’Or in Nice. Everything you need from pots and pans to comfy beds and a breakfast balcony! The location is superb being a short walk to Place Massena, the Promenade, Vielle Ville and train station. The neighbourhood is full of lovely shops as well as a sinfully good patisserie just across the street. Mehran was always available and responded quickly to any text. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Perfect neighborhood!

Wow! This apartment had it all! It was in the best location (1 block from a subway, 5 blocks from the regional train, 2 blocks from a HUGE restaurant strip). It also had a great balcony with views of the city and surrounding hills. The beach was a 10 minute walk away. My host contacted me via whatsapp, so its good if you have that app. I would definitely stay here again!

Appartement très agréable

Je passe toutes mes vacances d'été à Nice , la première fois au carré d'or , très bon emplacement, l'appartement très fonctionnel,rien ne manquait , Mr Hamilton très accueillant et disponible en plus d'être sympathique. Je recommande cette location.

Côte d’Azur delight

What a wonderful apartment from which to explore Nice and other beautiful places along the Côte d’Azur. Being so central meant we only needed the excellent public transport for our coastal outings. We enjoyed walking through the elegant and lively streets, the sea, sun and lots of gastronomic delights. Great galleries, churches and shops for the occasional rainy intervals. Nice has lots of good cafés to enjoy people watching too. The apartment was very comfortable and we’d been left lots of ideas to help us plan our days and dinners. Many thanks.

Lovely, Small Nice Apartment

Excellent location, very close to old town and Promenade ‘de Anglaise. I walked everywhere. The aforementioned problem with the key an the elevator did not exist. The surround balcony was a definite plus. The property manager M. Hamilton went above and beyond. I would definitely rent this property again.

Great location, but needs better AC

The location can't be beat, however, the air conditioning is borderline non existent. Staying in June-July, it was nearly impossible to sleep as it was so hot and the bulky air conditioner was insufficient to cool the living room, never mind the bedroom. Elevator didn't work for 2 days, so my elderly husband was pretty much confined to the apartment as he was unable to do 6 floors of stairs and unfortunately the TV didn't work either so he was quite bored. The property manager replaced it 4 days later with a new one. Dishwasher also didn't work, but was not an inconvenience for us. Combo oven/microwave/grill takes a little practise to figure out. Everything one would need is in the apartment, but the balcony is very dirty and uninviting, nothing resembling the photograph in the listing. Lots of charges in addition to the fee stated.. Cleaning fee, linen fee, service fee, tax of course and an unknown charge listed as additional charges. Never did know what that was for. Altogether added up to an additional 1/3 of our lodging price on a 9 night stay. Having said the negative, I could possibly be persuaded to stay here again in a cooler season as the location was so convenient.

Gillade: Incheckning och plats

Defekte Klimaanlage

Die Ferienwohnung haben wir zu zweit bewohnt - der Aufzug fuhr barrierefrei in die 6. Etage. Ist das Appartement innen hochwertig eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt, so benötigt der Balkon eine Renovierung, sollte aber zumindest besser geputzt und von unnötigen Gegenständen wie leeren und abgeblühten Blumenkübeln befreit werden. Unabhängig davon haben wir aber die Aussicht genossen. Bei Schlüsselübergabe wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Klimaanlage defekt ist. Ein Monoblock-Klimagerät mit Luftschlauch nach draußen wurde aufgestellt, kühlte allerdings nicht. Der Geschirrspüler funktionierte ebenfalls nicht, war für das Wohlbefinden aber nicht so entscheidend. In Nizza hatten wir typische Sommertage über 30 Grad mit Nachttemperaturen über 20 Grad. Selbst wenn etwas Wind wehte, genügte es leider nicht immer für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Das lag an der Wärme, aber auch an den Mücken, die uns nachts bei offenen Fenstern heimsuchten. So mussten wir leider die Entscheidung treffen, in ein klimatisiertes Apartment-Hotel in der Nähe umzuziehen. Der Mitarbeiter vor Ort war gut erreichbar. Es blieb aber unklar, zu welcher Agentur er gehörte. Die im Mietvertrag angegebene Ansprechpartnerin, die wir wegen der Klimaanlage auch kontaktiert haben, war nicht mehr zuständig. Der Vermieter hatte uns wegen der Unannehmlichkeiten eine angemessene Erstattung überwiesen. Das fanden wir sehr kulant. Wir sind uns sicher, dass die Ferienwohnung mit funktionierender Klimaanlage eine gute Empfehlung für einen Urlaub in dieser wunderbaren Stadt ist.

Nice is a wonderful city - there is something for everyone to do or see, and the weather is fantastic whatever time of year you choose to visit.

The property was completely refurbished in 2011. We have sought to make the most of the space available in a simple, relaxed, practical, modern yet stylish way. All materials and fittings are of high quality giving a little bit of the good life in the French Riviera - we could all do with a bit of that from time to time.
